It's the thirty-first of December. I rolled out of bed with Cin after having a pillow fight.

Mia and Jonathan had a serious argument and didn't want to spend time with us but we managed to drag her with us. Wearing dark purple skirt, black leggings, black top and blue cardigan. With dark blue boots. I wore a beret, and gloves.

"Let's go!!" James said and put an ear muff on me.

"Thanks!!" I told him.

"You're welcome!!" He said.

"You know, I don't like it when you guys fight." James said.

"I don't like it either. But sometimes, you just have to fight!!" I told him.

"Jace told me he told you......"

"I don't want to know what he said!!" I said.

"Really? Cause he said something nice." He said. My heart skipped a beat.

"Like?" I asked.

"You're stubborn and you won't let him land!!" James replied. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, that's me!!" I said and walked off. I entered the car containing, Toby, Philip, Hunter, Fiona and I. Toby on the wheels.

   We got to the garden and sat, we played a lot of games, told each other what we're gonna do and achieve in new year. When it was Jace turn, he just said he was gonna have a nice year. We even played truth or dare. And the end results were Cin mad at James.

Mia more angrier at Jonathan. Fiona kissing Philip which made Hunter burn. Cause I saw it in his eyes that he was mad. Jayden giving Jace a wet Willy and Ruby mad. I don't know why she was mad, but I just saw her eyes. No one asked me questions. I didn't know why. But I just walked away and went to the lake. I stood there admiring the lake when I heard footsteps.

"I want to be alone." I said.

"Not how I expected the 31st to be like!!" I heard him say. Puh-lease.

"Thanks to who?" I asked.

"Elizabeth....."

"Don't Elizabeth me. I'm sorry I'm not patient yes. I'm sorry I'm to curious. But sometimes I wish..... I wish I knew you more." Elizabeth said.

"There is nothing about me you don't know!!" He said.

"Like why you wear hoodies?" I asked him.

"Elizabeth, you're friends with me even though you didn't know anything about me. And you've always been there. There's nothing more relevant to show you about me." He said

"But...."

"What is a person Elizabeth? I showed you my face, my personalities. My favorite places in the world. My best friend. My sister. My home. What else?" He asked me. I sighed.

"I just feel, if you had freedom, we could have fun than....."

"We're having fun without even knowing why I'm a hoodie guy, don't we?" He asked. I thought about it and groaned.

"Urgh.... Why are you right?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He said and sat beside me.

"You said you wanted to take me somewhere." I told him.

"It's here Elizabeth." He said. I looked at me.

"Just here?" I asked him

"Well....." He let out his hand. I looked at him.

"Trust me!!" He said. I sighed and held his hand. He led me to the woods.

"Are you sure we should be here? It's dark!!" I said

"Told you I'm a vampire!!" He said

"Oh right!!" I said and i saw a glimpse of light. Then Jace opened the flowers and I saw light stands.

"Awwwn!!" I said.

"Don't 'awwn' me. It's amazing!!" He said. I shrug and he smiled.

"How about some late dessert?" He asked. I smiled

"Yup. Yup!!" I said. He brought out the chair for me.

"Thanks!!" I said and sat. He went to his chair and sat too.

"So is this your Christmas gift?" I asked him.

"Maybe..... Maybe not!!" He said. I smiled and I opened the plate. Awwn!! It's a muffin, and jam which says.

   ' hope you like it?'

"I love it!!" I said and dipped into it.

  We started talking, about friends. School and stuff and my alarm started.

"Oops. It's almost 12. It's 11: 50!!" I told him.

"Whoa. We used 3 hours here?" He asked. I raised my shoulders. Time is not always on our side love. 🙈🙈.

"Do you wanna dance?" He asked. I smiled and nod. I don't know where the beat came from but I knew there was music. We danced waltz. Then Tango, and when the music was over, he slipped to my back and raised my head up.

"It's 11:58!!" He said

"Wait ... Let's go meet the others!!" I told him

"Wait, but ...."

"We should count down with them." I told him. He nod.

"Okay!!"

  We got to the fields and we all gathered, we got into a circle and held each other.

"Goodbye 2018. I'll miss you!!" Cin said.

"Goodbye 2018!!" We all said after one another.

"Welcome to 2019..... In 5....."

The fireworks exploded and my lips were on someone's. I knew who they were. I couldn't mistake it. I don't know, but I felt something cold, like metal on my neck. After the fantastic passionate kiss, we broke away and hugged.

"What does it say?" I asked him.

"Barbie likes Muffin!!" He replied. My heart wanted to explode.

"And want to be friends forever with it!!" He said. That did it. I pulled away from him.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"That....."

"Why I've you been doing this? Kissing me? Being sweet and even telling me you like me and then saying you want to be friends forever?" I asked him.

"Elizabeth...."

"Well, okay. If that's how it's gonna be. Then I'm not having a friends with benefits. We'll be strictly friends and I don't want to hear you say you like me!!" I said and walked away.

He's so frustrating. And handsome. And fucking stupid!! Can't he see he's hurting my feelings? Can't he see I like him. Can't he see all he's been doing is making me go nuts? I always feel in cloud 9 when ever he kisses me. I always like it when he's around me. And the only thing he does is kiss me and say we should be friends.

"It's like he's taking advantage of me!!" I told Cin.

"Boys are crazy!!" Mia huffed.

"Guys, one, Elizabeth. You're right about this one. But I think you should tell him how you feel. Dosen't hurt. And Two. Mia, what's with you and Jayden?" Cin asked.

"One, I'm not gonna tell him. If he thinks he can do that and get away with it. Then two can play this game. In fact, the first thing to do when I'm back to school is get a boyfriend!!" I said.

"And nothing is wrong with Jayden and i!!" Mia spat.

"Liz, you can't date another person when your heart Is with another person!!" Cin said.

"Okay then. I'll remain single, and be friends with Jace. And never ever like him again!!" I said

"Whatever. If you can't tell Jace how you feel about him. Then do whatever you please!!" She said.

"Thank you." I said and sat on the bed.

"Now, Mia what's wrong?" Cin asked.

"I don't know. I just feel stupid!!" Mia said.

"Can I have my girlfriend back now?" James yell from the doorway.

"No!!" We all yell.

"Why do you feel stupid?" Cin asked Mia. She looked at me then Cin. Did it again and sighed.

"Nothing!!" She said. We that she stood and left. I and Cin looked at each other.

  So weird.

  The next day and bye bye to England. I sat with Toby chatting about all we're going to do when we get back to school. Jace was stuck with Philip and they fought almost every time. And it resulted to Philip getting a bruise.

We got back to America and I was tired. I met only Betty and Dad at home. Eliza had gone back to LA saying she has a film to shoot. With her crush!!

Dad pecked me. Giving me a Lamborghini for a present and Betty gave me expensive designers. Eliza sent me a gift. It was a horse. A very beautiful horse and I kept it at Cin's. I had dinner and went to sleep. I can't wait to go to school tomorrow!!

   The next day, I wore blue top, black crop sweater and brown leather jacket. Dark blue jeans and brown ankle boots. I did a nude make up and just left my hair combed, putting on a red beanie and black gloves. I felt someone touch me. I looked down to see Honey. Awwwn!! He looks so cute. I carried him.

"Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" I said and carried my backpack with my left hand,  Honey with my right and went down.

"Valencia, where is Kil?" I asked her. Kilia, or Kil is a maid in the house also. And Midge, and.... Who again? Whoever, only two people are important. Val and Kil.

"She's in her quarters!!" Valencia replied.

"Getting cozy." Fiona said.

"Wait, Fiona, you're still around?" I asked her.

"Yeah. Oh My God, I love seeing your puppy!!" Fiona said and carried honey.

"Talking about her. I need dog food. A cage for him and I don't want it to be delayed. Watch over her and nothing must happen to her!!" I said.

"Consider it done. Breakfast is on the table." She said

"What do we have today?" I asked carrying honey from Fiona.

"Tuna melt sandwich and muffin. Plus hot chocolate!!" Fiona replied as i sat and she handed me the towel.

"Thank you!!" I said and placed it on my lap.

"Why ain't you in school?" I asked her.

"I'll be in school tomorrow." She said. I looked at her.

"Spill it!!" I told her.

"Nope don't worry!!" She said and left.

   When I was done and ready for school, I saw her going in.

"Fiona tell me!!" I told her.

"I'm fine!!" She said but I can see in her eyes she's wounded.

"Fiona tell me what's wrong and....."

"My mom is sick okay!!" She burst out.

"She's very sick so I have to work to earn money for her bills." She said.

"Again? I thought her pneumonia was cured?" I asked her.

"I don't even know. She did some scans and she's sick. They said her lungs are getting weak and....."

"Shhh. It's okay!!" I said when I saw she was crying.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked her.

"I don't know. Work for money and take online classes. Then I'll go back to school maybe before the term Is over!!" She said.

"Why didn't you tell me. I would've......"

"No thanks Liz. You've helped so much and I'm okay." She said.

"Okay, well, I'm looking for a personal assistant. Someone just like you." I told her.

"Really? How much do you pay?" I asked her.

"Her mom's hospital bills!!" I said.

"But I'll be working for you. For years cause the money's much and....."

"Till the year finishes. I mean, I only have less than a year for high school!!" I told her.

"Right. When can I start?" She asked.

"Well, one is maybe being an Audrounian!!" I said.

"No way!!! Their fees are to expensive to....."

"Leave that....... To me!!"

"I've got a new chick Owen. Treat her gently. She's new, freshman and she's going to be in the soccer team!!" I told him.

"But....."

"No buts, do what I asked you to do." I said.

"But ...."

"Owen, I'm transferring to the music class. I'm tired of that stupid art class. Consider it done!!" A girl barged in and said and left.

"That's....."

"Susan Grantz." He replied.

"Great. Now do it and....."

"Owen, don't you think the balls in the gym are to much? Please and please reduce it!!" A girl said.

"Lovely, I can't just....."

"Consider it done. Besides, there are tons of people waiting to see you. And we have lunch!!" She said and left.

"And she's....."

"Lovely Colorado!!" He replied.

"Okay....., So you have a lot on your shoulders!!" I told him.

"Uhmm, yeah. And I have to juggle both school and sports. Plus I'm slacking off in my sport. I missed a lot of practice and we come second place!!" He said

"Well, Owen. You can't do both!!" I told him.

"So what you are trying to say is to leave one?" He asker.

"No. Well, maybe, I....."

"Owen....."

"Get your lazy asses to lunch and leave Owen alone!!" I spat, she immediately closed the door and I turned to Owen.

"What am saying is. Sometimes we just have to choose!! To choose between this and that. And you're doing a great job Owen. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise!!" I said.

"Thanks Liz. What you said is really right!!" He said.

"Elizabeth, I want you..... To be my assistant. Please!!" He said.

"Yeah what now? I also have track teams!!" I told him.

"Yah but your coach's got a new guy now. Very fast!!" He said.

"Name....."

"Zack Quimby!!" He said.

"From?"

"Washington, Dad American, Mom, Mexican. Very handsome. 12th grade. Came to Audroun in 10th grade. Very nice and has a lot of speed!!" Owen said.

"Okay. Coach can't just replace me. I'm his champion!!" I told him.

"Anyways. Are you gonna be my assistant or....."

"Nah. I think I'll pass!!" I said.

"Think about it. If there's anyone. It'll be you." He said.

"Thanks. Don't keep your hopes up!!" I said and left his office.

"How was it?" Fiona asked.

"Great. Gotten your Auds?" I asked her.

"Yup." She said.

"Good. Now it's very important to keep the Auds. Its very important and stay out of trouble. Now where is my next destination?" I asked her.

"Lunch!!"

"Audroun?"

"I knew you'll come back for me!!" I heard that annoying voice.

"Philip........ What is he doing here?" I asked Spencer.

"What? He's really good!!" He replied eating his sushi.

"Yeah. I had a great teacher. Now, anyone up for a welcome party?" Philip asked.

"No." We all replied.

"Oh please." Philip said.

   Attention students.

We heard from the speakers and the TV showed Principal Hydra.

"Here are some announcements. My wedding is this weekend and here are list of people invited.

1. James Orchard.
2. Levi Reed.
3. Stanley Jacobs.
4. Spencer McArthur.
5. Owen Stark.
6. In your various clubs, you can pick a representative and please comport yourselves. I do not want to see Cinnamon Chambers in the wedding. And lastly, Elizabeth Nelson has been chosen to be our dearest class president assistant Owen Stark! If you don't want her to be vice president, you can voice out.

"What. The. Fuck!!" I muttered.

"Whoo. Class president assistant!! Is that a post?" Simon asked.

"Well, Owen's bringing Audroun badge so it's sure a post!!" Eddie said. I turned to see Owen.

"I could kill you Owen!!" I told him.

"Patience Liz. Patience!!" He said. He gave me a.....

"Is this a contract?" I asked Owen.

"You'll do good!!" Philip said.

"Wait, what the fuck? You can't just choose her without going through a fucking election!!" Cin said.

I looked at Owen, under those smiles and charms. I could see 'tiredness' 'hurt' 'sadness'. Last year, we all witnessed how Nora broke up with him saying he doesn't have time for her. I remembered how students just come with orders and he must fufill them. I saw how tired he is every time after school. Plus sports. School. Home. Though he's the only child or son I guess. Cause i think I heard a rumour that he has a ugly sister. All this made me say...

"Yeah. I'll be your assistant!!" I told him.

"Really?" He asked.

"Beth, are you sure?" James asked.

"Yeah. I'm sure." I said

"It's a lot of work I won't lie. But it's bearable!! And with the two of us working hand in hand....."

"Plus Fiona!!" I added.

"Yeah!!" Fiona said.

"We'll be done." Owen said. So I looked at James.

"Please. Pretty please!!" I begged.

"Fine. But if this thing over stresses you, leave it immediately!!" James told me.

"Yeah. Thank you!!" I said. I read the contracts, on take your daughter to work day, dad told me to 'Always read business contracts.'

  After signing, everyone wanted me to be vice president, i wore the badge and swore to give my best to Audroun and make the school a better place to learn. Hydra called a emergency assembly. He swore me in and i can't believe I also have an office. It's so beautiful, but a small door leads to Owen. Just at my left, so Owen can come in anytime. I asked for a little desk and chair for Fiona. So in my office, I have a desk and chair, a sofa, shelves and lockers. a TV which is for Audroun purposes, like if Hydra want to make an announcement, Audroun history, a record of all the students and past. Always updated by the class president, whoa. He's really trying. Or the school's reporters consisting of five people. They're like a club.

1. Miranda Morris - anchor.
2. Reece Fisher - ass. Anchor.
3. Lukas woods - reporter.
4. Emma Morgan - reporter.
5. Willis Booth - filmaker, he's a camera man but let's just say it in a nice way.

They report news, anything that happens in Audroun and also reports from the student governor. Who are three. Two boys, one girl. Gilbert and Shawn Timbers. They're twins. And Akilah Roberts. So many people to know, and I haven't had lunch. After school, the first thing I did was to go to the Track team to see how good he is. The first thing i noticed was that he is nice. He is handsome, so handsome. Not as handsome as Jace though. That one is a special case. Wait. I haven't even said hello to him.

"Hi....." He said.

"Hey!!" I said and he smiled. He had a cute smile but not like Jace's. Urgh!! Get off my head. He had brunette hair, hazel eyes and we'll pointed nose. With a warm smile.

"So, you're from Washington!!" I said.

"So, you're the vice president!!" He said.

"Yah."

"Nelson, Quimby, over here!!" Coach said. I went to him and so did Zack.

"Congratulations Elizabeth. You're Audroun class vice president!!" He said.

"Yeah and......"

"You won't be able to have time for the track team!!" He said.

"I can do both!!" I said. He looked at me with disbelief.

"Are you sure? I'll put in a good word for you and you've impressed me." He said.

"But....."

"You've won so medals and you've been a good girl except for this past weeks. So you can resign. But if you want to continue, you can. Just advising you kid!!" He said. Well......

"Okay. But, I get to have a compensation!!" I said.

"A statue?"

"Yup!!"

"Liz, you are a class vice president, if I'm not around. You're in charge. And if you're in charge, what you do affect how they will see you and me and everyone in the student government!!" He said.

"What did I do?" I asked.

"A statue? Everyone will think because you're vice president, you get to have anything and it isn't true. We have to show we're equal!" He said.

"But we're not. Well, we're humans but a vice president rules and controls!!" I said.

"Yes, but in a good way. Being a president isn't all about giving rules, orders, powers. It's all about what you give and do for the benefit of others. And one thing you must know about being president is how to be a good leader. Liz, I didn't choose you because i just wanted someone, it's because of what i see in you. You're different from the other populars and people like you a lot. You're kind hearted and you love doing your best!!" He said. Okay.

"Fine. But i need to learn!!" I said.

"It's not gonna be easy, i know. But you can do it." He said.

"First, you have to attend your first meeting with the student body." He said.

"Okay...... Can Fiona come with us?" I asked him.

"Yeah yeah yeah whatever!!"

  Whoa. The meeting was quite interesting, I didn't know Spencer's a stud gov or Jonathan. Whoa. And this guy. Archie Luther. Was very funny and made everywhere funny.

Fiona did the work of serving food and drink. She also made few ideas and they were impressed. One thing we were thinking of is to find our Principal a wedding gift. We decided on giving him a flower pot since Cin destroyed his other one. And getting him a stylist that can be with him forever cause boy he needs that hair stylist. And lastly, a Ferrari. Then we talked about budgets, and after a lot of calls and all, gosh they know people. We were done. I checked the time. 6:30pm. Whoa. We rounded up and we all departed. Fiona and I went out to a Starbucks cause we were hungry. Fiona got caught up in work she couldn't even go out to buy stuffs.

"Well done Fiona. You impressed me!!" I told her.

"Well, I get paid." She said. I smiled

"Oh. Let's take a selfie and post it!!" I told her.

"First meeting." I said and I took it.

I posted i and before I could drop my phone,  I had a buzz. Great, who's...... Oh!! I cleared my throat and declined it.

"Liz....."

"Look Fiona. I don't want any drama anymore!! I want to live high school. When I'm caught up in the work, I won't remember him or even miss him. I'll work out fine." I said.

"You do know that besides liking him, he's your friend." She said. My phone started buzzing.

"You want to help him cause you gat his back and care for him. You can't because of some stuff distant yourself from him and you guys fight." She said. She's right. I sighed.

"Fine!!" I said and picked it.

"Yeah!!" I said.

"I'm at the cottage. Can you please come over?" He asked.

"But, I have a lot of things to ......"

"Elizabeth please!!" He begged.

"Fine. Be there in 20!" I said.

"Thanks darling!!" He said and hang up.

Darling? I blushed. 😊. We quickly finished food in 5 minutes and I drove Fiona home. I saw Honey sleeping in his cage in my room, he just covered his eyes. Soooo cute. I grabbed sweats, sneakers, hoodie, beret and muffin. In case I'll have to sleep there.

  I got to the cottage and knocked, the door opened and I saw Jonathan. Ohkay!!

"Who else is in?" I asked.

"James and Jace!!" He replied. I entered the cottage and the familiar scent got me. Cocoa!!! I sat on the couch.

"Where's Jace?" I asked Jonathan.

"Kitchen!!" He replied. I nod.

"KK."

"There's my vice president!!" I heard James. He came and pecked me.

"How's the meeting? Did you enjoy it?" He asked.

"It was..... Okay." I replied.

"Hey Jo. You never told me you were a stud gov!!" I told him.

"Well let's say I keep things." He said and smirked.

"Like my awesome body. Don't drool too much!!" He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Duh!!"

"Why weren't you this hyper in England?" James asked him tossing him a coke.

"Well, I wanted to be a big fat ol' gentle idol." He said.

"That.... That dosen't make sense." I said.

"Well it does." He said. I looked at him.

"Fine. Nothing really happened. I just..... "

"You and Mia?" I asked.

"No!!" He said sharply.

"Okay guys. We are only waiting for one person." I heard Jace say. He sat close to me giving me a drink.

"And the person is?" I asked shifting and avoiding gaze with him.

"Someone!!" He snapped and stood up to sit with Jonathan.

"Okay!!" I said. Then there was a knock.

"He's here!!" Jonathan said and I looked at door. Jonathan opened it and someone entered. I gasped.
