Madi and Leo talked for over an hour about Space Heroes and Captain Ryan, discussing the realism of the story and the people, before Mikey finally decided that he was done playing with Sam and wanted to talk about pizza with their new friend. Madi just smiled as Mikey stole her away to the kitchen, where he told her about all the different kinds of pizza he had tried over the time he had known about the amazing food. He even showed her the secret recipe to his special 'pizza soup'. She in turn told him about her 'secret-ingredient' pizza that she and her father used to make. When he asked her what the secret ingredient was, she just shrugged.

"My dad died before he could tell me. All I know is that it had something to do with the sauce." she stated. Mikey groaned and propped his elbows on the table, resting his chin in his hands, a bummed expression on his face. But, a few seconds later, his eyes lit up and a grin appeared on his lips. He grabbed Madi by her shoulders.

"What if we found out what it was by experimenting? We could mix a bunch of stuff together until we get the secret ingredient right! Just like Donnie does with the gunk in his lab!" Mikey suggested happily. Madi thought for a second, wondering if this was such a good idea. But then a smirk appeared on her face.

"I don't know if you're up to the challenge. Do you think you can do it, Pizza Mike?" Madi asked him, giving him a nickname that she figured would suit him. He gasped, putting his hand over his heart in a mock-shocked expression.

"Do you know who you're talking to, Madster? Where I come from, everyone calls me the 'Pizza King'."

"No one calls you that." Leo said as he punched the punching-dummy that hung from the ceiling in between the living room and the kitchen. Mikey glared at him and folded his arms.

"Well, people would if you guys were as clever as me when it comes to nicknames!" Mikey huffed back at his older brother. Madi couldn't help but giggle. The sibling love between the brothers was strange, weird, adorable, and funny all at the same time to her. Bringing attention back to the matter at hand, she cleared her throat and put the most serious expression on her face as she could.

"Alright, Pizza Mike. But if we attempt to complete this challenge, then failure is not an option. This is do or die." she said, her hands flat against the table-top as she stared across from Mikey. He copied her expression and stance, leaning forward slightly in the process.

"Hey, if you can't take the heat, Madster, then stay out of the kitchen." Mikey said, like he was accusing her of not being capable to help him figure out the secret ingredient. Madi scoffed and rolled her eyes, then continued to battle Mikey in this stare-down, replying.

"Challenge accepted. Let's do this."

Six hours later, the turtle and the teenage girl were stuffed with pizza sauce. They had tried many different spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables, and even different beverages in the sauce. Madi even recalled using sprinkles and taffy in one batch. But, sadly, they still hadn't found the secret ingredients. Madi was laying flat on her back on the cold hard floor, while Mikey was resting on his stomach on top of the kitchen table, his head hanging off one end lazily and his feet hanging off the other. At the same time, they let out a loud moan of pain as they held their stomachs. Bowls filled with tomato sauce and other ingredients sat around them on the kitchen counter, stove, and even the floor. Next to Madi, Sam was licking one of those bowls clean, a large blob of pizza sauce on the dog's snout.

Madi was sleepy from all of the food she had eaten and almost fell asleep, her eyes starting to flutter shut. Mikey let out a loud yawn, indicating that he was in the same boat as her on the subject. But before either one could fully drift off, multiple loud gasps filled the air and Madi's eyes opened. Looking to her right, she saw Leo, Raph, and April with their mouths hanging open.

"We were so close." Mikey whined, rolling onto the back of his shell so that he was facing the ceiling, then letting out another groan of stuffed-agony.

"Madi, what the heck happened in here?" April asked in shock as she looked around the kitchen, seeing the bowls filled red goop, one of them was even bubbling from an unidentifiable substance the two had thrown into it just to see if it would explode or not.

"We were trying to find the secret ingredient....." Mikey said before Madi could speak. April's eyes widened, but then softened with realization. Madi had told her enough times about the best pizza she had ever had in her life that April knew what Mikey was talking about without him even truly explaining. Madi lazily lifted her arm in the direction of the large turtle, pointing her index finger at him, then having her arm flop back to her side.

"It was his idea." she told them, her eyes closed.

"Did you find it?" Raph asked. The two pizza-loving freaks let out another groan. "I'll take that as a 'no'." The red-masked turtle said as he walked to the living room area and sat down on the couch, grabbing the remote and turning the TV on. Leo extended his hand to Madi, while April started to put the dirty dishes in the sink. She took his hand and he helped her to her feet, giving her a small smile in the process.

"Sorry that you went through all this effort and didn't find what you were looking for." Leo said. Madi just nodded, putting on her best fake-smile and went to help April with the dishes. She was genuinely saddened by the fact that they hadn't found the secret ingredient. Madi had missed her father so much that she would've given anything for just one slice of their 'secret-ingredient' pizza.

"Come on, Mikey." Leo grunted as he tried to get Mikey off of the kitchen table while Madi and April washed dishes. The food in the bowls was absolutely disgusting to touch, but Madi knew that someone had to do it and Leo and Mikey were occupied at the moment. While they washed, an evil grin suddenly appeared on her face as she took a dirty spoon Mikey had been using and scooped up a a large portion of the gross pizza sauce. Madi nudged April's shoulder, pointing to the spoon-full of sauce and then gesturing to Raph, who was sitting on the couch with his back to them. April's eyes widened as she realized what Madi was going to do.

April elbowed Leo and Mikey, silently getting their attention as Madi lined up her shot. Once the two other turtles realized what was going on, huge sinister grins appeared on their lips. Keeping one eye closed and squinting with the other, she pulled back on the tip of the spoon.

Then released.
