☆Chapter 22☆
Liko's POV:
When the weekend came around, I checked to make sure that both Dot and Roy were still available to bo to the new cafe. They both said yes so I left the house and walked down to where it was.
Once I got there, I found that Roy was already there. He ran over to me and we both hugged. It felt so nice that we were on good terms again.
We chatted for a while until Dot then arrived. I ran up to her and lifted her up and carried her in my arms. She became very red in the face but she smiled, so it was all okay.
I plopped her back down and then the three of us went into the cafe. It looked very fancy on the inside which made me worry the food would be expensive, but to my reassurance it wasn't.
We all ordered and then found a table to sit down on. Me and Roy chatted while Dot was on her phone and occasionally joined in.
Soon enough, our food then arrived. I had ordered a strawberry cake with a blueberry milkshake, Roy had ordered a chocolate brownie with ice cream and Dot had ordered a cookie.
We all ate out things but after that when we started chatting, I noticed something was wrong with Roy. His stomach kept on making weird noises and it looked like he was finding it difficult to maintain a smile.
"Roy, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Well, I think I made a mistake getting ice cream with the brownie because... I'm lactose intolerant..." He explained.
"Why did you get it then?" Dot asked, glancing up from her phone.
"Because ice cream is just SO GOOD!!!" Roy replied but then groaned in pain.
"Do you have any pills or medicine hat can make you feel better?" I questioned.
"I have some but they're at home," Roy answered and got up from his seat, "I think I need to go back..."
"That's fine, I hope you feel better!" I said.
"Thanks, see you two at school," Roy waved goodbye and then walked out of the cafe.
Once he was gone, Dot then put down her phone.
"Are you okay?" They asked.
"I'm fine buy I'm just worried about Roy, I hope he'll be okay," I answered.
"He'll be fine! Like he said, it's just an intolerance, nothing life threatening, he just might need to sit on the toilet for a while," Dot explained.
"Yeah, I guess you're right..." I replied.
Now that Roy was gone, Dot became more sociable. I mean I am her girlfriend so it does make sense and although I would have liked her to be more like this around Roy, I can't blame her and I also know she's just taking things one step at a time.
After an hour or so passed, we then decided to leave. We payed and then walked back to her house together as I didn't have much else happening today so I decided to spend more time with her.
I know I'm probably still sticking to old habits with spending more time with Dot over anyone else but, I mean, I should still spend time with her.
I hope Roy won't mind.
