Grey's POV:

since I didn't live in the pack house Lyla had to drive us there, it was only a ten minute drive. When we got to the mansion like house we followed the sound of music to the back door that lead to the huge indoor pool. The walls of the pool room were literally shaking from the loudness of the music. there were teenagers walking around in swim trunks and bikinis drinking out of red cups that I'm sure were filled with alcohol. Scanning the room again I noticed Blu wasn't here yet.

"Hey Ly, where's Blu" I asked

"He said he was going to be late he had to help his mom out with something" she answered. I noticed she had removed the jeans and shirt she was wearing to expose her blood red bikini.

"Hey Nerd" called the voice of the person I hoped I could avoid all night. I turned toward the voice and saw Nash making his way toward me. I grabbed Lyla's hand and was about walk away but he called out to me.

"Wait Grey I want to apologize, I was angry yesterday morning and you just happened to be near me at the wrong time, I know that's no excuse and I shouldn't have hurt you but I really am sorry" he said sounding sincere, I knew he was telling the truth because he called me by my name something he never did, it was either nerd, geek or loser. I didn't even know he knew my name. maybe he wasn't as bad as I thought he was. But then he took a look at my wardrobe and turned his nose up.

" I'm glad we don't have to see your fat ass in a bathing suit but surely you could have found some better cloths than that" he said then turned and walked away. Yup, he's still an asshole.

I looked up at the giant clock on the wall and noticed it was half an hour before the full moon was to rise, and half an hour before Nash found his mate. Normal wolves found their mates at anytime during or after their sixteenth birthday, but Alpha's had to wait for the moon to rise on their eighteenth birthday.

"Don't listen to him, he's an ass" a deep familiar voice said from behind me. I turned around to face my other best friend Blu.

"Hey Sky, I missed you" I said giving him a giant bear hug.

"I missed you too Rain, even though I just saw you yesterday" he said chuckling.

 Your probably wondering why I call him Sky and he calls me Rain, it started in kindergarten when we thought it was cool to come up with something to describe the color of our names. I picked Sky because that's what he mostly reminded me of, the sky is Blue and beautiful just like him and his name. Blu had dark blue eyes and curly light brown hair, playing football really helped him build that athlete body equipped with a very sexy six pack. In case it wasn't obvious I may or may not have a secret crush on him and id like it to stay like that, a secret. I know he only thinks of me as a friend so I would probably die of embarrassment if he ever found out.

Blu says he decided to call me Rain because Grey reminds him of clouds and when clouds are grey it rains and he loves the rain, so that is what we have called each other since then. Lyla, Blu and I found a table and just sat, talked and joked around. just when we were ready to swim I smelt the most amazing scent ever. It smelt like pine trees and woods. I stood up and started walking towards the mouth watering scent ignoring curious calls from Blu and Lyla.
