When I come to, my head feels like it's on fire. I groan and open my eyes. I flip my hair out of my face and look at the room. It is mostly wooden with beds pushed up against the wall. Where did those jerks take me?

I get up and put my boots on. My hands work quickly, after I lace the boots, I run out of the room. The sun shines in my eyes as I run. People shoot me weird looks but I don't care.

I see tall trees on the outsides of the clearing. My feet pound against the dirt and I make a break for it.

"Stop her!" someone shouts. I sprint harder, desperately trying to escape. I feel people running behind me but I don't look behind me. If I look behind me, I will slow down, loosing my advantage.

I reach the woods. I look back now, making sure there is no one following close behind me. I feel a hand grab my wrist and I am pulled behind a tree. A hand is pressed to my mouth.

"Be quiet," the person says. I stop trying to scream. He smiles, and takes his hands off my mouth. Then, I recognize the guy. It is Cole.

"Hey," I smile. He smirks.

"Leaving so soon?" he asks. I laugh.

"Why would I stay?" I ask.

"Because I'm going to show you something that will make you stay," he says and wraps his arms around my waist.

"Um..." I say. Suddenly, we shoot up into the air. I scream and cling to his shoulders. He laughs. I gasp for air and close my eyes, resting my head against his shoulder. After a while, I feel my feet touch the ground, I reel back drunkenly, and hit a tree.

"Calm down," Cole says.

"You were...you just...how?" I stutter. He laughs.

"Come on, this is what I want to show you," he says. I hesitantly follow. When we reach the clearing, I gasp. I see the Percy guy and what looks like an older version of Percy.

"Jade," Cole says, "this is your dad."

"Hello Jade," the man says. I gasp.

"No, not possible, I'm an orphan," I claim. He shakes his head.

"Stop living in the past, Jade, you know it's true," he says. I shake my head rapidly.

"It's not true. It's not true. It's not true!" I scream. I back up and breath heavily.

"Jade..." Cole cautiously steps towards me. I look at his cheek. There is no cut on his cheek. I'll have to ask him about that. I wonder how...

Stupid ADHD, I think. I hate it.

My eyes well with tears and I look at the man with a straight face.

"You may be my biological father, but you will never be half the father I wanted, and you will never be a quarter of the father the Doctor has been to me," I spit at him. He flinches away.

"You think that fool is your 'father'," he laughs at me. "That man doesn't care about you and he never will. He will just toss you aside like everyone else he befriends."

I feel the tears over, but I make no attempt to hide them.

"Ah, you know that's not true," a voice calls out. I turn to see the Doctor. "Come on, Poseidon, you know I love Jade like my own." I smile through my tears.

"That's not true you stupid Lord of Time," Poseidon says.

"He's smarter than you," I say.

"Jade, let me explain something to my buddy Poseidon. Hey you, um, blond fella."

"Cole," Cole says.

"Cole, wonderful name. Take Jade back to the camp, please." He turns towards me. "Jade, I'll see you in a minute." With that, Cole grabs my wrists and pulls me off the ground and into the air.
