After more and more Kaijoids and Kaiju started to appear the humans began to colanize a small island chain for the Kaijoids in order to attempt keeping them away from the main land. It could go either way at this point.

Kaijoids: You are currently arriving at the largest island in the island chain.

Humans: You are currently at the islands to make sure everything goes according to plan.
