Flashback to the previous Spring

Draco had been sitting in the home office of Miss Rose, (the acting teacher) listening as she tried to explain the proper way to kiss without a partner. Which was another problem that they were having as most of Rose's older student were there for singing lessons, not acting, and the few that still used her as an acting teacher were younger than Draco, so she highly doubt that their parents would give consent. Meaning that Rose would have to tell Narcissa Malfoy that she'd have to take her son to another establishment, which sucked because she could use the money that this job was going to pay. Rose had been about to call Narcissa Malfoy to come pick up her son, when she heard the front door opening, and someone headed up the stairs towards the music room, which confused Rose since she didn't have any appointments until later in the afternoon. Looking up at the Tardis clock that hung on the wall, and seeing that it was already after three pm, had Rose asking herself "Where the last hour had went?" before looking at Draco and asking him "How old are you exactly?" Draco was confused as to why this was important, but answered the question anyways, saying "I'm thirteen until my birthday in a few weeks, on June 5th. Why do you ask?" "Because I have an idea, but I need you to sit here and give me a few minutes." Rose said as she left the room, hoping that the person that just went up the stairs is the girl she wants it to be, and luckily for her it was. "Hermione, how would you like to take some acting lessons?" "I would really like that, except for I don't see how that will help me become an famous singer, and I don't see my parents wanting to pay for any additional lessons." Rose knows what she's about to do is wrong on a few levels, but she knows that working with Draco Malfoy could really help her struggling business, especially if he gets the part in the play he wants. So she said "What if I gave you these lessons for free? The only thing is that if you're parents found out, they might take you to another vocal couch. So just listen to what I have to say before you agree, and if you're not interested I will completely understand, and never bring it up again." Hermione was more than a little worried about what her teacher was about to say, but she did like and trust Rose, so if there was anyway that Hermione could help her than she would at least consider it. Hermione sat quietly listening as Miss Rose explained the whole situation to her, making sure to include the part about if she can teach Draco to kiss, that his mother would make sure everyone knew just how good a teacher she was. And how despite the fact that she loves her repeat customers if she doesn't get new ones soon, she won't be able to keep her small business a float, and finishing off the conversation by saying "You are the only female student I have that is close enough to Draco's age. And this is where it gets bad, as you see I think (no I know) that your parents will never agree to this, so if you do it than you'd have to do it without their knowledge, which I know is a lot to ask of you, and as I said I will understand if you say "No, leave and..." "No, it's okay, I mean you're right, my parents will be very upset if they found out, which is why I'd never tell them. But honestly I think that this might be good for me too, since one day I will be kissing boys, and it would be great if I actually knew what I was doing. I just have a few conditions, 1-Is that you are always with us when we're doing (learning) this. 2-If at any time he is as mean to me as the kids at my public school, I can quit no questions asked. 3-Is after this I would like for you to try and get me into Hogwarts, School of Performing Arts, since it is the best school in the country, and by going there I will be able to get a job in any country, and anywhere I want." "That all sounds reasonable! Now let's take you to meet young Mister Malfoy, shall we?" Rose says with a smile on her face as she took Hermione's hand and walked with her down the stairs and into the sitting room, where Draco was working on his homework.

A/N- I know that in the HP universe Hermione is older than Draco by about nine months, but that didn't actually work out for this story, so for argument sake Draco older.
