Echo POV

The plane ride went by quite quickly talking to Danny. But now Beck seemed a little irritated for some unknown reason.

"Get dressed we're going to the beach." He says when we walk into the room and he just opened his bag pulling out some swimming trunks and walked to the bathroom without another word which confused me. I shake my head before walking to the bed placing my bag on it and pulled a white bikini I had actually design and made myself recently (pic up top.. keep in mind non of these pics are mine) with a cute white beach dress to go over it. And then took my beach bag and packed two towels, some jean shorts and a crop top with a pack of head bands because.. well you never know, some sunblock and a black cap with the EW letters or more like the company logo.

"Beck I need to get changed!" I called for him to hurry up.

"Then change!" He says back making me groan, why is he being so impossible right now? I give up and undress in the room putting on the bikini and then the dress finding my flip flops and putting them on just as Beck walks out.

"How long do you need to change? I even packed my bag already." I say and he just shakes his head but I walk closer to him taking his hand.

"Are you mad at me for something?" I ask and he just sighs moving closer to me and kisses my lips softly and I kiss back.

"No, come on let's go." He says pulling my hand and I take my bag on the way out.

"Beck I'm serious, you're acting distant." I say as we walk out the room.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it." He says making me frown but nod. We make it to the main hall and we find his family there.

"You guys ready?" His uncle asks and I nod dragging Beck with me as we all walk to the beach just in front of the hotel. We took a spot and placed our things there and I took the dress off before I started putting on the sunblock.

"You going in the water honey?" Beck's aunt asked me and I look at her while putting on the sunblock.

"I don't know." I say giving her a smile.

"Babe can you put sunblock on my back?" I ask and he sighs but takes the bottle away from me.

"Well I'm going ahead with the kids." She says and I nod as Beck starts rubbing the cream on my back a little slowly letting his fingers linger making me shiver even though it wasn't cold.

"Beck." I warn and he kisses my head finishing with me and putting on some himself while I took the bottle putting some on his back as well and some on his face.

"Are you going in?" He asks and I shake my head.

"I think I'll stay back and tan a bit." I say and he nods before going into the water. Something is definitely off about him. I take out one of the towels and lay it on the sand laying on it soaking in the sunlight. However a few minutes later a ball hits my side.

"Ow." I say seeing as the ball hit me pretty hard.

"Sorry!" I look up to see a guy with black hair and bright blue eyes. He looks about maybe 19.

"It's ok.. just try not to hit me again that really hurt." I say taking the ball and tossing it to him.

"We're really sorry.. would you like to come play with us? We're missing a player for a 3 on 3." He asks and I think about it for a second my eyes landing on Beck who already had about 5 girls around him.. he seriously didn't even make it to the water? I look back at the guy and consider his offer.

There's nothing wrong with me going to play beach volleyball with them and I do want to have some fun amd my boyfriend is being mobbed by a group of girls with him not even sparing me a glance. I smile and get up brushing off the sand that had landed on me and looked at the guy again.

"Sure, I'm Echo by the way." I say as he smiles. He was actually quite handsome.

"Chris." He says before leading the way.

"So are you here on vacation as well?" He asks and I nod.

"Where are you from?" He asks.

"L.A." I answer.

"Wow I heard L.A. girls were hot but I didn't know how true that was until now." I was feeling a bit uncomfortable now.

"Um, thanks. Look no offense but I have a boyfriend." I say making him chuckle.

"Figures, sorry about the comment then." He says with a cheeky smile making me smile a bit.

"No problem." I say as we make it to a set up net with 2 guys and 2 girls on each side.

"Chris, who's the girl?" One of the girls asked. She was pretty with red hair, much like Cat's, and hazel eyes.

"This is Echo, I asked her to play with us." Chris answers.

"Cool we needed another girl." This one too had light pink hair with brown eyes.

"The name's Jessica but you can call me Jess." Says the red head.

"I'm Livia but please call me Liv." Says the pink haired one.

"And those three boys are Chris, Ian, and Evan they are now our enemies. Ready to play?" Jess asked and I nodded smiling.

"Bring it on." I say and we started playing for a while before we just stopped and started talking.

"So what brought you here?" Liv asked.

"Actually a vacation with my boyfriend's family which I should be heading to right now. I told him I'd get in the water after tanning." I say making her chuckle.

"Who's your boyfriend?" Jess asked and I turn to see Beck still surrounded by girls.. just more of them making me face palm.

"The one who has about 20 girls circling him." I say making her chuckle.

"This is why me an Liv are happy with each other." She says and I look at her.

"You two are dating?" I ask and she nods.

"I didn't notice but then again I haven't known you for very much." I say making them chuckle as the guys joined the conversation.

"Yeah we've been trying to get them to give us a chance but no." Ian says making us all laugh.

"That wasn't a joke." He says as I chuckle shaking my head.
