Xavier
"Tell our spotter to forget about Tori. She isn't going to get her anyways. Not when her father is Romeo. He'd burn us alive if he found out we took her." I tell De'Andre who's eating a bowl of cereal
I've been doing everything in my power to not think about Tori, but it's becoming impossible.
That one night in the club makes me want to find her and have my way with her, but I know that that will only stay in my dreams.
Life is too cruel to be in our favor, and I definitely know that now.
Even if I had been with Tori, the people who want my head will take her away from me in an instant, and something inside me wants to protect her.
Plus it's a waste of time, and a waste of a relationship.
But I want it.
If I was going to be with her I'd take every piece of pain and punishment those assholes would give me.
As long as they left Tori out of the picture, I will do anything, except give ownership of my company, to keep us both moving forward.
It isn't just her body that's making me feel this way because that isn't what I care about. Her attributes are alluring, her sassy attitude wanted me to bend her over my knee and spank it out of her then fuck her into another world, but she was also quite innocent. She didn't look a day over 18, and because I'm 20 there will be small talk, especially with my position in this world, but that wasn't what I was concerned about.
I'm honestly scared about my feelings for her, because I haven't been this attracted to a person in forever.
The last person I was attracted to– actually no she isn't even worth talking about.
That person took away everything from me, and I couldn't pick myself up until my brother came.
She was the girl I did everything for. She was the one girl I wanted to be with, but she fooled me. She gained my love and trust but turned around on me, and tried getting with my brother.
I saw her trying to have sex with him, and that crushed every bone in my body.
That day I felt used. Everyone wants him instead of me. All of the girls I have been with always used me to get to him. I mean I still sleep around with women, but it still hurts that all of the relationships I actually wanted didn't work out because of my brother.
That was the third time actually, and I didn't even speak with De'Andre for months after that. It was an idiotic decision because we still had work and still lived together. But he didn't speak to me and I didn't speak to him.
The vision of her crawling on top of him and him trying to push her off was still sketched into my brain.
I didn't know what I did wrong, and to this day, I still don't.
I gave my everything to her, and she crushed me just like that.
And the thing is she never apologized for her actions
She knew what she had done, and didn't apologize for what she did.
A couple of days after I found out, she left. She left without a goodbye note, without telling me, and without a piece of her.
She was the only one I still wanted even though she hurt me.
My first love left me after trying to cheat with my brother.
The thought alone burned my soul alive, and going through that by myself was also a mistake.
After weeks of not talking to De'Andre I stopped going to work and I stopped being myself completely.
She was the only one who kept me balanced other than De'Andre, and both of them were gone.
Which hurt me even more
"You sure?" He asked raising an eyebrow
I looked at him like he was a crazy person then chuckled.
This dude really is an idiot...
"Yes I am 100% sure. This is the granddaughter–" I began only to get cut off
"Yeah I know that, but has that ever gotten in the way of what we got going on? Listen to yourself man, yeah she's a legacy, but we are too. Our father was Nathaniel Grey, and this company was, and still is the building block of Arkansas. If you want to hide away just because another legacy threatened you, you're a punk. Like you said before, Tori is ours, and we don't let anything get in the way of what's ours. Don't ever let me hear that bullshit come out of your mouth again." He replied growling at the end then walked out of my room
Even though his attire didn't make him sound threatening as his voice did, I knew what he said made sense.
We are legacies as well, and even though Romeo's blood has more gun and drug violence in it, so does ours.
I just don't want a war between the Grey's and the Henderson's.
Because that will be a massacre no one will survive
"Don't infiltrate. The target isn't who I want anymore..." I trailed off not wanting to believe what I had just said
"But sir–"
"I said no. If you do this will be your last strike and you will be fired and banished." I cut them off then hung up
Even though I wanted every piece of Tori, I knew I had a family and business to protect. De'Andre could call me a pussy if he wants, I'm not taking that chance just because he can't keep his dick in his pants.
As I continued to do paper work my door was kicked down making me pull my gun that was already cocked and pointed to my door.
It was two people in black with masks on.
Their figures made me believe they weren't men, but my eyes could be playing tricks on me.
They looked around the room and when they focused their direction on me they took steps up to my desk.
"Xavier Grey?" One of them asked putting their gun behind their back while the other one kept theirs pointed to me
"Who's asking?" I asked still having my gun pointed
"Mark Olson." The person with the gun still pointed at me replied
My body stilled as the name made my blood run cold.
It's been years since I fucked him over, and he still wanted me dead.
I gulped at the two but continued to point my gun at them. Even if this was just a joke, I couldn't let these two people have the satisfaction seeing me weak.
That was something I'd never give anyone
"Tell him I'm sorry and I can have a negotiate with him." I said with hope in my eyes
I wasn't necessarily the one to plead because I have never been in this situation. As a matter of fact, it would be the other way around.
But this actually taught me something.
If you want to kill someone, have an escape plan before you do it.
That one mistake has made my life become hell.
That and killing people
"I'm sorry but we can't do that." The person who had the gun behind them chirped
"And why not?" I asked as I tightened my gun in my hand
The both of them looked at each other then looked back at me.
I could already see the smirks on their faces under the masks which made me want me to kill them at this very second.
Was I afraid of them?
No
Was I afraid of Mark?
Sort of
But the real question I should be asking is the one that made me smirk back at them as my pointer finger tightened around the trigger.
Should they be afraid of my crazy rebellious ass?
Hell fucking yes
