After a long while trying to persuade Haneul to go to school, she kept refusing and Yeonjun had no choice but let her be, and go on his own.

Still tired, and not really motivated to do anything, he entered the campus and walked across the hallways with his bag on his shoulder. He kept trying to convince himself that going to school would at least help him to keep his mind busy for a while.

His first class was about to start. He grabbed one of his books from his locker and started making his way to his classroom just when someone called out his name.

"Yeonjun!"

He stopped on his tracks and turned his head to see where that voice came from, and that's when he saw her. Long, straight jet black hair, pale skin and a pair of dimples on her cheeks. She smiled gently at him, and started walking next to him.

"Oh, Wendy. Hello" He warmly greeted her, a slight smile on his lips.

Wendy tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and pressed the books she was holding even more against her chest. Yeonjun could notice a subtle blush on her cheeks with his pheripheral vision. He kept walking and looking ahead, but she kept staring down at her feet.

"I-I um... I heard what happened with your friend Rocky" She finally said "I'm really sorry"

Yeonjun sighed, feeling nostalgic.

"Thank you. It's been tough"

She nodded.

"And... How are you feeling?"

"Is that a serious question?" He thought to himself. He didn't want to seem rude, the girl was nothing but nice to him all the time, but that was for sure an innecesary question to ask.

"Uh, well... I'm trying to proccess it" He responded, scratching the back of his neck "It's going to take a while"

They stopped walking as soon as he found his classroom. However, she seemed to have more to say. Yeonjun noticed her nervousnes and couldn't help but giggle. It was cute.

"I understand" She muttered "I-I... I just wanted to say that if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you" She smiled "And I can also help you with the stuff you've missed from school"

Yeonjun subtly smiled, nodding at her.

"Thank you, Wendy. That's very nice of you" He said, making the girl smile "I have to go to class, I'll see you later"

Nodding enthusiastically, Wendy waved at him.

"See you" She said, turning on her heels and walking away.

Yeonjun snorted, turning around and entering the room. The day was just starting and he already wanted it to end.

Wendy went across the corridors jumping before she entered the bathroom and looked at herself in front of the mirror. Her cheeks were pink and hot. Her heart was racing and she couldn't help but cover her mouth and let out high pitched screams. She was grateful no one was around, because she for sure looked like a fool.

The truth is, she was extremely excited. She had been trying to get close to Yeonjun for a long while and she was finally seeing the results of her efforts. There was no way she would give up on something she had dreamed for so long. He was handsome, sweet, talented and really really cool. A lot of girls wanted him, but not many had the courage to approach him and she promised herself that she would make the difference.

And wouldn't let anyone get in her way.

Classes were over. Yeonjun walked out of his classroom, going to the dance room where he always practiced with his late best friend. As soon as he walked through the door, his chest felt heavy, it was such a weird, uncomfortable and painful feeling to be there, the place where he always did what made him happy, where he shared the same passion with Rocky.

He closed the door behind him, throwing his backpack to the ground. The place was empty, all he could hear was his own footsteps on the wooden floor until he saw his reflection in the big mirror. He looked exhausted, pale, and even thinner. He had bags under his eyes for the lack of sleep, and his bright blue hair was a bit messier than usual.

He took a deep breath, then exhaled. He kept thinking about the reason why he was there... To get rid of the stress, to drain his pain, to lessen the distress. He knew he could use the music and his body to express how much he was suffering, the anger that he was keeping bottled up inside. He needed it, he wanted to dance... Even though he could feel the heaviness of Rocky's absence filling the whole room.

He prepared the music player, loud enough to stop hearing his own thoughts. He warmed up, and then, he started dancing with all his might.

His body moved smoothly at the rhythm of the beat, letting his passion take over him.

As he danced, he started remembering his best friend.

Flashbacks

"Rocky, your feet are bleeding"

"I'm okay, don't tell anyone"

"But you're hurt, we need to tell the teacher"

"No, please Yeonjunie, don't tell the teacher... If you do, they won't let me practice, and if I don't practice I can't be the best dancer in the world"

"But you're great!"

"I'm still not good enough, I need to practice more"

"But we're just 9, you can practice later, let's just go to the playground"

"No, I can't. If you don't tell the teacher I'll let you borrow my Nintendo"

"Okay"

Yeonjun kept dancing, sweat running down his neck and face. He pressed his eyes shut when his memories made an uncalled appearance.

"She cheated on me with Yuta... That Japanese contemporary dancer"

"She wasn't worth it, you're better than that"

"I was never good enough, Yeonjun, now I need to get better... So maybe... I can deserve someone to love me"

Yeonjun's breath started to get ragged. He had been dancing non stop for at least three tracks in a row. It was getting harder to catch his breath, but he didn't want to stop, the pain was trying to take control of him.

"The girl that always comes to see me... Her name is Haneul. I think I like her more than I thought"

"Then just ask her out, you fool"

"There's no way she would want to go out with me for real. I won't. I don't want to be rejected"

"Why do you think she would reject you? Don't you think she comes to see you for a reason? like interest?"

"Maybe she just likes the way I dance, that doesn't mean she likes me"

"She obviously likes you. I've seen the way she looks at you. You're either too blind or too stupid to realize"

"I'm not sure about that"

"Listen, if you don't ask her out, I'll ask her out instead"

"Don't you dare"

"You've been warned"

Yeonjun's heartbeats were as loud as the music itself. He was panting and drenched in sweat. His head was hurting, his muscles kept tensing. He didn't care. No pain was compared to his memories.

"I think I love her"

"I know. I'm glad you're oficial now. Why don't you just tell her?"

"I'm scared"

"Being scared isn't an option. I'm sure she won't hurt you like seoyeon did. You'll be okay"

"Then... How can I impress her?"

"I'll help you out"

"I don't know what I'd do without your smarty romantic ass"

"Watching all those kdramas with my mother had to be of help at some point"

Yeonjun finally let his body fall on the ground. He was trying to catch his breath, with his arms over his eyes. It was of help somehow. It always was.

"You're the best friend I could've asked for. No homo".

"You are my brother, Minhyuk"

"So are you, Yeonjun"

Yeonjun stood up, grabbed a bottle of water and drank it in one sip. He looked at himself once again, with his brows knitted together. Determination hit him, and he ran towards his backpack, grabbing his phone to make a call.

"Hello?"

"Taehyun, it's Yeonjun"

"Hi hyung, I heard about Rocky... I'm sorry"

"Thank you" He paused "I need you to do me a favor"

"Sure, meet me at the computer lab"

With that, he hung up the phone. He grabbed a clean towel from his bag to dry his sweat. He stood up again and threw his bag over his shoulder, exiting the room.

Haneul was on his mind this time. He was wondering how she was, if she had eaten, if she was scared. However, this was something he had promised her he would do, and he was a man of word.

He opened the door and saw Taehyun sitting in front of one of the computers. He turned his head and smiled at Yeonjun when he saw him, and Yeonjun did the same. When he approached Taehyun, they shook their hands and Yeonjun sat beside him.

"So, what can I do for you, hyung?"

Yeonjun, still exhausted, tried his best to catch his breath to talk. Taehyun looked at him with concern.

"Are you okay? You look terrible"

Yeonjun nodded.

"Yeah, don't worry" He assured him, Taehyun nodded "See... Rocky's girlfriend lost her phone in the accident. She had a lot of videos and photos of him, and she really wants them back. I told her I could do that for her, do you think there's a way of getting all that back?"

Taehyun smiled.

"Sure thing" He shrugged "I'm just going to need her email address and phone number" He explained "Does she have a new phone?"

Yeonjun shook his head.

"Not yet"

Taehyun nodded.

"Okay, no problem. I can give it to her in a pendrive or something. I think it'll be ready in two days after you get me the information"

"Sure, I'll text you when I get it, and thank you, really" Yeonjun smiled.

"Of course, hyung" He smiled back "How have you been? I didn't know Rocky hyung too much, but he was a nice guy"

Yeonjun sighed.

"I've been... Okay, I guess. It's been tough anyways. For now, I'm more worried about Haneul than myself"

Taehyun looked at him confused, tilting his head.

"How so? You need to take care of yourself as well"

"She has no one. I promised him I would take care of her if he wasn't around"

"I understand that, hyung, but... If you ever need to vent, you know I'm here, and the other boys are too. Your feelings also matter"

Yeonjun smiled.

"Thank you. Let's make some plans so we can have a video games day"

"Sure!"

Yeonjun stood up again, and Taehyun looked up at him.

"I have to go buy something. Thank you again for this Taehyun, I'll see you later"

Taehyun bowed.

"See ya, hyung"

With that, Yeonjun walked out of the room and left the campus. He knew Haneul would probably feel upset about what he was going to do, but he didn't mind. It was for her, and it was needed. He was worried, so after he finished with that, he would go to check on her.

Just like he promised.
