Polar Bear & Bee Bear
This is Polar Bear's goodbye to his, Bee Bear
(Also lets pretend that Bee Bear is NOT a hologram, an his actually THERE [ASO LETS PRETEND THAT THE BEAR WITH THE CAPE WE SEE IN THE LOADING SCREEN {Super Bear} IS IN THIS STORY ALTHOUGH SHE {Yes she, look closely and you'll see eyelashes} IS NOT A CANON CHARACTER. Lets also pretend that the 45 Beeway Lane is a thing 👍!
------------------------------------------------------
Polar Bear's POV
I looked down at all the middle and lower fields. Most Beekeepers where frantically working, others helping their fellow beekeeps out, and very few just hanging around or completing achievements. But that's not what I am concerned about. Bee Bear is leaving, and I only see him once a year, sometimes every four years.
"Hey Pola'," I looked to my left to see Super Bear flying down from the 45 Beeway Lane. "Ya' okay, ya' seem a lil' down." She asks with a concerned look. I looked down to where Bee Bear was. Super looked down to where I was looking and said a faint "Oh".
"Well, I won't do no good if you say up here doing nothin'. At least go down there to talk to him before he goes." Super says putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked at her with slight anger.
"AND WHAT IF I CAN'T? I SPENT ALL THIS TIME UP HERE INSTEAD OF GOING DOWN THERE TO WHERE EVERYONE ELSE IS! HECK, EVEN SCIENCE GOES DOWN THERE FROM TIME TO TIME TO SAG HI! IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE BECAUSE I WASTED ALL THIS TIME JUST TO SAY HI!" Tears started to build up in my eyes as I looked down a clunched my fist into a weak grip.
"And the worst part is-," I started, my voice getting weaker and lower. "And the worst part is that I never really cared about him."
Super Bear's POV
"And the worst part is that I never really cared about him." Polar Bear whimpered softly. I had a both concerned and puzzled look.
"What do ya' mean ya' 'neva' really cared about hi' '?" I said after a minute of processing the information. Polar Bear just let out a shakey sigh.
Third Person (Because I type better this way)
"When we were younger," Polar Bear started. "I didn't really appreciate Bee that much. I would always pish him away. And this is the first time in years I've seen him. I would go down rhere to say 'Hi' like a normal person, but what happened that last time we saw each other, I don't think he would ever forgive me." I explained softly. And just like that, it was now night time. From where the two bears were, they could see some beekeepers walking to their homes to sleep for the night, while other went to follow the Fireflies.
"Just go home Polar, I have a plan. Plus, by tomorrow we still have about 7 hours," Super Bear exclaimed, levitating in place, ready to fly off. Polar Bee gave Super Bear an unsettling look.
"Are you sure?" Polar Bear ask unevenly. Super Bear just gave off one of her brave looks. "Positive. Good night Pola'." Super Bear yelled out, flying back to the 45 Beeway Lane.
There was lots to plan, and very little time to do it.
Bee Bear's POV
"Panda, I have a question," I said, sitting on the edge of my bed. You see, Panda offered to let me stay at his place, because he rarely has guest, and it would help with his socializing skills. Being the chatty person I am, I didn't mind to help. Though, I know I need to be queit from....experience.
"What is it?" Panda asks, looking up from reading the book on his lap to face me. "Has, Polar always been so... distant ever since he came to Bee Swarm?"
Third Person
The question put Panda on an immediate pause as his eues grew slightly wider. Panda knew that both Polar and SB (Science Bear) were both pretty distant, but even SB would give up time to say hi to everyone in the lower fields. Polar would just stay up in the mid way of the upper fields and the Mountain Top. His only company being Super Bear and Onett. Panda would sometimes gaze off to see if Polar would make any movement from his spot.
"Panda?" That was enough to grab Panda out of his thoughts.
"Well, yes Polar has been distant from us all-" Panda was cut off by Bee's dry chuckle. This made Panda confused.
"Polar was always so pushy when we were young. Always pushed me away for every little thing, even for just a 'Hi'. It wouldn't be surprising that he is distant here." Bee says sadly, getting under the covers of his bed.
"What do you mean?" Panda exclaims, wanting to understand more about their past. Bee looked as if he were going to break into tears, but did his best to hold it in.
"Please," Bee started shakenly. "Please, just forget I said anything" Bee begged to Panda.
"But-," Panda started, but was soon cut of by Bee.
"Please," Bee begged again, this time with the tears starting to fall. Panda just let out a tired sigh, and walked over to his bed from where he was sitting.
"Okay, Bee," Panda finally answered after a long pause. A heavy sigh of relief could be heard. "Thanks Panda," Bee said softly before drifting off to sleep. Panda reached over to switch off the lights.
"Good night Bee," Panda said softly, letting the darkness consume him into a dreamless sleep.
Super Bear's POV
I make my way to Onett's house in the 30 Bee Zone. Once I made it to the front of the house I noticed the light were off.
'Strange, unusually he would go to sleep at this time,' I thought as I stepped away from the front door. I then started to levitate, making my way where Shadow Bear is.
"Hey Shadow," I said, levitating upside down. Shadow's ears fluttered a little as he stopped dancing; he tried to hear where I was. After a few seconds, he faced me and waved. "Have ya' seen Onett at all to'day?" I asked, levitating a good distance away from his face. He looked down slightly.
He then used sign language to say, "He just left, said he needed to work in the new update. Something about a new bear, bee, and new I think."
"Welp, that blows my plans to pieces," I muttered in annoyance. Shadow held out a hand, which was a que for me to land on it. Shadow tilts his head and narrows his brows.
"Its about Pola' and Bee, I was goin' to' see if Onett could pause Bee's timer." I explained softly, sitring on his hand. Shadow slightly moved his hand back in understatement. He then gave a sad expression.
"It's alright, Shadow, I'll just have to' work around the problem," I stated, standing up from his hand to levitate. "See ya' tomorrow Shadow!" I exclaimed, flying towards the 45 Beeway Lane. Shadow waved before going to his house.
The Next Day: Polar Bear's POV
"Alright Pola', just like we rehearsed," Super said as we made our way down the 15 Bee Wateway.
Third Person
Some beekeepers (OP and/or Pro) greeted the two causally, then got back to what they were doing. Other beekeeper (Newbie/Noob/Cadet) looked at the two in awe, forgeting what they were doing.
This drew attention to everyone on the lower fields. Black Bear slightly looked at Mother Bear; she returned the look as they both looked at Super and Polar. The beekeepers that surrounded Bee moved out the way as if they were making a walkway. This made Bee look up from what he was doing (rapping a gift) and look at the two, not really focusing on the two that was in front of him.
"Bee," Polar started, trying to get his attention. This made Bee stop what he was doing, and look up to see who was really in front of him. Bee tried to keep a straight look and tone.
"Y-yes, P-polar?" Bee asked hesitantly. This made the beekeepers who were around leave ti do something else.
"Look, I just wanted to-" "It's fine," Both Polar and Bee said at the same time. They looked at each, then at the ground.
A muffled groan could be heard from a distance, followed a by a shout. "COME ON JUST MALE UP AND HUG ALREADY!" This made everyonelook at the source of the sudden outburst, just to see it was Brown Bear.
"Bee, I'm sorry for literly everything. I shouldn't have pushed you away, especially during the day. I know a simple sorry won't make you forgive me, but I just thought I'd let you know." Polar said, hanging his head down in shame. Bee looked at Polar, with sad eyes, but was able to crack a smile.
"No, you shouldn't be the one apologizing, I should. If you wasn't so clingy, maybe that day wouldn't have happened," Bee said softly. Polar just gave him a hug, which Bee happily accepted.
"Well, I guess it's safe to say that we were both at fault, huh." Polar joked. Bee just laughed.
"Ya, I guess we are," Bee answered.
