Yeonjun's POV:

As soon as I left Haneul's house that day, I made my way to Rocky's place, who was impatiently waiting for me.

The taxi parked in front of his house. I paid the driver and I jumped out of the car, knocking on the door right after. When the door opened I didn't see who I thought I'd see, but Rowoon's face smiling at me.

"Hey hyung! I didn't know you'd be here!" I exclaimed, shaking his hand and hugging him friendly.

"It's been a while, how have you been? Your hair is blue, that's cool" He chuckled, ruffling my hair.

I smiled and shrugged, walking in and taking off my shoes.

"I've been great. Pretty much the same as always. What about you and where the hell is Rocky?"

He walked upstairs and I followed him whilst he explained how busy he's been and how he took the opportunity to come and see Rocky as soon as he said he needed to tell him something.

"So you don't know about it either?" He asked, opening the door of Rocky's room.

I was about to answer his question, but as soon as I entered, Rocky stood up from his desk and came to me to shake my hand.

"It was about time" He said stepping back, looking for something over his desk.

Rowoon and I sat on his bed, waiting expectantly and confused. He was being too mysterious and that was kind of weird coming from him, at least with us, cause we never kept secrets from each other.

"Can you please tell us now what's the matter?" Rowoon said. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned my back against the wall behind me.

Rocky sighed, handing us a white envelope. Rowoon and I looked at each other, both frowning in confusion, however, I took it and opened it.

It didn't take long for us to read it.

"A scholarship?" Rowoon asked, looking at Rocky.

"A dancing scholarship?" I asked after. Rocky nodded.

"I applied a while ago but I didn't think I'd be accepted. It's from one of the most prestigious dance academies in the States"

"But why is that a bad thing? You've been dreaming this for a long time. I thought it was something bad but it's amazing news!" I exlaimed, smiling and feeling proud and excited for him.

He smiled weakly. Something was troubling him.

"I know, that's why I said you could call it good news" He explained, taking a seat on one of his chairs. "But it's not that easy"

"Is it for Haneul?" Rowoon asked. Rocky immediately ran his fingers through his hair and exhaled, letting us know the answer was yes.

"You can obviously say" He responded, leaning forward and placing his head between his hands.

"Bro, what's wrong with her? I mean... She would support you"

He looked up and we locked eyes when he heard my words. He wasn't convinced at all, and he knew her better than us anyways.

"I... It's not only that. I just can't leave her"

"But this is your dream" Rowoon interfered. Rocky groaned.

"She is the love of my life. We've been together for four years, I can't just throw her away"

We kept silent for a moment. None of us were sure of what to say. He had a point, and he was obviously in the middle of a tough situation.

"Does she know?"

"Not yet"

"Then why don't you just tell her and see?"

"I will tell her, obviously, but I think the biggest problem it's me. Even if she supported me, I just don't want to leave her."

"There must be a way to make it work" Rowoon added, scratching the back of his neck.

"Or you could just go and she can wait. You can come and visit her on holidays"

"What if I ask her to marry me?"

My eyes widened at his comment. I knew how much they loved each other, but that was something too serious to just do it without thinking.

"Isn't that a bit too extreme? You're only 20, Rocky, don't rush it" I said, hoping my words wouldn't make him angry.

He stood up from his seat and walked to his window, ruffling his hair and groaning in frustration.

"I know. I just don't know what I'll do. I'll have to think about that"

"How much time do you have left to decide?" Rowoon asked. Rocky turned his body and looked at us.

"About three months"

"I'm sure you'll be able to find a way until then" I assured him, standing up and palming his shoulder.

"Can I ask you something?"

I nodded.

"What is it?"

"If she doesn't support me, if we break up, or if I have to go and make her wait... If I'm not able to be around her, would you promise me you will take care of her?"

His request took me by surprise. Rocky wasn't someone who would just ask or say stuff like that. He was clearly worried, and even though none of us could understand why he was making it bigger than it was, maybe he felt something within him. I didn't really know how to take it, but he was my best friend and if he needed me to feel more at ease, that's what  I was going to do.

"Of course. I promise." I smiled.

He looked into my eyes, his usual serious expression was even more firm this time. It could send chills down your spine, he could be really intimidating even though he was a softie on the inside.

"Yeonjun please, no matter where I go or what I do, never leave her on her own. If I can't be the one who will take care of her, there's no one I could trust more than you to do so. She is everything to me, and I would never forgive myself if she's alone and suffering"

My smile vanished. I don't know what was going through his mind and it even made me nervous. That wasn't his normal self, but even if I asked him about that, he wouldn't tell me everything he had in his mind.

"I swear it, Rocky. I'm sure everything will be alright and you won't have to worry, but I do. I promise if you leave I will take good care of her"

He finally smiled, and wrapped me in a friendly hug, palming my back.

"Thank you"

I smiled at him and nodded. Rowoon stood up and placed his hands on our shoulders.

"Are we all okay now?"

"We are" I said. "Now just enjoy your anniversary and we can talk about that later" I responded.

Rowoon smirked.

"And my birthday is next week, so we can go and get some drinks to relax. You can take her as well"

My eyes widened.

"Oh no, hyung"

Rowoon tilted his head.

"What?"

"I can't go, my family is having a dinner that day and if I refuse to go my mom would go crazy"

"Ahh that's a shame" He said, dissappointed.

"I'm sorry hyung, but I'll make it up to you"

"So that means I'll be thirdwheeling again" He rolled his eyes, making us chuckle.

"We're not that cheesy" Rocky said. Rowoon and I stared at him, raising our eyebrows. He just laughed.

"It's okay we'll have fun. You better have a good idea for after, Yeonjun"

"I will hyung"

"Okay now let's play some videogames" Rowoon said, exiting the room and walking downstairs.

I was about to follow him, but Rocky stopped me.

"I forgot to ask, what happened with Haneul today?"

I giggled.

"It was nothing, I'm sure she's going to tell you soon, don't worry" I responded, palming his shoulder and walking out of the room, leaving him confused.

Haneul's POV:

I was sitting on my bed finishing my homework for the next day. I had made a few calls and I managed to make a reservation for a dance class on Sunday for our anniversary. Just the thought of us having such a romantic and intimate moment made my stomach flip. I was excited, I couldn't believe we had been together for four years.

Four years since he stole my heart when I saw him dacing. Four years since he gained the courage to ask me out, four years since we had our very first kiss.

We had grown together, we had been through so much. To say I loved him was an understatement, cause I was pretty sure he was my other half. He was sweet, caring, loyal, smart, funny. He was there for me when no one else was, he never asked me for anything but love in return.

I still didn't know what I had done to deserve him, I honestly thought no one did. He was too good for me or anyone. But somehow he was mine and I was his, and I was really happy.

Now thanks to Yeonjun I could spend a different day doing something I didn't know how to do well, but that he loved, and that was all that mattered to me. I wanted to see him happy, and I know he would be.

Who would've thought that Yeonjun was so good with romantic stuff?
