Once piper was dressed we sat on the bed in the room that Blu had her on. I decided to start talking her into not screaming everytime Blu got near her, to try and convince her to trust him as she had me.

"Why do you scream everytime Blu comes near you" I ask.

"Blu?" she asks in confusion.

"Yea Blu, the boy who rescued you" I say.

"Hes a guy, I get terrified everytime he comes near me. Im afraid that he might hurt me like the men in my old pack did" she says starting to cry. in pull her into a hug.

"What exactly did the men at your old pack do to you" I ask her. I already knew that they had raped her and beaten her brutally but i wanted to know if she would talk to me about it.

The look she gave me told me that she was nowhere near ready to talk about it so I left it alone.

"Blu would never hurt you, Ive known him all my life hes the sweetest guy you could ever meet. and you know how i know for sure he wouldnt hurt you" I ask pulling back enough to look her in the eyes.

"How" she asks wiping a tear from her cheek

"Hes your mate, he could never hurt you. if your wolf was active you would know it for sure, but maybe if you let him he can help you bring her back" I say pushing the memories of Nash hurting me out of my mind.

Something in her eyes changed, the total fear and helplessness was replaced by a glimmer of hope.

"He's really my mate" she asked.

"He really is, would you like to meet him officially" I ask her "He really wants to meet you, to love you. all you have to do is let him I promise he's harmless" I assure.

"Okay" she agreed quietly.

" Ill be right back, im going to go get him" i tell her before walking out of the room and into Blu's bedroom where he was sitting on his bed listening to music. when he noticed me he quickly shut the music off

"How'd it go" he asked nervously

"Well, I found out that her name is actually Piper" I tell him

"Thats a beautiful name" he said, a love struck look overtaking his features

"I got her into the bath so shes all cleaned up now, she really is a beautiful girl Blu" I tell him

"I knew she would be" he said smiling.

"But thats not all though, whatever the sick bastards in her old pack did to her it seriously fucked up her healing, her wolf is dormant, and her body is covered in painful looking bruises" I told him

He started to shake and i knew he was trying to push his wolf down.

"Calm down Sky, i have good news. she agreed to meet you. But shes terrified of men so if you lose your cool around her she may never trust you" I say trying to cal him down, it worked.

"She wants to meet me ?" he asked hopefully

"She does, come on" I say leading him out of his room to the one that piper was staying in.

When we walked into the room piper just stared at Blu as he took cautious steps toward her.

"Can i sit down" he asked her

she nodded quietly still looking at him, like she was studying his appearence.

"Piper im going to leave now, so you two can get to know each other better okay, your safe here i promise" I tell her.

"You dont have to be afraid of me, I would never hurt you I swear" Blu tells her.

she looks at me and nodds, telling me that it was okay to leave. I left Blu's house happy that I could help him and started on my walk home.I was half way there when Nash's car pulled up beside me.

"Get in. I want to take you somewhere" He said. I gave him a weird look but got in the car anyway.

when I was buckled up and comfortable turned toward him and looked at him curiously.

"Where exactly are we going" I asked. He smiled at me beautifly before he said something I wasnt expecting.

"I am taking you out on our very first date"
