It had been two weeks. Two weeks since your best friend had stopped talking to you. No explanation or apology. Not even a smile! Finally, you've had enough. You saw Nico acting normal with all of his other friends- Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, and Leo, but you didn't exist- or at least, not to him.

So one night, during your free period before lights out, you made your way over to his cabin. You knocked, and when he opened his door you stormed in and plopped yourself on one of the bunks. Nico looked astonished. "Y/N, what are you doing here? I didn't think I would see you again."

You yelled, "Oh, so just because I know you're a son of Hades means I never get to talk to you again?! What in Tartarus, Nico! I mean, you're the same person you've always been! I don't care if you're a son of Hades! I wouldn't care if you were the son of a freaking Minotaur! Thats completely and totally irrelevant to the fact that we're friends!" You finished with an angry huff and prepared to storm out of the cabin again, only to find an ice-cold hand grip yours.

"Y/N... the only reason I stayed away from you is that I thought that you wouldn't like me, because my dad's.. well, because he's Lord of the Dead. I thought you were creeped out by me, so I stayed away."

You snort. "And who gave you that idea, a bronze bull? You pig-headed idiot, Nico! Are you really so dense that you don't know when someone has a crush on you?" Oh Styx, what did I just say?! "So now I'm gonna go..." you say, edging out the door.

Nico grins. "Before you go..." he kisses you on the lips. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!"
