Seeing this pair together really looked odd to onlookers because their personalities were really different so how could they be friends.

"Really? So, your majesty ordered you to put up bets not just in one bet house but all?" Fang Mu curiously asked since he wasn't so sure and couldn't quite believe that the emperor will do such a thing.

"How did you know? You are so smart Fang Mu, he did indeed give such an order and you can just imagine how much came out of it, Isn't your Majesty the god of gambling, isn't he so amazing, isn't he outstanding" Bai Kang face was flushed and red due to how excited he was and Fang Mu had figured out why Bai Kang was been so strange and even tried flattering the emperor by kneeling down like the rest servants would in his presence, this was because he wanted to be rewarded generously.

Every guard present were surprised that even their emperor who was like a godly being that didn't partake in worldly affairs will actually gamble.

As Fang Mu sized his friend that had a frown on his face up and down he couldn't help but wonder why that is. "Did he not want the fact that he believed so strongly in his empress elect's ability to be found out" This made a mischievous smile form on Fang Mu's lips, a plan was beginning to form in his mind, one that he will only be able to put into effect when the empress elects return.
