        Maddison Thompson had been recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D just after Clint Barton was, she was one of the other people looking after the tesseract when Loki ― the god of mischief stole it, and brainwashed her best friend ― only she managed to get away from the god. 

It was at that point that she had been recruited for the avengers initiative just after Loki was caught, since she knew how to work with knifes, and hand to hand combat she was put in the team. 

Maddison trained, and trained a lot to keep up with all of the other team members ― including Steve Rogers, who she had a huge crush on but she didn't let on but that was until Agent Coulson died at the hands of Loki. 

Now, Maddison is in the grieving process ― but she still has missions to go on and people to save but Steve tries to be there for the best that he can ― while trying not to fall for the young blonde girl anymore than he already had.
