Going to Hogwarts
A/N- I am currently writing this chapter on June 5th, which as we all know is Draco's birthday. It's hard to believe that our favorite Slytherin turns 42 today, Happy Birthday Draco! Unfortunately I am a huge procrastinator, and did not actually finish it until now!
The next morning Draco woke up in bed alone, which made him more than a little upset. That was until he'd heard his shower running, which had him getting out of his bed and making his way into his en-suite, he knew instantly that it was Hermione in his shower as he heard her singing "Moon River" which he knew from their previous time together was one of her favorite songs. He had been about to join her the water shut off, the shower curtain opened, and Hermione was standing wiped in one of his mother's favorite towels. At seeing the blonde boy standing there staring at her, Hermione could not hide her smile as she said "I hope that I did not wake you, Draco. But I needed a shower and since the shower in my room isn't working, your mother said that I could use yours." "No, it's fine! I would have been getting up im a few minutes anyhow, wait a minute though how did you know that the shower in the Green Room wasn't working? considering the fact that you slept with me last night!" "Well I did not want your parents to wake up and find us together, so when I woke up at five am, as I do every morning I got dressed and made my way into the Green Room, and laid down until your mother came to wake me. It was actually her that told me about the shower not working, and told me to help myself to yours, as you usually slept until the last possible moment. However knowing that you would most likely want a shower after last night, I did not use all of the hot water, now if you will excuse me, I am going to go and get dressed for the day." Before she could leave the small space Draco had her back against the wet shower wall, and was kissing her passionately. Draco smiled as he felt her arms wrap around his waist, before she opened her lips giving him access to her tongue, and letting him deepen the kiss, for a few moments before pulling away and whispering "Draco, we must get ready, otherwise your mother will come check on us, and... well I'd like very much to be invited to your house again." At hearing this, Draco let's Hermione go, and stepped into the shower himself. It took him twenty minutes to finish his shower and make his way towards the kitchen, only to find his father sitting alone at the table reading the morning paper, "Where's Blaise and Hermione?" the blonde boy asked his father. "They've already left with your mother, son!" Lucius says turning to the next page in the paper he was reading, as Draco asked "Why would mother leave without me? I wasn't upstairs that long, was I?" "You were up there for quite awhile actually! However your mother waited as long as she could for you to join us, but it was just getting to late, so she took Hermione and Blaise with her." "But why?" Draco asked again, confused about why his mother would be in such a rush since being a teacher, she'd not have to be at the school until the next day when lessons actually began. "Last night before we went to bed, your mother got a phone call from Miss Granger's parents, who since they couldn't make it to last night's dinner wanted to meet her, as well as have breakfast with their daughter since they won't see her again for the next three months. However they wanted it to be a surprise, so to make it look less suspicious your mother took Blaise with them, she wanted me to tell you that you could just stay home tonight and ride up with her in the morning. While Draco wanted to take his mother up on her offer, he could not, because he needed to be at Hogwarts just in case Ronald decided to try anything with his girl, not that Blaise would actually let that happen but... which is what had him saying "If it's okay with you father, I'd much rather have you take me to the train station, since we have time, that way I can spend the afternoon with the friends that I haven't seen since before Christmas." Draco tells his father. Hearing this made Lucius smile behind his paper, because what his son did not know was that Lucius had went to check on the children the previous night, only to find The Green Room empty. And at finding Blaise alone in his room the older man quickly made his way back
to the master suite, to tell his wife that she had been right, about Draco and Hermione already being together (only they did not know just how together the two were) which explained why he had been so adamant about Hermione not leaving with The Weasley Family, despite the fact that Draco and Ronald being rivals.
