Grey's POV:

I wake up feeling stiff and confused. This is not my room and this uncomfortable lumpy thing is definitely not my bed so where the hell am I. Looking around the white and creepily clean room I remember I'm in the hospital and everything comes flooding back in my brain, the terrible pain I felt, passing out, talking to the the doctors and passing out again. The confused expression on my face quickly turns to one of anger and hurt when I remember who put me here.

I have no idea why the moon goddess paired me with someone like Nash. Everything he has done to me is way past the point of forgiveness. My wolf doesn't want anything to do with him now either. She and I both wish that we could have ended up with Blu as our mate, but the fates seem to hate us and we ended up with an asshole. I can hear the door to my room open and Blu walks in with a relieved and happy smile on his face.

"You really scared us Rain, for a minute there I thought I'd lost you" Blu said pulling a chair up to my bedside

"I'm assuming you already know what happened, I'm a lot stronger than I look Sky" I said giving him a reassuring smile

"I know you are, but that didn't make it any less scary I love you too much to even think about losing you" he said. If only he meant it in another way.

"I love you too Sky and don't worry, I'm not going anywhere it's going to take a lot more than an unfaithful mate to take me down" I said with a smile

"Grey there is something I need to tell you" he says sounding serious and nervous at the same time

"What's wrong, you know you can tell me anything" I say taking his hand in mine and lacing our fingers together

He looks down at our hands and smiles, but before he can say anything the doctor walks in. He tells me that I should be fine now and that I could leave if I wanted to. I got out of the lumpy old hospital bed and walked to the bathroom to get dressed. When I came out Blu was standing by the door waiting for me.

"Can we go for a run, we could go to the pond and then you could tell me whatever it is you wanted to tell me" I say, hazel is really itching to get out

"That sounds great, let's go" he says taking my hand and leading me out of the hospital and into the woods. We both separate so we could change behind the trees. I can hear my bones popping and feel my body morphing to that of my wolf, I love my wolf her fur is beautiful it's ironically grey, just like my name but it's so grey it almost looks silver.

Stepping out from behind the tree I'm faced with Blu' s wolf. His wolf is beautiful also, his jet black fur and piercing blue eyes always seem to captivate me. I playfully nip at his ear and run off towards the pond that's about a mile away. I can hear him chasing after me playfully growling. About five minutes later we run up to the pond and Blu jumps on my back causing us to roll around multiple times. After about a half an our of play fighting we separate to shift back into our human forms.

When we are done we sit at the edge of the pond with our feet in the water, my head resting on Blu' s shoulder.

"I almost forgot, what is it you wanted to tell me" I asked looking up at him

"I love you" he says really quickly

"I know that already I love you too stupid" I say laughing. I hear him sigh and he smiles and shakes his head

"No I mean I LOVE you. I always have and I want to be with you. I want to show you what it's like to be loved properly, all you have to do is let me" he says nervously, like I would actually reject him

I just stare at him wide eyed before the creepiest grin breaks out on my face.
