heathers the tv show looks like shit.

they have a nonbinary person, a plus size girl, a black lesbian?? great!! that's a big step in cinematic history!

but those diverse characters are the villains. we are supposed to hate them. they are evil incarnate. yes, those beautiful diverse characters that have so much potential are going to be terrible people.

and the protagonist?

a fucking white, cis, blonde straight girl. there's nothing wrong with being those things, but it ruins the financial of heathers.

heathers is about the bullies of the school. and a plus size, gender queer and lesbian being bullies? not likely. and the white, cis, blonde straight girl being bullied? even more not likely.

i just want one show where the diverse characters are the good guys. that's not so fucking hard. black jd! hell, genderqueer veronica!

just stop making the minorities the ones to hate, it's exhausting.
