He chose me.

He actually chose me.

My heart fluttered at the thought.

I vaguely remember Will telling me to get to sleep. I also remember laying down on a nice patch of grass and turning into a cat to keep warm. Then I remember closi my eyes and thinking, 'he loves me.' Before I went to sleep.

So I was puzzled, when I woke up, that I wasn't on the patch of grass. I was in Will's lap, purring softly. He was rubbing my ears and whispering things like, "You're so adorable," and "How could someone mistreat a cutie like you?"

I looked up at him and meowed quietly.

"You're awake?"

I meowed again.

"That's good. Do you want some breakfast? Annabeth went hunting and Frank cooked everything. It's really good."

I meowed once again and Will took it as a yes.

"Okay." He set me down at I transformed back into a human with cat ears and a tail.

I looked around and found everyone was sitting around a campfire chatting. I went over and they offered me food. It looked pretty good, and I was hungry, so I ate the food.

"So how are we going to get back the kingdom?" Percy asked.

"Hm. I don't know yet."

"We could cause chaos in the towns."

"What do you mean?" Will asked.

"You know, things like yelling that Hera's about as useful as a dead toad as loud as we can." Leo grinned.

I raised an eyebrow. "Dead toad?"

"Well, yeah. I don't know anything less useful than a dead toad."

Okay, then. Leo's way of rebelling is odd.

"Or we steal things from the shops."

"That would be bad for the people." Will pointed out.

"Fine, what about this..." Annabeth told us the plan and we all agreed it was the best. First, though, we'd have to find Thalia.

You'd think it'd be easy to find a girl that the entire kingdom is looking for. You'd think if this girl had posters on every street corner and every shop window, that maybe we'd be able to find clues to where she is.

Not so much.

We had to split up into groups to find her, and even then, it wasn't until the next day that I got a text saying they found her.

We met up in the forest again, and found the group already there, plus Thalia. Reynawas the only one not back yet.

"Hey." She said.

"Hey." Will waved awkwardly. "So um. We were hoping-"

"They already told me the plan. So when are we going to-" she suddenly stopped talking. She was looking at something-or someone- behind me.

I tensed and took Nico's hand.

"Relax, guys, it's just me." Reyna's voice calmed me down.

She walked over to the rest of the group. "So. When are we going to do this?"

Thalia blinked. "Right. Okay. I was thinking maybe-"

"WHO'S THERE?!"

We all tensed at the sound of the voice. Nico was shaking.

We knew that voice all too well...
