After she met with the Aurors, Violet headed in the opposite direction of her office - where her assistants' happened to be.  It was just as she was about to wrap her hand around the silver door knob when the screaming girl to her left caught her attention.

"Violet!" she squealed before jumping on Violet, wrapping her long legs around her torso. "I missed you!"

A groan escaped Violet's lips when the woman's body collided against hers, her boots digging into the ground to keep her stable. The scene caused strangers around to shake their heads at how immature the Minister looked at the moment. It made her remember how she was being watched at all times.

"Cressida! You're heavy!" Violet giggled, causing Cressida to drop to her feet and raise her left hand in the air. "Shut up!" Violet's jaw dropped to the ground, a scream escaping her lips now. "When did it happen?!"

"Last night just before we left the resort. Rose did it so romantically!" Cressida threw her head back with the loudest groan of happiness as she hugged her ringed hand. "France is so beautiful Violet; I want to go back already! But I mean hello?! I come back after nearly twelve months away and you practically own the wizarding world?!"

Violet's smile dropped and her expression changed into a cringed face as she remembered what it was Cressida missed. She meant to give her a call but it was her romantic getaway, Violet didn't want to call her with problems that could ruin it. Besides, if she did call then Cressida would've just made it all about herself, it's a habit she hasn't grown out of since Hogwarts.

"Yeah, I've been meaning to phone you." Violet gave puppy eyes to the taller girl in front of her. "My father passed away a week ago and we all attended his funeral yesterday. I just didn't want to bother you with my problems, I mean look if I called you wouldn't have gotten engaged last night."

"No Violet, you are my sister-in-law now! Your problems are important to me." Cressida rubbed Violet's arm in a comforting manner. "And Thomas? Had he been of any help with arranging the funeral or comforting you for the most part?"

Violet felt her heart stop beating and she didn't know if she should have told her about the woman, he'd been seeing those past few months. Or, if she should just lie and said everything is perfectly fine because Cressida shouldn't sweat about their problems?

It'd been a while since they had a chat but things were so much different than when she had last seen Cressida. She'd been vacationing for a year and had only had a phone call with Violet about five times.

"Thomas has been - he's been great in comforting me." Violet lied as she nodded to make her words believable. She held Cressida's hand firmly in her grip and smiled. "But enough about me, I want to catch up with everything you've been doing in France! And I'd love to do that now but I do have a meeting, so, how does breakfast tomorrow sound?"

"Y-yes, breakfast tomorrow sounds good." Cressida frowned, almost not believing the lie Violet told but she brushed it off because the excitement she was feeling is unforgettable. "Au revoir Violet." She began running backward, still talking as she did so. "See I learned that in France!"

Violet laughed at her comment - holding the back of her hand against her smile - as she watched Cressida walk off in an attempt to find Thomas' office. She made Violet feel like a normal girl who didn't have the weight of the world on her shoulders but when she left, reality set in.

This was reality.

"Bonjour Madame Blishen." the French voice behind her caused her to squeeze her eyes shut, forgetting she had that meeting.

She had her back to the man she imagined as old, judgmental but mostly angry because he had to work with someone as young as Violet. A cigar in his mouth with a breath of spoiled coffee. Seemed to describe every man that had it out for her lately.

Violet kept her eyes shut as she turned on her heels, smiling shyly.

"It's Nott." she corrected him, only to be left speechless when she opened her eyes and saw the young man in front of her. "O-or Blishen. Whatever you want to call me is fine."

She kept her eyes glued onto his as he picked up her hand gently, lowering his upper body to place a peck on the back of it. Her lips slightly parted and she felt the tension of her body when his lips brushed against her skin.

Her bottom lip squished in between her pearly white teeth and what she uttered next made her want to be swallowed into the ground.

"Pleurage."

The young man's head shot up, shocked by her word but he too turned just as red as she was at that moment. Her hand slipped out of his grip to cover her mouth in shock and if only he could've seen the shock on his face, he would laugh about it.

"I apologize that was not what I meant to say, how inappropriate of me." Violet fanned herself as she smiled cheekily. "How about we talk in my office across the hall? It's nice to meet you...?"

"Elio La Maistre." his head bowed down once more for the woman beside him as they elegantly walked down the glass bridge to her office doors. "I hope I was not intruding just now, however; I did come by your office and you weren't here."

Violet's hand gripped the large handles of her doors, jamming them open as they both fit into the opening before she quickly slammed them shut.

"Coffee?" she offered as she walked over to the stand by her desk, while Elio gave her an approving nod. "Monsieur, La Maistre, you were not intruding. I apologize for not being here, I was preoccupied with a Ministry matter."

"Oh, please -" he reached for his cup of coffee as he spoke. "- call me Elio. We're not so far in age to call each other that way."

"Très bien." Violet held her mug to her lips, smiling as her eyes rose to the man sitting before her with his finger sliding across the fine china. "Elio."

"Very well indeed, Violet."

There was a familiar connection between the two and Violet felt it as she watched him sitting across from her. Violet's eyebrows were furrowed together above her curious eyes; she had a hold on the Minister of France's eyes and she wouldn't let it go until she knew if she was correct.

"Mon Dieu." she shook her head as her eyes rolled flirtatiously to the side. "You went to Beauxbatons Academy many years ago, did you not?"

Elios lips parted slightly in the corner, smirking with his perfectly white pearled teeth. His head nodded slightly and he started to bring the mug back down to the table that was separating their bodies.

"I did, yes." his smirk turned into a full smile and his finger traced over his lips. "Now I see you. It's quite hard to dismiss Adam Bonavich's girlfriend, am I right?"

Violet fell silent, her hand dropped onto her bare lap as her dress rose from her sudden uncomfortable movement in her chair. She dragged her index finger softly over the edges of her wooden desk, letting her eyes fall from the men.

A sigh escaped her lips and she finally rose her eyes once more. "Adam and I are no longer an item actually; we haven't been for a while." she cleared her throat and tapped her ring finger on the table, causing his eyes to scan her diamond engagement ring along with her wedding band.

"I am married." she continued with a forced smile on her face, thinking she was fooling everyone. "You may meet him if you plan to stay, he's an Auror here. One of the best I might add."

"Oh, my sincere apologies." his cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he adjusted his tie. "Well, now that we are on the topic of my stay here -" he apparated a file into his hands, sliding it across to her and she began to read it. "- your signature there could allow us to work together for six months to bring our Ministry's closer together and share strategies."

"Is that so?"

Violet took her pen in between her teeth, twirling it around as she read every word on the document in front of her. She didn't know this man all that well to sign a six-month deed in the mere minutes of knowing him.

Her eyes continuously moved from the unsigned paper back to his until she was too exhausted to do it any longer.

Slowly, her hand gripped the pen as she began removing it from between her teeth to place the end of the line where she should sign. And just like that, there was a black dot of ink, tempting her to move into her signature so that this man could stay and she could get to know him.

Get to know how it is he knows Adam or how it is he came to this conclusion of aligning himself with the Minister of the UK. Violet knew her father had plans of aligning the Ministries, he was a French man himself so being the Minister of the UK made him feel estranged from his roots and all Violet wants to do is finish his job.

She cleared her throat - shaking her hair away from her face - as she began scribbling her name on the black line with the x. Her hand lifted off as she finished her fancy signature and she finally stared back up at Elio.

"Six months will go by like a breeze." she joked and stopped him from retrieving the paper by slamming her hand against it. "If you don't mind, I'd prefer to have this in my possession until your last day in my Ministry?"

It was noticeable, the distrust in her voice as she dropped the document flat into her drawer before kicking it shut with her boots. Her serious lips curled into a devious smile that for once fooled the Minister so well that he felt chills on his body.

"Well, my assistant shall see through to your needs for your stay." Violet began to stand up, dusting her bottom off before extending her hand out for him to shake. "Otherwise, unless there is something else, you'd like to discuss I believe this meeting has finished."

The minister was quick not to let this opportunity slide before he stopped her midway from opening the door to let him out.

"Would it be appropriate for me to ask you out for a drink tonight?" he blurted out, hardly believing he was able to utter those words so loudly. "To get to know each other of course, talk over this decision of aligning much better."

Violet's lips pursed, her eyelashes blinking repeatedly because of how confused she was by the confusing invitation. Her hand dropped the door handle, using it to pull open the heavy door as he began to walk toward her.

"I think a drink will be fine." she smiled as his scent filled the warm air around her body the second he passed her, brushing his chest against her shoulder. "My assistant can give you a location of a place for tonight."

"Can't wait." his lips curved into a smile before he bowed his head to her, beginning to walk off. "Good day, Violet."

"Good day, Elio."

As Violet began to shut the large door, a large hand stopped it just before it slammed. The sudden action made her jump back in fright, immediately grabbed her wand from thin air to point it at the mysterious person. Her hand dropped with disgust and annoyance when she saw Theodore walk into the office with a frown and worried eyes.

Her eyes roll to the back of her head as she stepped back before her back was turned against him so she could walk toward her chair.

"What can I help you with this time Mr. Nott?" she sighed, dropping herself harshly onto the leather seat before holding her hands on her lap. "I was hoping for a moment of peace before my next meeting; so, make whatever this is, quick."

Violet's eyes followed him as he took a seat on the chair before her, his chin shaking because of his nervousness. He hated how he felt when Violet is around, he felt disappointed in himself because he lost her and the way he treated her. His mind went to the times they had and he just wanted to break into tears, drop at her feet, and beg for forgiveness.

But she would only kick him away.

"I just wanted to thank you for the posit -"

"Don't thank me." Violet was quick to interrupt, rolling her chair forward so her lower body was under the table. "I didn't favor you for you to thank me, I simply went with my father's intuition and continued seeking the best Auror. Thank yourself."

"Mm, of course." Theodore, dropped his head back, rummaging through his pockets for a cigarette and Violet watched curiously. "Thank you, me."

Violet's lips parted as she watched him place the white cigarette between his plumped lips she once loved so much. His veiny hands covered it to allow it to catch a flame and Violet squeezed her thighs beneath the table, biting her bottom lip harshly.

Her eyes caught his - not on hers - but scanning her delicately pale hands as they folded together on her wooden desk. His eyebrows creased, making her wonder what he was furrowing on about now.

"You kept the ring." he cleared his throat as his cigarette burned between his fingers. His eyes dropped to her hand where his emerald quidditch ring was on her finger. "I thought you would've tossed it."

Violet ran her tongue along the inside of her cheek and she started sliding the ring back off her slim finger. She felt his eyes burning with rage as she placed the ring in the palm of her hand. Her lips smirked as she began to extend her hand out towards him.

"Take it back." she cocked an eyebrow, mocking what he said that day in his office. "I insist."

"Are you mocking me?" his eyebrows scrunched harder as his lips curled with anger making them shake uncontrollably. "Is this funny to you?"

"Does it sound familiar?" Violet continued with her sassy tone and mocking comebacks. "I could trade you for another ring."

Theodores' hand slammed flat against the wooden table, causing Violet to flinch out of natural reaction. Her eyes widened with fright - remembering how Adam used to react the same way - but Theodore quickly noticed her reaction, he felt awful.

"Violet, I'm so sorry- I didn't mean -"

"Get out!" Violet shuts her eyes, tapping her finger repeatedly on the desk to avoid crying. "Take the ring and get out! This conversation is long over!"

"You will not keep throwing me out like this Violet." Theodore wrapped his hand around her extended wrist and yanked her forward, causing her body to lift off her seat and go forward over the desk. "I'm done being your puppet! Listening every time, you want to see me leave with heartbreak in my body!"

Violet's chest was heaving quickly while her upper body hovered over the desk to his side where he was standing. They were face to face but he was much angrier as hers was shocked because of him standing up for himself rather than leaving.

"Theo-"

"Shut up." Theo gripped her chin, pulling her into a kiss that spoke for itself.

Violet pushed away with no hesitation, breathing heavily as she stepped back, away from him with her cheeks flushed and her lips swollen.

"Oh, seriously Violet?" he licked his bottom lip as he walked around the desk towards her but she continuously stepped back. "Don't act like you don't miss me! Like you don't miss us!"

"I-I don't." Violet tripped back but her back felt the pressure of his palm holding her up and she sighed. "Fuck this."

Violet gave in and smashed her lips with his, causing a grunt to leave Theo as her arms swung around his tall figure, wrapping around his neck. She pulled him down and hard into their heated kiss but his hands were busy gripping her arse to bring her body closer to his.

His leg lifted higher - placing his foot on a wooden slab of her desk - and he pulled her onto his thigh. A gasp escaped his lips when he felt how wet he was through his trousers. Her hand wrapped around the back of his neck and her forehead rested against him as she tiptoed to touch the floor from her height.

"Tell me you don't want to do it." he breathed in her air as her lips grazed his. "When was the last time you had an orgasm so good you felt the need to scream?"

Violet's eyes widened at his words but she was too shocked to get out a full sentence. "N- It's be-"

Theo placed his hand on her lower back and started rocking her body against his thigh. The movement made Violet throw her head back and moan into the hot air around the two.

Violet started grinding against him on her own and she felt Theo's hardness grow against the thin material of her knickers. It caused a pleasured moan to escape her lips that have smeared red lipstick on them from their heated kiss.

"Ride me," Theo grunted as Violet continued grinding against his hardness, leaving a wet stain on his trousers. "Tell me you're not enjoying this?"

"I hate you." Violet's breath shuttered as her toes begin to curl off the ground. "I'm n-not enjoying this."

Her inability to speak made Theo grow a smirk on those precious lips of his and he dipped down into her neck. However, he took the opportunity to tease her and make her want him more so he could see her often.

So, he kept his lips off the soft, gentle skin on her neck as she threw her head back to give him more access. His hot breath gave her goosebumps and the urgent need for his lips to be pressed against her neck that he was so close to. Theo however, kept his distance but let his lips slightly graze her chilled skin, making her toes curl more.

"Do want me to kiss you?" he asked huskily against her neck, still refusing to give her the pleasure. "Is the tease giving you a pulsing feeling between those beautiful thighs?"

Violet was squeezing her thighs together so hard that Theo's thigh was squished in between them in utter pain. But she too wasn't going to give in his pleasure.

"N-no." she moaned with her lips between her teeth.

"Oh no?" the sarcasm dripped off his tongue as he trailed it across her skin, wetting her neck. "Does this, make you feel it?"

"Not even close." Violet continued grunting through her heavy breathing and continuous grinding.

Violet's hand wrapped around Theo's shoulder, her nails digging roughly into the material of his Auror uniform. It was hard for her to control how good it felt having an orgasm with someone else after a year alone.

"F-fuck!" her voice quivered as her head fell against his, tiredly panting as her body let go.

"Atta girl." Theo chuckled as Violet's feet fell flat onto the ground, her body sliding off his soaked thigh that was shaking. His hand gripped her chin, forcing her to look at his eyes. "You liked it, don't try to hide the fact that it makes you feel alive again."

"Just because I liked it, doesn't mean it changes anything between us." Violet chuckled evilly, pushing his chest harshly. "What I'd like right now is for you to leave and not mention this ever again, because it won't happen ever again."
