Chapter 63
Jin and Hoseok left the campus. He was grinning like a fox, this was going to be one amazing revenge plan. He was going to get his mother to kill Mr Kazuma and he was going to get Yamato to be the one who was going to kidnap Yumei from the party.
While he and Hoseok wouldn't be the suspects, for this little stunt that they were going to pull. He opened his car door and waited for Hoseok to get in, something was off about the way he was acting. "Something the matter?"
Hoseok blinked as he climbed into the car. "No, sir. Why would anything be wrong?"
Jin started the car, "Well for instance why did you ask to see Joonie's book?"
Hoseok bit his lip, what should he says that wouldn't bet against him? "I wanted to see what he was reading as it might have been part of his mystery party and Alice in wonderland is a good party to have."
Jin put the car in reverse. "I haven't even thought about it, but we have 8 weeks of careful preparation."
Hoseok only nodded, 8 weeks then all of this would be over. 8 weeks and they would have justice for what the Kim family had done including the Kazuma family.
His mother never got over the fact that her baby sister married a Yakuza man, she had told him and Jimin that she was brainwashed. The worst part was that they had endless days of preparing for the deception.
But... After his father infiltrated the Kim family, everything had gone downhill. Jimin was already with the Kazuma family at that time and he made sure that he would be the perfect soldier.
He went with his father, his father who was a cop. Somewhere... something went wrong and Goro found out that he was a spy but luckily he was spared by Goro's wrath.
Goro had made him an offer, deny his family and join the Kim family; mind body and soul. He obliged and played the perfect spy. Unfortunately, after the death of his father, his mother soon followed.
"One should always see the bigger picture and you sir... Are already seeing it."
He had to throw in a small compliment. He knew that somehow Namjoon was in contact with Yumei and the message he slipped in the book... would eventually find its way to Jimin.
He was happy that Yoongi got out of the Kim family's toxic way of doing things. He wasn't too happy to use Unmei but he had to... or his cover would have been blown.
He had a message sent that her family should he release at noon tomorrow. He sent up a silent prayer that Yoongi would find his happiness with her. It took time to plan but it was what he could do on short notice.
Get Unmei to break her leg, with that he bought some time so that Jimin could move his plans on faster. He had to meet him, they had to be on the same page and if Jimin also thought to fake their deaths... He had the perfect plan and that would be the day that Jin-
"You are right, Hobi. Now that we have some time we need to collaborate on who would be doing what."
He was brought back from his thoughts. "Yes, sir. We should have a meeting with Yamato."
Hoseok nodded and gazed out the window as they drove back to the mansion. He could just have sent Jimin a text to tell him but that could be traced back to him.
His uncle had pawns in play too, this was getting dangerous by the second. He wasn't sure what Jin had asked Riyu to do. He was worried that somewhere their plan would fall into pieces, maybe he should ask Jin what he had told Riyu just to test the waters.
"Have you asked Riyu to do something yet?"
Jin stiffened slightly and gripped the steering wheel hard. "I have only asked her to let me know what is going on."
So he was lying to him. Strange they have always told each other the truth. "That is good, so we would be able to be a step ahead then."
"Exactly." They got to the mansion and the gates opened to welcome them. Jin parked the car and they climbed out, "Be ready in a few for our meeting."
Hoseok gave him a nod and walked to the mansion. After the meeting, he and Jungkook would have to talk.
Jimin opened the living room door and Yumei let out a gasp as her eyes darted around the room.
Yoongi was sitting at the table with a top hat and a coat. "You have done this for me?"
Jimin grinned and placed her down gently in a chair. "Yes, we have. We thought you might be down."
He picked up an ear band to give him a door mouselook. "So let the tea party commence."
Yoongi poured her some tea. "So, what did Namjoon say?"
Yumei took her teacup. "He wants us to meet and-"
Yoongi and Jimin whistled at her. "And?"
Yumei averted her gaze from them, she felt the embarrassment creep up on her. "He placed the letter in the back of my book which he found in the cafeteria."
She took a small breath before continuing. "I was surprised because I have written my own little adventure at the back of my book... So I think-"
Yoongi took a sip of his tea. "So he knows?"
Jimin found his cup interesting, he was going to let Yoongi handle this.
Yumei bit her lip. "I think it is a sign that he knows who I am and I would like to meet him as soon as possible."
She turned her eyes back up and looked Yoongi in the eye. "I have to tell him."
Yoongi smiled at her. "So, you trust him enough?"
Yumei didn't turn her gaze from him. "I do... More than you know, Ooni. My feelings have never stopped these oast seven years."
Yoongi's eyebrow lifted slightly, so in the end, they were the same. They both met someone in their early life that they never could forget, that made the realization that with this person they would never be able to live without.
The only thing was he was able to move freely, he had always watched over Unmei from a distance but Yumei never could.
She was behind these white wall that kept her in and anyone out. "I think that is a good thing but one question."
She blinked st him. "What?"
"Did he say that he-"
Yumei's cheeks turned crimson at that question. "He returns my feelings."
Jimin looked up from his cup and his gaze found Yoongi's. That was the confirmation that they needed, both of them felt the same way and that was good for their plan.
"Then, I will give you-"
The living room door opened and their attention snapped to the door. Mr Kazuma stood there with Majima behind him. "What is this I hear?"
They blinked at him.
His gaze hardened. "Who wants to tell the truth now?"
Jimin and Yoongi stiffened. So he thought they were going to tell her the truth about Yunari but in reality...
"I have asked-"
Yumei slammed her cup down on the table making the cutlery shudder. "Good evening father, how are you?"
Mr Kazuma paused at her tone, "I am- I uhm... How are you, sweety?"
Yumei didn't back down. "I am good, where were you yesterday?"
Jimin and Yoongi had to bit back their laughter. Their little rainbow fluff was giving her father a run for his money by playing a small game.
Mr Kazuma scratched his head. "I was in a business meeting-"
"So you were to busy with your daughter?"
"No, I-"
Jimin and Yoongi turned their attention to Majima who was trying hard not to laugh at the situation.
"Yes, you were. You haven't come to see me and the worst part is... You made me a promise and you broke it."
Yumei folded her arms not looking at her father. She was tired of trying to fight for his attention and now he demands who would tell the truth?
She wasn't going to tell him that she wanted to tell a boy that she liked for the past seven years the truth. The truth that he rather tried to keep buried.
He never thought about the consequences, who would marry a business tycoon's daughter if she had to keep going out on aliases?
Mr Kazuma hung his head. "Mei-mei-"
"You do not have the right to call me that..."
Mr Kazuma deserved that, he knew he did. He had hurt his relationship with his daughter that it might never mend.
