Npov

I followed Apollo silently in cat form (human feet are more clumsy than cat ones and more likely to make sound.)

He glanced behind him and I darted into the shadows. He figured there was no one following him and stepped into a room. My room.

I lurked behind him, hiding behind various things when he looked my way. He was only about a foot away from me, but he didn't know I was there.

At least that's what I thought....

Wpov

"What did you do to him?!"

"Oh, we haven't done anything yet, of course. That would be incredible stupid."

"If you hurt him-" Jason threatened.

"Oh sush. (A/N: solangelo_ships sound like anyone? Mrs. Petty perhaps?) We won't hurt him if you-"

"We aren't going along with your plans, if that's what you're thinking." Jason growled.

"Then you'd let a poor friend die? How selfish."

I glanced around for a way to stall her, or maybe even fight her, but there was nothing.

Except an open door. An open door! I practically jumped for joy. Maybe Nico was still out there. Maybe I could still save him!

I darted towards the door, without sharing my plans with the rest of them because Hera was still in the room.

I had to save Nico.

Npov

I thought he didn't know I was there. I was wrong. No, I was tricked. I hid behind a chair and watched him move to the closet. He did everything slowly, like he wanted me to watch him...

Then he opened the closet. The door to the room slammed close. He brought out a cage and opened it. I felt fear bubble up inside me.

He knew I was there the whole time!

He turned in my direction and grinned. "You thought you were doing something good? Well, like I always said, nekos can barely ever do things right. Hera is in the other room, telling your friends that if they don't listen then they won't see you again. Alas, you'll already be dead."

I pressed myself up against the wall. I shut my eyes and tried to concentrate on turning human, but I couldn't focus at all. My only thought was that Apollo was right in front of me, Will wasn't with me to stop him, and Apollo had a cage.

I opened my eyes again, trembling. What was I supposed to do?

Apollo kept coming closer. There was no way out of this.

Then, in a flash, he shoved me into the cage and locked it. Then he leaned in. "Now you can't say anything. Hera still thinks I'm working for her."
