Venus watched the two chase after each other in the sky from a distance. "Sometimes true love isn't meant to be..." Venus sighed and turned away. Suddenly, a tiny God crash landed in front of her in the sand. The small god pushed himself off the ground and squealed with glee behind the lumps of sand in his mouth. "I saw something!" He said excitedly. "What is it this time?" Venus asked, obviously bored with the conversation.

"While I was up on the sun, I saw a circle of blackness in the middle of a forest! I think we should check it out!" Mercury said with glee. "What does that have to do wi- Oh." Venus cut herself short. "Zeref." Mercury replied. Venus called Lucy and she came to see what was wrong. She stopped and stood in front of them, but completely forgot about the dragon slayer and exceed chasing her.

Natsu rammed into her and they fell in a heap in the sand. "Haha! I win!" Natsu shouted triumphantly. Lucy groaned underneath him and tried to get herself out from under him, so he stood up. "We have a lead!" Mercury shouted. "Mercury knows where Zeref might be hiding." Venus replied calmly. "Zeref..." Natsu growled. "Then let's get going!" Lucy replied cheerfully as she skipped along the beach. "The boat is that way!" Venus yelled, pointing in the opposite direction that Lucy was going. "I knew that!" Lucy sang as she started walking in the other direction.

"When do we attack?" Asked the demon. "Wait. They don't pose a threat to us. We will go as planned. But we will take down Zeref first and foremost." The dark creature beckoned from the shadows. "And with him his brother, the all powerful demon END. Then we will finally be freed from this hell hole once again." The creature gave a hearty laugh that boomed through the room. "The nine demon gates will become all powerful!"
