Alec's point of view~
I sigh and lean against the large oak at the edge of the campus letting the white smoke trail from my lips. I look down at the cig between my fingers but nearly jump out of my skin as I see a small girl coming toward me. I quickly move behind the tree and sigh closing my eyes, fuck...every bloody time! I just wanted to be alone! Was that too much to fucking ask!? I heard her let out a small sigh and she sat. She was in a kind of...old fashion dress. Like the kind's my mum and gran used to wear. I was in a baggy sweatshirt and some jeans I found once I rolled out of bed. She sat and laid out her lunch, gently taking each item out and soon a small note. She read it and frowns a little before crisply folding it once, twice, and third times. She laid it on the ground and set the half of her sandwich. Great....so she wasn't leaving...she was quiet, calm, but she had a sad, almost tired look about her. It...it made me feel a little bad. I saw a small army of ants marking toward the food source she had just presented to them and I slip out. "Ants are gonna get it if you leave it there," I said quietly and my eyes widen. Shit....shit shit shit shit shit! Her eyes widen and she scurries up as I quickly throw down my butt and crushing it out with my heel, "sorry sorry!" I put my hands up and she looked carefully quietly, almost inaudibly that she was sorry and would go. I shake my head fast and frown, "no no! Shit, I'm sorry, you don't have to run off," I mumble and she seems to study me like she was picking every word before she said it, 'W-why aren't you smoking with the other boys?' She asked quietly and I had to keep in a snort, "Those wankers? Give me too much of a bloody headache," I huff and shake my head, sure I saw her smile a little but tried and failed to hide it. I had never been really.. good at social interactions and about now would be the time I just kina... walked off but, I had never seen her before and her quiet demeanor made her more toleratable than most people. "You' re that new girl right? The one that skipping  grades?" I asked and mentally cringed at how stupid I sounded. I saw her sigh a little and instantly thought I had already pissed off yet another person, but she nodes and bites her lip, something she seemed to do a lot when she was nervous, 'Yes, Samantha, Sam,' She nodes and holds her hand out to me. I was a little surprised at first as I didn't really do the whole...physical contact thing but she seemed, nice. I slowly wrap my much larger hand around her own and slowly shake, "Alec..." I said and before any other discussion could commence, the bell sounded for the end of the period. "Sorry I kept you from eating," I mumble quietly as we start back toward the school, 'Oh...it's alright, I wasn't very hungry anyway," She said softly. She honestly sounded like a little mouse, her speech quiet and careful. We walked past the other lads and I heard them whispering and smirk, 'See? Told you Will, didn't I say it wouldn't be long for the freaks to find each other, pay up!' One snickers and nudges his groaning friend, I was used to it, but looking over and seeing her head down and a hurt frown on her face was enough for me, "Oi, Shitheads, we can all hear you, and unlike you lot, she at least has two brain cells she can rub together!" I said and their eyes widen as they scurry away. I huff and shake my head as I look back down at her, seeing slight pink on her ivry cheeks, 'Th....Thank you,' she said quietly and seemed shocked, "Don't mention it, and don't listen to them, they don't even know an F is bad in a class,' i joked and smiled a little making her giggle. "Do you know where you're next class is?"

'Haven't the foggest,' she shakes her head with a shy smile and I chuckle, 'here, I'll show you."
