Chapter 32

Yoongi looked up from Yumei, yes he was going to have a long day. It was already past midnight and he probably had to get to bed so that he can get to the university in a few hours.

He told Jimin what happened left out a few parts but that was for Unmei's protection, he couldn't afford that they would go after her. He looked at Jimin who was still looking at Yumei. "Before I leave, what are your thoughts about Kim Namjoon."

Jimin turned his gaze away from, Yumei and opened his mouth but closed it. What were his thoughts? He was happy from the bottom of his heart that Yumei had lost her heart on someone but he might still be a spy.

On the other hand, how could he be a spy when he went through the trouble of doing all of this for her? Maybe it was part of a plan that they don't know of? Jimin parted his lips, "I think that he is a good man, Yoongi."

Yoongi folded his arms, it would seem on the surface that he was a good man. What bothered him was that he had connections to Jin and his surname was the same as theirs, Kim. "I still have my doubts about that but as you have said. We will need to look into this."

Jimin nodded, "I understand your doubts but what do we do if our investigation leads to the fact that he can be trusted?"

Yoongi took a last glimpse at Yumei and walked from her bed. "Then we will talk about a plan to get them together." He paused at her hospital room door, "The thing is Jimin, how can you make two people fall in love when it might only be one-sided?"

Jimin smirked, "I don't think it is one-sided, Yoongi. I saw the way that he looked at her, he feels something for her even if he doesn't know it yet."

Yoongi said nothing and left the room, he passed the reception and left the Hospital. Majima was still in the car when he got there and looked up when he got there. "Did the little Miss forgive you?"

Yoongi climbed in, "She is fast asleep." Majima's eyebrow lifted, "Then what took you so long?"

"Jimin and I had a little talk."

Majima started the car, "Is everything okay? Does he need help with the little Miss?"

Yoongi shook his head, "No, he is fine."

Majima drove off back to the estate without saying another word. Yoongi looked out the window, 'Unmei... If you did do this, I hope you had a good reason.'

Namjoon was staring out of the window as Tae drove him back to his place. His parents weren't going to be happy with him for returning so late.

He climbed out of the car as soon as Tae pulled in the driveway, "Want me to pick you up tomorrow?"

Namjoon paused and realised he forgot all of his books at the university. "If you don't mind?"

Tae smiled, "I do not mind at all."

"Thank you, Tae ill see you in a few hours." He gave him a slight wave as he closed the car door, he noticed that the lights were still on. 'I am in for a scolding.'

He reluctantly walked up the steps to the front door before the could open it his father was standing in the doorway, "So where have you been?"

Namjoon felt the anger in his words, "I was out with Tae at the arcade."

His father looked at his watch, "It is past midnight. The arcade closed three hours ago."

Namjoon forgot that the arcade closed early in the weekdays. As long as his father doesn't ask if he was busy with investigating the Yakuza it should be fine. "Dad, I know that I am late and I am sorry. I am still young so I thought I would enjoy the night with my friend."

He watched as his father's face turned from angry to a soft expression. "You are right. I was just worried, " He turned back into the house, "Your mother left dinner in the oven for you."

Namjoon smiled to himself, bless his mom who would make sure that he ate. "Thank you." His father closed the door behind them and Namjoon went to the kitchen.

His father took a look at him, "Where is your jacket?"

Namjoon paused, "I left it at the university."

He heard his father mumble ' Scatterbrain' before he went upstairs. Namjoon didn't realise how hungry he was when he opened the oven door.  "Mmm, steamed dumplings with stir fry on the side."

He took it out and went up to his room, Yumei's book was still on his nightstand. He sat down on the bed and started eating, he enjoyed the day a lot he talked with Yumei who opened up a little.

It was a day full of events but it turned out okay. He had watched the stars which he hasn't done in a long time. There wasn't a lot of people who enjoyed laying around without talking.

His lips formed a smile, it was amazing they were in comfortable silence. He finished his dinner and placed the plate next to the book, he opened it where her ribbon was.

His fingers trailed it slowly and his stomach fluttered. 'Tae said I would get to know my heart and it was only two days but I think-'

He didn't finish his thought as his eyes closed and he fell asleep with the book opened.

Neu entered their bedroom, "Namjoon is safely home."

Sakura sat up from the bed, "I am happy that he is home. You haven't told him, did you?"

Neu shook his head, "He promised that he would stop looking so how could I tell him that I have received a call from Shito?"

She folded her arms looking worriedly at Neu. "This has been a crazy two days, love."

Neu sat down at the end of the bed, "How was it possible that after so many years the Yakuza was back on our radar?"

She unfolded her arms and reached out a hand to his shoulder. "Shito only wants to meet you, I don't think he would threaten our family."

Neu nodded and turned to look at Sakura, "What I can remember of Shito was that he was a family man. I am just worried because he said Namjoon's name."

She licked her lips, "You said that he didn't sound threatening, so I think you should just meet him to hear him out."

He reached his hand out to cup her face, "What have I done to deserve a woman like you?"

She smiled, "You are you, Neu and I love you very much."

He kissed her nose, "I will call Shito and arrange a meeting."

She nodded, "Alright. Let us get some sleep."

Neu stood up to turn off the light and climbed in bed. Sleep will not come easy, this business with the Yakuza was bothering him.

Jin was still sitting in his office, the door opened. "Sir, you need to rest."

Jin looked up, "Hoseok, I am too busy planning to sleep now."

Hoseok entered the office and closed the door. "If you do not rest, your head won't be able to plan properly."

Jin leaned back in his chair, there were so many plans forming in his head and he didn't know how he should go around to get them to fruition. Hoseok was right about that, the thing was he was itching to get this over with. "I have asked my mother to be our spy."

Hoseok widened his eyes while approaching Jin's desk. "You have? What did she say?"

Jin smirked, "She is on our side."

"That is good to know, sir. Have you told her what she would be doing?"

Jin shook his head, "No. I have not yet. For now, I would like her to keep us up to date with what is happening in Kazuma's household."

Hoseok nodded, "Then we can plan a step ahead, but another thing. This party you want Namjoon to plan for us and the freshmen-"

"What about it?"

Hoseok bit his lip, "Your plan is not going to work."

Jin was getting annoyed now, "And why would that be Hoseok?"

"Well-" He drew his shoulders upward, "Yumei broke her leg and wouldn't be at the party in two weeks."

Jin leaned forward, he didn't think about that, his whole plan was planned around that party and now they would have to wait until her leg healed. "You have a point, Hoseok. So we will have to postpone our plans that is all."

Hoseok nodded, "Yes. A broken bone heals in about 6 to 8 weeks. Depending on how badly it was broken."

Jin tapped his fingers on the table, "How badly did you let Unmei brake her leg?"

Hoseok took a small step backwards. "It will take about 8 weeks for her leg to heal properly."

Jin abruptly stood up from his chair, "You what! That is like two months that we would have to postpone our plans!"

Hoseok knew he would have been angry at this news, but on the other hand, now they can plan better. "Sir, I know you are angry but think about it this way. You can better your plans, wouldn't the revenge be better if you take everything and not just his daughter?"

Jin gritted his teeth, he had a point. Where had his father found them again? Hoseok was the best right-hand man any Yakuza boss could ask for and now that his mother was on his side... "Now that sounds better."

Jin was never planning to have taken his businesses but if they plan longer he could strip the Kazuma family clean. "I want you to do me a favour."

Hoseok bowed, "Anything sir."

"Find out why I have a new bodyguard and his background."

Jungkook moved away from the office door, 'Shit... Shit...' He had to call the sarge now. No, not the same the best hacker that the precinct had on their payroll.

He took out his phone and turned a few corners. He looked around to see if someone was around and he scrolled down to the number 'Taelene'

He pressed the dial button, he had forgotten for a few seconds that he was dealing with the Yakuza, of course, they would run a background check and he needed a solid background or he would end somewhere in a ditch.

The phone was ringing, he knew it was late but Tae was a night owl he might still be up. He began rating as there was no answer yet. 'Tae, please...'

"Kookie!"

Jungkook let out a breath of relief, thank the gods that he picked up. "Taelene, I am sorry to bother you this late darling."

"What is wrong? Are you having problems with your nightmares again?"

What the hell? Was he angry about something? "What nightmares?"

"Those ones you told me about when I am not with you."

Jungkook snorted, 'Okay... He was definitely upset about something.' He took a look around the corner again before speaking.

"I am having an identity crisis."

He heard the line went quiet for a few seconds and the sound of a computer that was switched on.
