Later that night Patton and Logan began to bake cookies. "Where is Roman, Deceit?" Virgil hissed angrily and cornered him. Roman could only laugh in a distorted voice only Virgil heard. "It you don't tell me, I swear to God-"

"You swear to God? Call him. What's he gonna do? Banish me to hell and make me burn for eternity?" Roman laughed and pushed Virgil to the floor. "Get over the fact that your little fantasy is just that. A fantasy." Roman said and flashed a smirk.

Footsteps were heard coming down the stairs. Virgil turned around to see Roman walking down and applying eye shadow to his eye. Deceit silently gasped and faded into thin air, only as if he weren't there, but he was. He stood behind Virgil while he trembled in excitement. Virgil ran over and hugged Roman so tight he could've strangled him to death. "Ro, show me your wrist," Virgil said and rolled down Roman's sleeve.

"What's going on with you?" Roman asked and quickly pulled away. "Please. Show me," Virgil pleaded. Roman showed him his wrist that read a tattoo of a personal date of his. Virgil exhaled in relief and sat onto the couch. He heard Deceit laughing, though. The laughter became louder and more evil by the minute. Patton tapped Virgil's shoulder lightly and told him that the cookies were ready.

Virgil felt sick when approaching the kitchen - he couldn't even explain the feeling he had when he saw how Logan looked down at him. "Patton, may I use the restroom?" Virgil asked and backed up. "Of course you can-"

Virgil raced to the nearest bathroom and went through his pockets for the tips he was given for mental health and remaining calm. He found one of his anxiety easing pills and took it, taking deep breaths and reciting the poem he wrote for himself about being okay. Someone nocked on the door. Virgil put away the paper and dusted off his hands, opening the door to see Roman with a concerned face.

"Why are you so shaky? What's going on?" Roman asked and crossed his arms, Virgil new he had no choice but to tell the truth. Though it might be crazy, it's still what's really happening. It did take a few moments for him to be ready to even talk about who Deceit was. As well did it take a few seconds for him to believe he's telling the love of his life about how he grew up in a household with Roman's brother instead of him.

"Your brother and I met a long time ago. Remus and I, we were both disgraces to our family. Remember when your family separated you from your twin brother because he couldn't keep up with the private classes you two were being taught? When you were  only 7? I found him on the street and the two of us lived in my house until my father killed my mother. We packed up and ran away that night, and that's when he found us 9-year-olds lying on his front porch." Virgil just laughed hysterically and started to break down into tears. He rubbed his wet and red eyes, trying to clean himself up.

Virgil just glanced at the ground and blinked, letting tears run down his chees then hit the ground. "Who?" Roman asked and grabbed his hand, then wrapped his arms around Virgil.

"Deceit. He deals with black magic and he can do the supernatural. He's the only reason I think of the impossible." Virgil said softly and took small shaky breaths. "He's trying to ruin all of our friendship now. I tried leaving the dark sides, so now he's trying to do the unimaginable." Virgil said and tried to quiet down so he wouldn't be heard.

"Unimaginable?"

Virge sighed. "He's going to shape shift into one of us and start talking to us through that person. All of our insecurities are what he's going to use against us until he breaks us apart and unleashes our negativity." Virgil said and looked at Roman's expression that said 'why?'. "He wants to show me that you guys aren't good people." Virgil said in a soft tone and felt chills as another person knocked on the door.

Roman went and unlocked it. "Patton called you into the kitchen," Logan said and took a bite into his cookie. Roman nodded and left the bathroom, while Virgil followed closely behind. As they arrived into the kitchen, Virgil could smell something no one else did.

The smell of honey and cologne entered his nose. Patton gave Virgil his plate of cookies without speaking a word. It was only strange because Patton would ask, 'What's wrong kiddo?" or 'Are you alright, Virge?'. It's weird to not hear an emotionally or see a physically excited Patton. After at least an hour of playing games and things, everything seemed normal.

Virgil felt safer - calmer. As if Deceit wasn't there. The whole time he was, though. Deceit was learning their sins and insecurities. Learning what they hide from everyone else. Learning things that they wish to say to their friends, but won't. That night all four of them slept onto the floor of the living room, sleeping together after watching a movie.

As they woke up the next morning, Virgil was the only one still sleeping. What woke him up was an argument between Patton and Logan screaming at each other from upstairs. He sat up to see Roman sobbing against the wall. Him breaking down and hitting the wall caused Virgil to shoot up in tremendous guild and anxiety.

"What happened?!" Virgil yelled and ran over to Roman, looking at Roman scratching at his arms. Roman immediately pushed Virgil back, he couldn't stand to look at him at this point. His anger and pessimistic feelings overcame any hope he could have.

"You're such an asshole, Virgil! Using my brother's mistakes against me? It's not my fault my parents were narcissistic enough to kick them him out because they believed I was better! I loved my brother, too!" Roman screamed and pushed Virgil onto the ground. Virgil watched as their emotions became more violent. Roman fell to his knees and curled into a ball, Virgil only went forward and held his hand and told him sweet things, telling him it'll be alright.

But Roman could only hear everything but kindness and optimism.

"You're such a spoiled brat. A fan favorite with so much selfish energy that no one can stand you. Stop making everything about how you feel! You don't deserve love and you never shouldn't have received it in the first place! You're better off being killed in your sleep and no none attending your funeral! You're such a flamboyant and sinful person, burn in hell!"

Virgil was not saying those things, though. But he did know what Deceit was doing. Virgil could see the yellow aura around the house.

A bang was heard from upstairs. Immediately, Virge ran upstairs and saw as Patton and Logan screamed at each other from other sides of a room. It's strange for him to see them arguing. Virgil's used to seeing people argue and aggressively make out, but this they were actually angry. So angry that they wanted to hurt each other. Patton threw things at Logan that were soft, and weren't as powerful. But Logan, though, threw glass and heavy objects.

Tears came to Logan's eyes when he saw Patton fall after being hit on the head by Logan throwing a vase. "Are you happy now, Logan?!" Virgil screamed and ran over to Patton to pick him up and set him on the bed. Patton's unconscious body read fear. It read anger and even guilt.

"What did you do?" Virgil asked. "What did he say, Lo?" Virgil asked and held Patton's hand and checked his pulse.

"He said I called him an idiot and that I said he's unfaithful. He's not. He's never cheated on someone. But he does tell himself that he hates himself. He had his first therapy session today, but I guess he'll be late." Logan said and wiped his cold tears. "What did he say about you?" Virgil asked and left the room.

Logan only gulped and hesitated.

"Well?"

The sigh echoed slightly. "He told me I'm a spoiled boy who went to a private Catholic school. It's weird because I never told anyone I did." Logan said with a small chuckle. Virgil went over and picked up Roman, but struggled from the weight. Roman was now asleep, softly snoring. "And that's how you met Roman, yes?" Virgil asked and carried Roman onto the same bed Patton laid on.

Logan shook his head. "No. We met at therapy sessions. Every Sunday and Wednesday he would be there with one of his parents. Listening to Queen, coloring on his coloring book pages. I thought he was so cool. That's when my jealousy started, I guess." Logan said and chuckled a bit.

Virgil tilted his head and went to sit on the stairs. Logan followed, still standing. "And when did you start ignoring emotions?" Virgil asked.

Lo gulped. "When I got to 8th grade. I made a decision out of my own greed and pitiful morality, and it killed my younger brother, and hospitalized my sister. I told nyself I could never face my family again, nor my feelings. But when I do feel them, it's very strong. That's why I threw that vase at Patt, I guess." Logan said and ran fingers through his own hair.

"I'm gonna go get us something to eat, okay?" Virgil said and slipped on some shoes, grabbing his bag and going to the door. "Don't let Deceit get to you - and don't think of your sins." Virgil said and left the house.

Once he did, Logan heard voices. He saw snakes, too. Yellow ones. He saw green rats as well. As he didn't know what they meant, Logan could only freak out.

"You're as loyal as a dog, Logan." A deep voice said into his ear. "You're as strong as a bear, too." The voice said again, but this time with a chuckle. "Deranged like a Phoenix. But you will die like any man." The voice said in a more violent voice. As it started to laugh the snakes slithered onto Logan. Logan could not move, though. He could only feel the snakes going around them and tightening. Deceit showed himself and smirked when Logan began to give up. "You're weak for an All A student. Honor Roll, too. Show me your weakness, it's all I need." Deceit sais and came closer when he heard nothing from Logan.
"You told Patton you'd be right by his side for everything. You're such a terrible liar."

Logan gasped for air. "You'll have to try something more than strangling me to get a sin of mine from my mouth."

Deceit only half smiled. "I am the Master of Mecheif and Deceit, Logan. You'll only wish you were dead."
