Three weeks after Lucy came to Nevada, Jacob and Brook were sitting in Biology. They were supposed to be taking notes, but Jacob and Brook were doodling om their papers and making each other quietly giggle while the teacher glared at them. It was eight thirty in the morning, no teacher wanted to listen to kids laugh.

They stopped the lesson when the principal stepped to the room.

"We have a new student, children. I want you to all make her feel welcome." He said. He opened the door up and in stepped Sara. Jacob felt his heart sink as he saw her beautiful blond hair and perky smile.

"What's she doing here?" Jacob whispered angrily to Brook.

"You know her?" She asked. Jacob nodded.

"That's Sara. My ex." He said. He saw Brook eyes dart over to Sara and she seemed to size her up, then with a look of disgust, she turned back to Jacob.

"I don't like her." She said. Jacob smiled a bit and took her hand.

"Of coarse you don't."

"Everyone this is Sara." The principal said. With that being said, he left. Sara finally caught sight of Jacob and she smiled and waved at him, much to Brooks dislike.

"Hello Sara, Why don't you take a seat at the empty desk next to Brook. Then you can tell us a little bit about yourself." Mrs. Wendell said. Sara smiled and sat down next to Brook.

"I Just moved here from Florida. My dad got a job offer here so we packed up and moved." She said simply. The teacher smiled went back to her lesson. Sara looked over at Brook and smiled.

"Hi, I'm Sara." she said. Brook gave her a false smile in return.

"Brook." She said simply, and her grip got tighter on Jacob's hand. Sara leaned forward a little to see Jacob.

"Hi Jake! Can you believe I'm here?!?" She squealed. Jacob gave her a small smile.

"Nope. I am shocked." He said.

"I was going to call, but I'd rather it be a surprise." she flipped her blond hair over her shoulder and Brook saw out of the corner of her eye, Sara glare at Brook.

Jacob sat down next to Brook at the lunch table and wrapped an arm around her waist, just as Sara came skipping up to them. James and Lily had just sat down.

"Hi!" She said in her annoyingly perky voice. She sat down on the other side of Jacob and grinned at James.

"Sara?!?" James asked in horror. She smiled and wiggled her fingers in his direction.

"So this must be Lily?" Sara asked. Jacob felt instantly uncomfortable near Sara, like she was playing with them all until she could beat them down. Lily smiled at her.

"Yes, hi." she said, clutching onto James' hand tighter.

"I can't wait to meet your whole family!" Sara said turning her attention back to Jacob. Jacobs eyes widened and he turned back to his lunch.

"Um...Sara, I'm not sure they'll happen any time soon." He said. She rose her eyebrows.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Sara, we broke up, a long time ago, don't you think it's inappropriate for me to be introducing you to my family?" He said. She glared at him.

"I'm also a friend." She snapped.

"Not really. Don't take it the wrong way, but I really can't stand you." He said as nicely as I could. She gasped a bit.

"And how on Earth am I not suppose to take that the wrong way!?!" She said shrilly. She stood and glared at Brook. "You took him from me!" she said before storming away from their table. Once she was gone, James let out a laugh.

"Wow Jake! They follow you even from Florida!" He said. Brook glared at him and he shut his mouth, though the humor was still in his eyes.

Jacob was irritated that Sara was also in his math class, the one class where he already had to deal with Nikki. And lucky for him, Sara was placed on the other side of the room. Though it did cause some problems, since she was put right next to Nikki. She and Nikki looked friendly with each other, as if they had already been in another class together. They whispered and giggled with each other. Great, my ex and my enemy. Of coarse they would become friends! he thought sarcastically.

When he thought his day couldn't get any worse, Nikki pulled up into their driveway with Sara in the passenger seat. He was just bringing Lucy back into the house from letting her play with Chevy.

"Are you ever going to kill that stupid beast?" Nikki asked as Jacob put Chevy back into her stall. Jacob glared at her.

"What do you want?" He snapped. She glared at him.

"I came to meet your family along with Sara." She said. Jacob let out a groan and walked into the house with them following him. He put Lucy in her swing and she fell asleep.

"So where's your family?" Sara asked. Jewel came running down stairs, clinging to Peaches, like usual. She stopped when she saw Sara and Nikki.

"Jake, who are they?" She asked.

"Sara and Nikki, this is my sister Jewel." Jacob said.

"Nikki? Isn't that the one Mil hates?" Jewel asked. Jacob smiled nodded.

"Not just Mil hates her, Jewel." he said. Nikki glared at him.

"Can't you just get over it already?" She asked. Jacob glared at her.

"You told the entire school I was cheating on Brook!" Jacob said angrily.

"What does cheating mean, Jake?" Jewel asked looking up at her older brother.

"It's...Um, well it's when a person goes behind the back of someone they love and they date another person." He said. Jewel gasped.

"That's horrible!" She said. She turned to Nikki. "Jake would never do that! He loves Brook!" She said. Sara glared at Jacob and he glared back at her.

"Jewel, why don't you go check on Wildfire." He said.

"Okay!" She said skipping out of the house. The second age shut the door, Jacob glared at Nikki.

"Just leave. Both of you." He said. Nikki smiled a bit and looked up the stairs, Jacob let out a sigh and turned around to see Alex coming down the stairs and she had Julian balanced on her hip. She smiled when she reached them.

"Hi, I'm Alex. Are you friends of Jacob?" Alex asked looked at the two girls. Nikki smiled and nodded.

"Yes, we go to the same school and have a few classes together. We're over here for a group project for math." Nikki lied. Jacob glared at her while his mothers back was turned. Alex gave them both smiles.

"Well, you might as we'll stay for dinner then." My mother must hate me. Jacob thought bitterly.
