Liko's POV:

The next day, I woke up to a lot of messages from Dot. She was repeatedly apologising for not answering but because I was asleep, she kept on going.

I then saw then go back online and eagerly awaiting a response. I didn't know what to say but then suddenly I got a text from her asking if I wanted to come around their house.

I really needed to see her to talk about yesterday so I agreed and they then shared their address. I brushed my teeth and changed before leaving the house and following the satnav.

I arrived at what I thought was her house and then knocked on the door. The door opened and I found standing there was Murdock.

"Murdock?!" I exclaimed.

"Hi Liko," He replied.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"My little sis invited me over for lunch so I came over, I don't live here though," Murdock explained, "Dot did say they was inviting a special friend over though so I did have a suspicion it was you!"

"Special?" I gasped, and then started sweating and blushing.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine!" I replied briskly.

He let me in and I took off my shoes on the stairs and then rushed upstairs before any further conversation between me and Murdock could take place. I knocked on the door that said Dot on it and it opened.

To my suprise my girlfriend immediately hugged me tightly. I was confused so I just hugged her back cautiously since she had her hair up and it looked like she had been crying and then followed them inside.

"Hi Liko, I'm so sorry!" They apologised, tears starting to pour down her cheeks.

"What for?" I asked.

"For ignoring you, I just got so stressed out and-" They were about to explain, but I cut them off.

"It's okay, we all get stressed out at some point," I reassured her.

Dot nodded and smiled.

"So, is that the only reason you brought me here? Also didn't you say you were sick yesterday?" I questioned.

"Yes but I'm fine now, also there is something else..." Dot mumbled, "I'm going to come put to my mum..."

"Didn't you already come out?" I asked.

"Yes but only to my uncle, me and my mom despite living together aren't very close because I choose to distance myself," They explained.

"Okay, well I'm going to be there for you, I'll prove I am worthy of dating you!" I said on a heroic voice.

Dot laughed and then nodded. They took out there hairband and held my hand before leading me downstairs. She then led me to the kitchen where Murdock was sitting at the table and a woman was placing plates along it.

She looked a lot like Murdock while also not having a lot of similarities with Dot but I immediately knew she was her mother.

"Hello mom, meet Liko, my friend!" My girlfriend said.

Her mom turned around to look at me. I gripped hold of Dot's hand tightly and started sweating uncontrollably.

"Lovely to meet you Liko, my name is Blanca, I'm Dot's mom and I'm so glad she has finally made a friend!" Blanca introduced herself.

"Yeah yeah whatever, let's just get this eating thing over with," Dot grumbled.

We both sat down next to each other and then Blanca placed plates in front of us. She put all of the Sunday roast she had made in the centre and we all started eating it.

"So Dot, how did you meet Liko?" Her mom asked.

"At school," Dot replied.

"Oh, I thought she would be one of your online friends," She replied.

"You have online friends?" I asked.

"Yeah, she is Ni-" Murdock was about to say something but then Dot stuffed some stuffing into his mouth.

"A huge Nidothing fan! I make friends through being apart of the fandom!" Dot interrupted.

"Lucky, I'm just so shy that I can't even really start conversations online," I replied.

We continued eating until suddenly Dot banged her glass to the table to get everyone's attention.

"Mom, I have an announcement to make!" She said.

"What is it?" Blanca asked.

"I'm..." Dot mumbled, not able to find the right words until I held her hand, "I'm a lesbian!"

"I knew it!" Blanca exclaimed, "I mean thank you for telling me..."

"Wait, you knew?!" They asked.

"Yes, the amount of posters of girls you've had on your walls over the years, a mother knows!" She explained.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO IN MY ROOM!!!" Dot yelled, but then became calm again, "But, what do you think?"

"Don't worry, I'm fully supportive and I am happy for Liko to be your girlfriend!" Blanca replied.

"I was just about to tell you that..." They grumbled, red in the face.

"Thank you!" I said.

We both then walked out of the kitchen after finishing the food.

"So when are you going to tell her about your gender?" I asked.

"Another time," My girlfriend replied.
