Third Person POV

Mina briskly made her way along the pavement, hugging her coat over her body to fight off the cold air. She arrived at the coffee shop that she arranged to meet Taeyong at, and glanced round the shop to spot him sat by the window. He offered a small wave, and she returned it, making her way over to the table-for-two that the boy was sat at.

"Hi," he smiled. "How have you been?"
"Good." Mina smiled in return. "You?"
"Not bad," He replied, standing up as she sat down. "Want me to get you a drink?"
"Oh you don't have to-" The girl began, but was cut short with a breathtaking smile.

"Don't worry about it." He smiled. "Latte?"
"Actually.. could I get a hot chocolate?" She asked politely. "I'm not a big fan of coffee."
"Sure thing." He smiled. He already knew that; what a rookie mistake.

The pair spent a while chatting away about this and that, Taeyong taking mental notes at the little personality traits she expressed from her stories. She hates confrontation, loves watching movies, gets embarrassed when complimented, and has a brilliant sense of humour. For a split second Taeyong thought he'd never be able to compare to someone like her.

Mina didn't have any of these thoughts - unlike Taeyong her brain worked in a simple way. She thought he was funny, so she was having a good time. She did notice that he liked to act very chivalrous and gentlemanly, and there was something slightly off about the boy that she picked up on, but brushed it off as nerves or just a bad vibe day.

"Do you wanna go watch a movie?" Taeyong asked her, which caused her to look up at the boy, raising her eyebrows and swirling the paper straw round in the cup.
"Bit spontaneous isn't it?" She asked, smiling at him.
"There's a movie on that I really wanted to go watch..." he told her. "Train to Busan? Have you heard of it?"

"Oh my god yes! I really wanted to go see that!" Mina's eyes lit up with excitement, causing Taeyong to smile at her. Of course he knew she wanted to see it. "Can we go?"

Taeyong didn't care much for movies, but he was so glad he suggested it just to see Mina's smile. He never felt that way about Yoona, or anyone else really. He always thought their smiles looked fake, or too flirtatious, or ugly. But Mina, Mina was different. Mina was perfect.

He also got to drag out the time he spent with her. The boy thought hopefully by the time they leave the movie theatre it'll be dark, so he can walk her home. Maybe they'll even go out for a drink or two.

"Gosh it's cold." Mina shivered slightly as the pair walked towards the movie theatre. Taeyong saw his opportunity and swooped in to hold her hand in his, before shoving it in his pocket before she could say anything. The action definitely caught Mina off guard, but if there was one thing Taeyong was confident in, it was the act of flirtation.

"So the gentleman moves swiftly." Mina giggled once she'd registered what had happened and gotten over her initial embarrassment. Mina was very good at pretending she was okay on the outside, when on the inside everything was legitimate chaos.

"Too swiftly?" Taeyong glanced over at the girl for any signs of discomfort. Consent was important.
"Not at all," she smiled, squeezing his hand lightly. "I kind of like my new personal hand warmer."
"Glad to hear it." A genuine smile covered Taeyong's face.

"If only I could warm up my face." Mina mumbled, lifting her free hand to cup her rosy face. Now Taeyong was the one caught off guard, turning to face the girl with a raised brow. It took her a moment, but once it clicked she stuttered and apologised. "Oh god sorry not like that- I didn't mean- oh my god." She face palmed in embarrassment, only causing the boy to laugh. As if he couldn't get any happier, Mina just keeps pulling out these surprises.

They sauntered into the theatre, Mina laying her eyes upon a familiar face striding in the opposite direction surrounded by friends.
"Mingyu!" She waved, catching his attention. "I didn't know you were coming here."
"Didn't know I had to tell you my whereabouts." He shrugged, his friends snickering at his comment.

"Who's this guy?" Mingyu then gestured to Taeyong, who suddenly became a bit flustered.
"Didn't know I had to tell you who I hang out with." Mina huffed in reply.
"Is it your new boyfriend?" Mingyu gestured to her hand - which was still tucked tightly in Taeyong's pocket. He waited for Mina to get flustered and take her hand away, but she didn't.

"Is that your new boyfriend." She gestured to Mingyu's best friend Taehyun - whom she'd seen countless times - and laughed at their flustered reaction.

"I'm Taeyong. Nice to meet you." He smiled at the boy, who was still recovering from his hurt pride.
"I'm Mingyu." He huffed. "She's my sister."
"Sadly." Mina sighed. "Let's leave before they give us any more diseases."

"Don't bang her too hard~" Taehyun teased, causing the rest of the boys to snicker and laugh as they turned away.
"At least I'm getting some you virgin." Mina retorted, and at this point the teenage boys were bursting with laughter.

"At least I'm getting some?" Taeyong mocked.
"Oh shush." Mina laughed, nudging him slightly. "I did what needed to be done."
"I'll agree with you there." He chuckled, stopping in his tracks to stand in the queue for tickets. "Is your brother always that mean?"
"Not really." She replied. "It's all amplified around his friends because he thinks he's being cool."

"I see." He sighed.
"Do you have any siblings?" She asked.
"Nah, I'm am only child." He smiled. "I'm a bit spoiled, but I always try to give back to others."
"Ooh, speaking of giving back," Mina began, and Taeyong smiled at her pleasantly.

"I volunteer down at the docks on Sundays; would you like to come down and help out?"
"Ooh! Sounds good." Taeyong smiled. He'll get to show the old folk he's nothing more than your friendly neighbourhood young boy, and get to spend more time with Mina.

Mina enjoyed the movie a lot. At one point however she got so scared that Taeyong lifted the armrest between them and had to hold her to "protect her from the zombies," but he didn't mind. He thought it was adorable.

As he had hoped, the sun had set by the time they exited the theatre.
"Damn, is it already 8pm?" Mina sighed. "I better get home."
"You don't have to go in early." Taeyong dragged out the 'have', almost in a whiny fashion. "I haven't lived here long, and I don't know the area very well. I'd appreciate if you could show me some of the nightlife."

"Well..." Mina seemed lost in thought for a moment, before shaking her head a little. "Nah, I don't wanna get home late and wake my mum up."
"You could stay at mine if you wanted?" He smirked, "and get some" he said the last part as a joke, causing Mina to laugh merrily.

"Gosh, you sure are confident." She giggled, leaning against a nearby wall. There weren't many people outside the theatre, despite it being prime time to watch a movie. She stared up at Taeyong, who stood facing her staring back. Until he took a step closer.

"I've been told I have a very handsome face." He smirked, now looking down at her with his hand leaning against the wall beside her.
"Wow, really? Where'd you get that from?" Mina laughed, teasing him, and he gave an exhale of a laugh whilst hanging his head a little. "What?" She laughed after he kept his head low for a while, chuckling to himself a little.

"Nothing," he sighed happily, looking back up at her. "I just get a bit nervous around you."
"Nervous?" Mina asked. "Why?"
"I don't wanna mess anything up." He told her. "You deserve more."
"Eyyy~" Mina cooed, looking away in embarrassment and smiling a little. "In come the cheesy police."

"I mean it." Taeyong lifts his hand to touch the side of her cheek gently, turning her head back up to look at him. He stepped closer, keeping their bodies close as he leant down, his lips moving closer to hers.

"Am I about to get some?" She whispered.
"Mina."
"Yeah?"
"Don't ruin the moment."
"Okay sorry."

Their lips got centimetres apart until Taeyong broke it off, moving away at Mina's last sentence and burst out laughing. This too caused Mina to burst out laughing, and the pair were stood there laughing like a pair of kids.

"My god," Taeyong caught his breath. "I was not expecting that at all."
"I'm sorry." Mina giggled. "I couldn't help it."
"Maybe outside of a movie theatre isn't the best place to have our first kiss." Taeyong mumbled. "I've got hot chocolate at mine if you want some?" Mina giggled at the boy's choice of words, and nodded.

"Let's go get some."
