Jace POV.

    I woke up and smiled. Today is gonna be a good Monday. I sent a text message to Liz and smiled.

    Good morning muffin.
                - Jace.

I had my shower, brushed my teeth. Wore jeans, grey v neck top and black sweater. And sneakers.

"Hey Jack!!" I greeted Jacklyn as she came out wearing tight jeans and red top.

"No baggy today?" I asked as I checked my phone.

"Nope. Steve come down here!!" Jack yelled and I saw a message from Elizabeth. I smiled.

"Who's that? Your 'girlfriend'?" Jack asked. I looked at her.

"She's not just my 'girlfriend', she's.... You can't understand!!" I said.

"Yeah, yeah. You love her!!" She said.

"I don't love her, I'm in  love with her. There's a difference Jack." I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Whatever!!"

"Steve!!" Jack yelled and I continued eating.

"Yes, you rudely called for me?" Steve asked. I giggled. This eleven year old is so mature.

"Yes I 'rudely' called for you. Finish your cereal and take your backpack!!" She ordered.

"Oh Jacklyn, you well know you aren't the one taking me to school." Steve replied.

"Steve Roman Hamilton!!" Jack said.

"Jacklyn Shae Hamilton!!" Steve said too.

"Both of you should shut up and relax!!" Philip said coming down.

"You're telling me to shut up?" Jack asked.

"Just saying!!" He said and we fist bump. He sat down and started his bacon and eggs.

I was eating pancakes. Jack Cheerios and Steve cereal.

"I can't believe you are leaving me in Diamond!!" Julian said.

"Awwn. Sorry, we'll remember you." Jack said.

"Julian you're driving Steve to school." Rachel said.

"Morning Mom!!"

"Hi Rachel!!" Jack, Philip and I said.

"Morning lovelies!!" She said blowing us kisses.

"I'm not dropping him off!!" Julian said.

"I'm not repeating." Rachel said.

"Nor am i!!" Julian said.

"Julian Romero Hamilton!!" Rachel said.

"Is it just me, or does mom loves saying our name in full when she wants to be firm?" Philip asked.

"We all do that." I said.

"Morning guys!!" Beckett said.

"Great, Beck you drop Steve off!!" Julian said.

"What the hell? No!!"

"You are!!" I closed my ears.

"It was supposed to be Jackie!!"

"Oh butt no!!"

"Mom told Julian to drop him off!!"

"Why are you....."

"SHUT UP!! ALL OF YOU!!" Steve yelled. And everywhere was silent.

"Julian is dropping me. End of discussion!!" Steve said and continued his cereal.

"Duuhh!!"

  I got to school and Jack wanted me to open the door for her. I opened the door for her and she came out.

I saw Elizabeth talking to Fiona and I smiled.

"Urgh, are you going to her or what?" Jack asked.

"I am Jack!!" I replied and she looked hot. So hot.

"Okay is it just me, or is everyone looking at us? Wait, let me rephrase that. Everyone is looking at you!!" She said.

"It's called, 'your brother is hot'." I said and she made a face like she wants to vomit.

"Bad Jack, bad!!" I said.

"What? Okay, so how do I look?" She asked me.

"You look amazing Jack. You're gonna do great!! And please do what normal kids do and socialize!!" I told her.

"Like have friends? Nah.., I'm good!!" She said and I sighed.

"When did you become a loner?" I asked her.

"When did you become a mom?" She asked and I sighed.

"I'm just looking out for you. I know how it is being alone and it's not a very good thing." I said.

"It's my life Jace. Not yours!!" She said and I shrug.

"Fine!!"

"Okay!!" I heard Elizabeth's voice as a smile came to my lips and I wrapped my hands round her waist.

"Jace!!" She muttered.

"Hey babe." I said and pecked her. Man, I feel so happy I can finally call her that and not feel bad. Gosh, I'm such a girl!!

"H-hey, what's up?" She stuttered.

"Good morning, did you get the package? Hey Fiona!!" I asked her. She nod.

"Hi Jace...., I hate being third wheel, so I'll just go. See you at lunch Liz." Fiona said and left. I turned to Liz.

"Man she won't give me a break!!" She said. I smiled.

"It's your duty. Man, you look hot!!" I complimented her. I smiled.

"And you look ravishing!!" She said. I smiled and she looked at me smiling too.

"So are we gonna go or what?" Jackie asked. Hands on her hip.

"Oh, Jackie. Didn't see you there!!" She said and Jack looked at her.

"I didn't see you either. Is my brother dating a dwarf or something?" Jack asked. These two.

"No, i think he has a pretty good girlfriend, you're just to blind to see it." Elizabeth said.

"Oh of course. Cause if I was blind, what will you be then?" Jack asked and Elizabeth scoff.

"Exactly. Now let's go!!" Jackie said and left.

"Man I like teasing her!!" Elizabeth said giggling. I shook my head in amusement.

"Just don't make this a regular thing. She gives me those eyes when she gets angry!!" I said.

Jack is full of different eyes. She has these eyes when she's angry, these eyes when she's happy, and these eyes when she's disappointed. It's not like she doesn't like Elizabeth, I feel she just doesn't want to show it. Since she was a kid,  Jack never liked showing emotions even when I taught her how to ride a bike which she badly wanted to know.

"Yeah, yeah whatever!!" She said walking to the halls.

"No seriously!!" I said and walked to me so we can go together.

"She's sarcastic and she feigns badass." Elizabeth said.

"Jack is badass. I think she's gonna be rouge than Cin herself!!" I said.

"Who can ever overpower me?" I heard a voice and turned to see Cin and James dragging James' ear. Really?

"Jace's kid sister, Jackie!!" Elizabeth replied.

"Jacklyn?" James asked and I nod giving him a half hug.

"Don't call her that. Jackie or Jack!! But I like teasing her so I call her Jacklyn sometimes!!" Elizabeth said.

"Nice. Just like when I hate it when Toby calls me Cinnamon!!" Cinnamon said.

Well, I should totally shorten her name like they do.

"Yeah. Oh and...., Good morning!!" Elizabeth said and they high five.

"What did he do." Elizabeth asked Cin.

"He knows." Cin replied.

"Release him." Elizabeth said.

"Urghhh!"

"Papa bear!!" She said and hugged James. My nose scrunched up. Jealous much? Hell yeah.

"So, what are you guys now?" James asked.

I held her hand firmly, gosh I like her soft hands. So nice, so perfect.

"Now do you know?" I asked James.

"Cool bro." James said and gave me a bro hug.

"Okay, okay. Before you guys do anything mushy, mushy. Don't make me feel like the fifth wheel!!" Mia said coming.

"Hey honey drop!!" Elizabeth said and she smiled.

"Good morning guys. Jace Jace!!" She said hugging everyone except Cinnamon.

"Is hugging everybody in vouge now?" Jonathan asked coming and hugging Mia from behind.

"Get off me Jonathan!!" She said.

Jonathan whispered something in her ear and she had this red thing on her cheeks that girls do when they are excited or..... Wait, Jace, it's called blushing.

"Oh you guys just date already!!" Simon came with Ivy and Spencer.

"No, he's gonna be a single like us forever!!" Desmond said coming too.

"Hey Desmond, I thought you and this girl Ellie are together?" Eddie came with Genevieve.

"Hey Gen!!" Elizabeth said.

"Hi!!" She said and hugged she and Mia.

"Yeah, boobs too small!!" Desmond replied.

"Dayhmmm!!" The boys said.

I was too comfortable holding Elizabeth's hands to talk too. But who likes small boobs? I looked at Elizabeth. Nope, my girl's blessed. She caught me staring at her and I just looked away shyly. Okay, now I'm blushing. God I don't like that.

"Like your little friend isn't small either!!" James said. Whoo. I laughed as well as everyone.

"Fuck you James. Fuck. you." Desmond said and the rest of the guys came in. We all laughing.

"I knew James was always sticking his eyes in his space when he was having shower in the locker rooms!!" Jonathan said. I smiled.

"Shut up before we talk about your dick!!" Spencer said.

"Oh really?" Jonathan asked and we all rolled our eyes.

"The girls die for it. They mainly ask for it. Size of holy fucking....."

"Oh yeah yeah. We get, we get. It's big. It's stupid!!" Mia said and we all giggled at that.

"Oh shut up!!"

"So guys, surprise surprise, we have four couples!!" Mia squealed. Urgh, Mia.

Always the bubbly one. It's not like I'm keeping us a secret. I just want to tell them myself. And as well keep them in suspense cause what's the fun in telling people straight?

"I knew it, I knew it, Jonathan has joined the 'high school romance' group!!" Frank said. Ariana who was beside me came to the front swaying her non existent hips.

"You're just sad because yours got broken and he gat something you don't!!" Ariana said and left.

"Whoo!!!!" Jonathan said. Everyone was silent and the bell rang.

"Okay, sorry Frank. But fyi, it's Jace and Elizabeth!!" Mia said.

"Saw it coming!!" The boys said and dragged me with them. They took me to the empty room and I raised my eyebrows.

"And why exactly am I here?" I asked.

"Okay, first thing first. You know how close Beth and I am? Like we're siblings. And I'll do anything to protect her?" James asked. I nod.

"And you know Liz has been good to all of us? She helps and cares for us. And we can't watch her cry over you when you hurt her." Simon said.

"And she's been the most amazing person ever." Jonathan chipped in as he walked in.

"So promise you won't break her heart!!" James said.

"I promise!!" I said.

"Swear on your mother's life!!"

"Ouch!!"

"Skip. Swear on Philip's life!!"

"Wait, why am I being dragged in this?"

"Why is he here anyway?"

"Life guys..... Life!!"

"Alright, guys, before you lose it and hurt Philip and make me swear on my late Mama's life, or Philip's life, whatever. I won't break her heart. I'll be torn if i did that!! And I'll never forgive myself, because she is as important and special to me as she is to you. And I'm in love with her so much......"

"Okay, we don't want to hear about your love for her. Let's go!!" Desmond said.

"Or we'll be late to class." Eddie said.

"Or more less, receive DETENTION!!" Jonathan hollered and we all left to class making jokes and later got late to class.

Gave him an aud and traded one to Jonathan for 30 percent of his Christmas check. Which was up to a million dollars.

I got to my study at my free period cause the teachers sick. And I sat there in silence, reading a book and taking breaks to meditate, it was times like this i loved having. Where I was alone in my world, starring into space, reading with coffee or pizza and smiling. Now that made perfect sense. And I loved it. I loved every bit of it and I always loved to savor the moment.

I had a knock on my door, my heart thumped. Elizabeth? I stood up and opened the door smiling until I saw Courine.

"H-hey, what...., What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Not that I don't want you here or anything...." Gosh, not able to talk to outsiders except Jack and Philip, Elizabeth or James, or Beckett, or Julian, though he's a quiet nerd. And sometimes Stefan which usually ended up in a fight, is a huge problem.

"Yeah, the sign made it clear." She said and I smiled.

"Yeah, that was..., Come in!!" I said. She got in and I did too.

"So uhmm, Jace. I came to uhmm, beg you to help me talk to Philip. Gosh, he annoys me!!" She said.

"Tell me about it." I said.

It amused me to watch them rant. Philip liked her, it was a fact. And Courine hates him. That's a challenge and Philip wanted to win. He had always been competitive, always getting everything he wanted. And sometimes he missed, he outgrows but I don't think he'll back away from Courine.

"He thinks that he's the best. He thinks that I like him and I don't. And with all his flirting, he...., He would spoil my chances with Tyrell!!" She sobbed.

"Oh darling, you see. I- I don't really know much about relationships. I've...., I've never been in one. I'm in one and we're just days old. But I think you could give Philip a chance? Maybe just hear him out. Go on an harmless date with and then you would make the choice either to be friends with him....., Or not!!" I told her.

"O....Kay. but if he continues bluffing, I'm shutting him out!!" She said.

"Do whatever you want Courine. But honestly, I think he likes you!! I know Philip since he was a kid and he has never looked at anyone the way he looks at you." I told her. She blushed.

"Whatever!! Thanks for hearing me out anyways. Oh and congratulations on dating Liz. You're perfect together!!" She said.

"Oh, well...., Thanks!!" I said.

Now it was my turn to blush.

    Lunch, i went with Elizabeth after we met at her locker and I held her hands as we walked into the cafeteria, and I smiled. Finally, I could do this. I could feel the air in my hair, I could feel her warm, soft hands in mine. And I could walk boldly in the cafeteria and yell 'yes, this is my girlfriend. You gat a problem with that?'.

As soon as sat, they cheered and I started eating cause God I was hungry.

"So, a new girl came today. Her name is Jacklyn!!" Desmond said.

"Hey, hey. Dude." I said and they all looked at me.

"She's my sister. And I won't advise you to go with her!!" I added.

I love my sister. I really do. But Jack was trouble, mixed with bunch of sarcasm and mischief. And she makes guys run away from her like she was a witch and would make their life hell. She's controlling and likes doing things her own way.

"But the term is almost over." Eddie said.

"She's gonna kick your ass!!" Philip said. Exactly.

"Oh hey there Philip!!" Elizabeth said and I smiled as i heard her voice.

"Hey Liz. See you've gotten my bro!!" Philip said. I rolled my eyes at him. But it was still cute.

"What can I say?" She asked and Philip nod.

"Anyways, I've been chasing one girl......"

"Courine doesn't like you!!" Cin said and Philip grumbled. I smiled as I remembered my little encounter with Courine.

"She will!!" He argued.

"First of all. Courine has a guy she likes so...."

"Who is he?" Philip asked Fiona and my dessert was a muffin, so I turned and fed Elizabeth and she blushed.

"I don't know. But I think his name is Tyrell!!" Fiona said and she drank her milkshake afterwards.

"God Philip, you don't have to force her!!" Elizabeth said and continued eating. I drank my lemonade.

"I'm not gonna force her. I just wanna show her that I like her and she's not gonna get anyone better than ME." He said and I smirked.

"Aiit. But one thing you should know, is that when you're to cocky, you miss her. She hates bluffers." Cin said.

"Yeah, every girl hates that!!" Mia said.

And Jonathan's face became goofy like he would stop bluffing. For Mia, of course. Gosh, why won't they  just date?

"Yeah, thanks for the advice!!" Philip said and left. I hope he doesn't screw up.

"He's really serious about Courine." Elizabeth said and I could feel her preparing to leave and that made me sad.

"Yeah poor guy." Ivy said.

I turned to Elizabeth, she pecked me on the lips and told me bye and others. And left. I wanted her to stay longer. But she has duties and responsibilities. I sighed as I stood up too and left.

  School was over and I was walking to my locker whistling when a girl came up to me and opened her locker. I continued whistling and took my backpack.

"Excuse me, can you stop whistling?" She asked me. I looked at her.

"Why should I?" I asked her.

"Because it's irritating!!" She replied and brought a book. Wuthering heights.

"Nice book you got there." I told her and closed my locker.

"Are you kidding? It's the most boring book I've ever crossed path with!!" She said and I smiled.

"Seems so......., But it's actually pretty good. I love books like that!!" I said.

"You must be a boring person." She said and I chuckled.

"Not really....,"

"Michal. Junior." She said.

"Jace!!" I said and she smiled.

"So what other 'boring' books do you like reading?" She asked.

"Shakes....  "

"Don't even complete his name. I don't like his books. One bit!!" She said and I laughed.

"They have a pretty good plot!!" I said.

"Yeah if you know what's best for you. Why don't you read more interesting books. I hate Romeo the most. I mean, why would you fucking take your life because your partner died?" She asked.

"He felt he couldn't live without her." I argued.

"Oh and he didn't okay?" She said and I shrug.

"Juliet was more stupid though." She added.

"Well, in any case, they died because of love!!" I said.

"Then I hate love!!" She said.

"Oh, have you ever been in love?" I asked her.

"No, I don't know." She said.

"Then you can't actually say." I said.

"And what about you?" She asked. I smiled.

"I love love. And in fact, I'm in love with love!!" I replied her.

"You must be a romantic." She said.

"Please....,"

"No, I think every girl would like romantic guys." She said putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Unfortunately, not everyone will!!" She said and I felt someone hold my hands.

"Hey Jace!!" I heard that voice. What does she mean by that.

"So I'm gonna go. See you!!" She said and left.

"Who is she?" Elizabeth asked.

"A love hater." I replied as I put my hands round her waist.

"How was your day?" I asked her as we strolled to the parking lot.

"Stressful....., Was she flirting with you?" She asked me. Her eyes narrowed and I smirked.

"Jealous?" I asked.

"No, just curious!!" She replied.

"Okay. We all know curiosity....., Kills the cat!!" I told her. She looked at me and said.

"Did you smile at her?"

"Of course I did. I smile a lot." I said.

"You can't just smile to anyone. That smile of yours can melt anyone's heart and you know it!!" She said.

"So I'm not allowed to smile at anyone?" I asked.

"Maybe...."

"That's utterly rubbish!!" I said.

"It's not to me. It's a way of....."

"Muffin, look at me....., You have nothing to be afraid off. Don't you trust me?" I asked her.

"I trust you. But i don't trust her or any other girl who decides to flirt with you!!" She said.

"It's the same thing muffin!!" I said.

"It's not. Trusting you to be loyal but not trusting them to flirt with you. It's different!!" She said.

"Well she wasn't flirting." I told her.

"Are you sure cause those eyes she was giving you tells it all!!" She said.

"I thought it was cute." I said plainly and she scoffed.

"Cute?....., You thought the way she was looking at you was cute?" She asked me her eyes filled with hurt.

"Muffin...."

"I have to go home. I'll see you later!!" She said and walked away.

"Elizabeth!!" I called but she was already gone. And that made my heart bleed.
