"JUMP!"
"This is the worst plan ev- AAAHHH!"
Grover had pushed you out of the taxi. Before you could start cursing at him, the ground rushed up to meet you, specifically your nose. "Ow!"
... Was your nose supposed to be at that angle?
Before you could consider this, or the pain that was creeping in at the edges of your vision, threatening to take over, a new threat appeared.
The hellhound appeared, red eyes showing malice and lust, huge maw salivating in anticipation of a new kill.
Stumbling backwards, your hands fumbled behind you for something- anything- that would defend you.
Your fingers closed around an old, rotting, branch. You grasped it firmly, pulled it up, and swung at the hellhound, giving it a crack on the snout that would've been a home run is baseball. Too bad you didn't play.
"Y/N!" Grover appeared beside the hellhound. "RUN!"
The hellhound cocked its head to examine the newcomer, pupils dilating in a feral way. It picked up Grover in its teeth and shook him none too gently, letting go only to fling him against the tree.
Well, this just got a lot harder.
By yourself, alone, it'd still take a whole lot of luck to get to this 'safe place' that Grover had mentioned. But with an unconscious goat boy? You were as good as dead.
If I go down, I'm going down fighting. You raised your stick-club (A/N: Coach Hedge much?) and prepared yourself for one final, futile charge, one that'd almost certainly end in certain death.
Then, a bronze, glowing, leaf-tipped sword pierced the beast's belly, and it gave a strangled yelp and turned into sulfurous dust that was swept away by the wind.
The owner of the sword gave you a once-over. "Where's your satyr?"
"Oh, um... you mean Grover? He's right over there."
The boy's features relaxed a bit, sea-green eyes softening. "We were wondering what was taking Grover so long."
He slung Grover over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He began to trudge up the hill. "We need to get you and Grover to the infirmary. Your nose needs to be set."
"Whoa, whoa whoa!" You ran in front of him. "Where're we going?"
He gave you a long, searching look. "To the only safe place for people like us. Welcome to Camp Demigod."

"Okay, so the Greek Gods are real."
"Check."
"You guys had a war with Kronos that caused all those storms two summers ago."
"Check."
"And then you learned about the existence of both Roman and Greek campers, nearly killed each other, and saved the world from Mother Earth?"
"Y'know, it sounds really weird when you say it that way."
"And you think that I am one of these people?"
"That's basically it, really."
"Oookaaayyy, then."
"Tell me your story."
"My story?"
"Yeah, like your name, school, home life, and so on."
"That reminds me. What's your name?"
"Oh, me? I'm Percy Jackson. Now, back to the story."
"Well, my name is Y/N, I've been diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. I've actually been kicked out of sixteen schools..."
He nodded like this wan't unusual. "Keep going."
"Um... it's just my mom and me. My mom said that my dad wanted to stay with us but he couldn't, but he'd see me again someday. I have no siblings, and all the relatives on my mom's side are dead."
Percy nods, clearly thinking hard. "Anything... weird happen in your life?"
"I once accidentally blew up my science lab, this really old lady started following me around, calling me mistress, shadows have sometimes seemed to follow me, sometimes, rocks and other metals will appear from the earth in my path... but the one thing that really is the worst is that I've always been able to talk to ghosts. One in particular, her name's Bianca di Angelo. She's my best friend."
Percy's face went bone white. "Did you say... Bianca di Angelo?"
"Um, yeah. She likes to play Mythomagic, says that her brother loved it. She has an olive green cap, a dark braid, and gives off this kind of silvery glow - do you know her? She said that if I wanted to talk to her, I just had to pull this charm and she'd come." You hold up the silver bracelet.
"Hades," he gasps. "Definitely Hades."
"C'non." he grabs your wrist. "We need to talk to Nico, now."
"Who the heck is Nico?" you ask, allowing yourself to be lead along.
"He's another child of Hades. We need to talk to him about Bianca."

Percy runs up to an obsidian cabin, decorated with flaming-green torches and skulls- ominous and creepy. "NICO!" he yells banging on the door. "We need to talk."
The door creaks open, and a pale-skinned boy with dark, fire-filled eyes steps out. "What is it, Jackson?"
"You've got a new sister," he replies.
Before he can size you up, he adds one thing that seems to make him grind to a screeching halt. "And she claims she can see ghosts- and her best friend is a girl called Bianca di Angelo."
"What?!" The boy- Nico, springs at you. "What does she look like? Has she ever mentioned a brother?"
"I-um-," you back up, trying to stem his questions. "She has olive skin, and she has freckles. She wears her hair in a braid, and she has a floppy olive-green cap. She said she had a younger brother- but she wouldn't tell me his name. All she said was that he loved to play Mythomagic, and was obsessed with collecting all of the cards."
"No- no- no." He paces back and forth wildly. "This can't be right. She told me she was going for rebirth- she told me she was! She was my sister! She wouldn't lie- she wouldn't-"
A girl with coffee skin, golden eyes, and dark curly hair ran up, accompanied by a buff, Chinese person. "Nico, what's wrong?" She turned to you and Percy, and you were stunned by the spitfire in her eyes. "What did you do?"
"Hazel, don't kill the new girl please." Percy stepped up in a meditator position. "She's... well she's your sister too. I think she got a little bit of both of your gifts- she can see ghosts. She says she's talked to Bianca di Angelo."
Hazel turns to you and offers her hand. "What's your name?"
"Y/N, and do you want me to call Bianca here?"
Nico's head whips towards you. "You can do that?"
You lift your wrist and show him your bracelet. "Bianca gave me this and said to pull the bow and arrow charm if I ever need her."
"Please, pull it." Hazel interjects softly.
You gently tug on the silver bracelet, and almost immediately, a silvery spirit papers. Bianca.
Your new brother staggers forward, choking back a sob. "Bianca..."
Bianca looks at him gently, a veil of tears creeping over her eyes. "Hello, Nico."
"I've missed you."
I'm sooooo sorry for not updating :( Hopefully this makes up for it!!!! I've got a few requests so the story might not continue unbroken. Thanks for understanding, and remember:
