Attention:
I am so sorry I haven't been updating. Writer's block is real, and now that I'm starting classes AND helping all of my siblings, I don't really have the time to update in the morning.
But I forced myself to write something to keep y'all on y'all toes so I hope you like it.
Thank you for being patient and considerate.
Stay blessed 😘

Julia
Welp.
Looks like the cat's outta the bag.
Tell me, did you miss me?
Or did you forget about me because of all of the shit that happened?
You see, I've been mentioned in the headlines a couple times, but I guess it has been a while.
Two years in fact.
I had a reason for everything I did -- and I still do -- but let's take things back to the beginning.
Two years ago, I was looking for a job, because my parents had told me that I needed to show my own worth, and the first step was getting a job on my own. But what I didn't know was someone else was going to be there that exact same day at the exact same time.
While going up the elevator for my interview, someone crashed into me.
I cursed them out under my breath, but I looked up to shoot them a piece of my mind, my words got stuck in my throat and a squeak came out instead.
It wasn't the person who made me react that way.
Oh no, it was their exterior.
They screamed dominance, money, and power.
And that was why I shyly apologized -- even though I wasn't at fault -- and went my own way.
But as soon as I walked into the room, I was met with the exact same greyish blueish eyes I was just met with.
The person I bumped into was the boss.
Well, that was what I thought until another male walked in.
At that moment, I had thanked God because the tension would've been awkward, and I wouldn't have been able to talk properly.
And because of this, the overseer of the company had told us that we had the perfect chemistry, so they told us that we had to be in a relationship.
And guess who the lucky guy was.
The one and only Mark Olson.
At first I declined the offer, but then I remembered I needed the extra money to kickstart my life.
I had to actually work for what I wanted, and I had just turned 19.
I looked him over and saw that his exterior wasn't the worst, but still, I wanted to get things on my own.
My parents told me to never depend on a man, and it stuck in my mind ever since I was a child.
My childhood wasn't cookies and cream because my parents had envisioned my entire life before me being born, and I either had to fall in routine or fall in a tornado of regret, desperation, and low self-esteem.
And with those facts in the back of my head, I relunctantly agreed, even though I didn't like the idea of dating a total stranger just to get a job.
After I had agreed, we parted ways almost immediately, but I wasn't going to let a stubborn man get in the way of my improvement and breakthrough, so I started making the dates and arranges for us to hang out.
At first it was a fake relationship, but slowly I started to grow feelings.
And so did he.
We called the company, and told them about us, and they had hired us.
When they told us we wouldn't have to 'date' anymore, we agreed but continued sneak around.
We would go on dates -- that weren't placed by the company -- and talk the night away.
Well, one night it went something like that, but both of our intentions changed once that hard liquor got in our system.
That night, all we wanted to do was forget.
We wanted to forget that our relationship was something that started out beneficial for the company.
We wanted to forget our positions in life and just be Julia and Mark.
While working at the company, all we did was act and lie.
We acted like we didn't know each other. We acted like we were married. We acted like we hated each other.
But all of this changed once potential partners came to our front door.
They heard news about Mark and I, and that gave us more stress, but in the company's eyes, it was nothing because they only wanted one thing.
Publicity.
You may already know where I'm going with this, but if you don't, let me tell you. People started coming to us left and right asking for partnership, but we declined everytime.
Until they showed up.
Xavier and De'Andre Grey came to our company and asked to become partners, and we were given three months to make a decision, but things got complicated.
I don't want to talk about what exactly happened, but I will say that it was something that changed my life personally.
Blah, blah, blah a few months later Xavier Grey became an enemy of mine, and I wanted, and still want nothing more than to kill him.
But because I couldn't get to him in that exact moment, I had to find a different approach.
Well, actually I had to find a different person.
And the first person who came to mind was his brother De'Andre, but he acted as if he didn't care for him, so I went to the next people who came in mind.
His parents.
Sadly his father already died and his mother was somewhere in the world and to be honest, I didn't care.
I only had one goal on my mind, and that was to hurt him exactly how he hurt me.
A gun shot wound to the thigh.
