It was then that two arms wrapped around Madi from behind, hugging her tightly against their chest. Madi flailed around for a moment, struggling to escape, and looked over to the crowd to see who was missing. Because if she found out who was missing from the audience, then she'd know who was holding her in a vice-grip. 

Leo, Em, Raph, Lisa, Splinter, Jacob, Samantha-

"Donnie! No cheating!" Madi shouted and laughed, then elbowed him in the stomach and flipped him over her in a forward motion. Donnie landed with a loud 'THUD' on his shell and looked up at Madi, who was grinning down at him. He opened his mouth to say something but was interupted by Raph, who had taken the same path of attack as Donnie had and wrapped his arms around Madi from behind.

But Raph had learned from his brother's mistake.

Just as Madi was about to send her elbow straight into his plastron, he stepped to the side in a kneel and pulled Madi back by her shoulders, holding her in a strange version of a dip. They paused for a moment as he looked down at her and she looked up at him. He gave her a small, nervous smile that she returned with a swipe of her right foot. She locked it behind his knee to keep her balance, and sent her left knee-cap into his chest. His eyes bulged and he let out a loud gasp as the air left his lungs.

Staggering back and releasing her shoulders, Madi leaned into a back walkover that she repeated three times to distance herself from her attackers. She stood at an angle so she could see both the Turtles and the audience, who were drawn in by the sudden change of events, just to make sure that she was warned if anyone else decided to join the party. But no one else got up from their seats.

After regaining himself, Raph looked over at Madi and got into a fighting stance. Madi did the same.

"I'll admit, you've gotten good." Raph stated with a winded smirk.

"I'd say that's putting it lightly." She replied and ran at him and drew her clenched fist back, appearing to be winding up for a punch. Raph held his hand up to block, but that's what Madi had been expecting. She grabbed onto his wrist, spun around so her back was pressed against his plastron, and pulled down. With a shout of shock, Raph flew over Madi's shoulder and landed with a 'THUMP' on the floor. Yeah, he had learned from Donnie's previous mistake.

That didn't mean his shell wasn't going to end up on the mat.

"Booyakasha!" Mikey's voice erupted behind her. She quickly spun around to face him and dipped her head back, his nunchaku zipping through the air inches from her nose. Madi shot her hand up and grabbed the metal chain of Mikey's nunchucks. With a swift yank of the chain, she pulled Mikey towards her. The momentum of his body shooting forward caused him to stagger, but he made up for that by reaching his arms out and wrapping his hands around Madi's wrists. The added weight of Mikey propelling towards her caught her off guard. She would've side-stepped out of the way if he hadn't gotten a hold of her, but that was too late now. They were going down.

As they were falling back, Madi quickly pulled her knees up into her chest and pressed her feet up against Mikey's stomach, then braced herself for the impact of the floor. The mat smacked against her spine and skull so hard that she saw dark spots around the edges of her eyesight. But she didn't let that stop her. As soon as Mikey was on top of her, she straightened her legs with all the strength she had, sending him up towards the ceiling. Quickly while he was in mid-air, she rolled to the side and out of the way. 

"Oh nooo!" Mikey squealed as gravity shoved him down into the sparring mat, landing flat on his face.

"Teishi!" Master Splinter's voice rang out. Everyone's attention was drawn away from the fight and to the giant mutant rat who stood next to the mat, his staff cast aside. Stop! Madi jumped to her feet and he gave her a small evil grin. "Tabun sore wa muzukashiku, aite no tame no jikandesu." Perhaps it is time for a harder opponent. Madi smirked.

"Anata wa anata ga appu tasukuda yoroshidesu ka?" She replied with a question. Are you sure you're up to the task? The Turtles' jaws dropped when they realized that Madi could now fluently speak Japanese. 'Does this mean she understood my letter?' Donnie thought while he, Mikey, and Raph walked over to the side to watch his sensei and their friend fight.

Madi barely had time to block her sensei's attacks when they began. He was faster than he had been when they had trained earlier at their private grotto. But she still kept up with him as she blocked each punch and avoided each kick. She lept over her foot when he had tried to knock her down, then began to return the attacks.

"Woah." Mikey said in awe as they all watched the two spar. Anger and jealousy began to fill Leonardo's heart.

"He hasn't taught us that." Leo stated when Madi avoided one of Splinter's punches by sliding past his fist, grabbing his arm, pulling herself up and over his shoulder, and rolling down his back in one fluent chain of motion. It hit them like a brick to the gut when Donnie, Mikey, and Raph realized that Madi had been going easy on them during their half of the sparring match.

"You mean he hasn't taught you that." Mikey corrected, his usual smile on his face. "You're just jealous because she could obviously kick your shell now."

"She sure kicked ours." Raph stated and rubbed the spot where her knee had made contact with his plastron. The red-masked turtle knew that that spot was going to be sore for a while, he'd have to ice it after the match between Madi and Splinter. He didn't want to miss any of the battle between the two just for an ice-pack.

"Come on, Madi!" Jacob shouted.

"You got this in the bag, Madness!" April cheered.

Splinter currently had Madi in a tight grip with his arm wrapped around her torso, pinning her arms to her sides. She tossed and tugged, squirmed and wiggled, but it didn't seem like she was going to escape this one. Yes, she was good. But Splinter was still twice her size and even stronger than her. Madi wouldn't be able to get out of this one.

"Mada jubun ni atta?" Had enough yet? Madi sighed and stopped struggling.

"Fain." She huffed. Fine. Splinter released her from his grasp and smiled down at her. Even though Madi had lost, April, Jacob, and the Turtles still shouted their heads off for her, cheering. Yes, she had lost, but she had lasted even longer against Splinter than Leo had.

And the turtle was definitely aware of that.
