Prologe
~right before the attack on the Moutain by smaug~.'
It was a typical day in Erebor, the princess of arda just walked around, greeting people in eh mountain and greeting her back. She was loved amongst the people, men, dwarves, all over Erebor. Even the king loved her and saw her as his child. Thorin was one of her best friends, but her absolute was fili and kili. They were fun to be around, childish—everything you could want in a friend. As the day grew darker as the night had almost made its appearance, Adalinda was standing at the ridge of the mountain battlements, looking out over the land. Thorin and Balin were walking up to her. she heard their footsteps long before they reached her. "hello Linda," thorin said, his voice kind and warm as he always used when talking with her.
The princess replied, still not looking from the view in front of her. "hello, prince thorin, master Balin. What brings you out here so late?" she said. Thorin and Balin smiled as they joined their princess to look out over the town, the lands that stretched far away. Adalinda always wanted to go outside Erebor, meeting new people; she was their princess, after all. But the king didn't let her, order from her father, she had heard. She didn't get it. She was good with any weapon. King thror just answered when she asked him bout it, "it's not my business, but your father wants us to keep you safe. there are people out there wanting your head or other things," and with those words, he would walk off, leaving the young princess to think for herself.
Last time she had seen her father was when Gondolin was attacked. She knew he just wanted to keep her safe, but she could take care of herself. Anyway, the dwarves wouldn't be around forever either. Princess Adalinda sighed and walked away from the battlements, confusing Thorin and Balin, but they let their princess be alone.
Adalinda sat in her room, her eyes shimmering over a book her father had given her years back. It was about the tales of middle earth, so she read quite a lot bout her family, the Valar. She smiled at some of them and got interested in others. Suddenly she came across a particular prophecy. It was bout her, that much she understood. Here's how it goes.
"A mighty princess. A princess of Arda, daughter of the gods. The daughter of Manwë. She lived with the dwarves of Erebor. She fell in love with a dragon. Another hunts her. Her presence will change fate. She will meet the elf king and his son. She will see the mighty dwarf king fall and see his kin raise. She lived in the mountain and got captured by the dragon.
The princess of Arda caught by a dragon, Love will bloom, Fire will be spread, "I shall not leave you, never, "Father was the great king of the Valar, King of Arda, Her mother, Varda, queen of Arda, What will happen when she turns the beast she's been hiding for centuries?"
The prophecy confused her. Did a dragon catch her? And hiding a creature? she had to ask Balin bout this; he was the wisest among the dwarves. But for later, for now, she wanted to defer the riddle herself by sleeping. she laid the book on its place in the bookcase together with its brothers and sisters.
Sinking into the soft mattress of feathers, the princess fell into a slumber. Would she wake again? If she did, the world around her would be changed.

Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither; The frost does not reach deep roots." ― J.R.R. Tolkien.
