Sorry to anyone who's reading this for putting 2 Leo X Readers in a row, but I just had a brain wave. :)

You frown. Where in Tartarus was Leo? He had told you to go to the brink of the forest- so here you stood, hoping desperately to not get stood up on your first date. "Hi (Y/N)," you hear from behind you.

You exhale with relief. "Hi Leo!"

"Come on, lets go now."

As you walk through the forest, holding hands with him, you see Leo looking a little jittery. "Hey Leo, you okay?" you said, reaching up to touch his face.

Apparently physical contact, other than the hand holding, was too much for Leo, because his hand, the one holding yours, catches on fire. "Ow!" you gasp, and jerk your hand away.

"Oh my gods, (Y/N), I'm so sorry, I hurt everyone, and you should just stay away from me!"

He disappeared into the woods. You thought about attempting to follow him, but decided he probably wanted some alone time right now, but resolved to check on him the next day.

The next day, Leo wasn't there at breakfast or lunch, which was unlike the Leo you knew. As soon as you got a free period, you rushed off to Bunker Nine, where you hoped to find him and persuade him to come back.

AS you approached Bunker Nine, you heard soft, heartbroken sobbing. You peeked inside. Leo was there, sitting dejectedly at a tool bench. He listlessly slipped some tools out of his tool belt, tinkered with them, and shoved them onto the ground. "What's the point?" he whispered dejectedly, but not so soft that you couldn't hear him. "I'm bad luck, a curse. I break everything. Festus, the Argo II, my relationship with (Y/N). There's no point in trying anymore."

Listening to him, you felt your heart break and shatter. You couldn't believe he thought this way. Unable to stand it any longer, you ran inside. His eyes widened at the sight of you, but quickly looked away. "Y/N, please, for your safety, go away. I hurt everyone I touch."

That was too much for you. You stormed over to him and jabbed your finger into his chest. "You know what, Super Sized McShizzle? The only time you ever hurt me was when you ran away from me. That's the only way you'll ever hurt me- by leaving me. So if you care for me as much as you claim to, you'll come back to me and never leave me again. You hear me?"

During your monologue, Leo had listened with growing happiness. As you finished, he stood at attention and shouted, "Ma'am, yes Ma'am!"

You cracked up and gave him a peck on the lips. He stared at you incredulously, but soon gave you a cheeky grin. "Is that date till on?" he asks.

You nod. "Well then," he smirks, "What are we waiting for?'

As you are swept off your feet by the funny, charming, and incredibly sweet Leo Valdez, your future is uncertain, but one thing is clear: No matter what happens in life, nothing short of death will keep Leo Valdez from being by your side.
