Two years and some months ago.

"Hey guys!!" I said as I and Kelvin sat down.

"Fuck!!" Cin said and James shook his head.

"Give me my fifty bucks!!" Cin said.

"Beth!!" James purred.

"What?" I asked.

"What's it?" Mia asked sitting.

"Iza and Kelvin are dating!!" Cin said.

"What? Oh my Gosh. I always knew you guys will end up together. Oh my God. I need to ship you. Uhmm, Vinth? Lizin? Uhmm..... I got it!! Keth!!" Mia said.

"Well....."

"Say cheese!!" Mia said.

"Cheese!!" I said and she took a picture.

"Hey Kelvin, listen up. If you ever, and I mean ever hurt Beth. I'm killing ya!!" James said.

"I will never break her heart!!" He said and pecked me.

"Awwn. They're so cute!!" Mia said.

"Whatever!!" Cin said as she stole James' apple.

"Cinnamon Chambers..... How many times have I told you you not to eat my......"

"Shut up and eat." Cin said and ate. Kelvin and I laughed. And Mia joined it too.

"Whatever!!"

We went bowling, which he won actually. You can't blame me, I suck at bowling. We played games and I won. After wasting ourselves out. We went to a restaurant.

"That was fun!!" He said. I nod. And if you want to know. Tonight has been going nice. Nothing is telling me tonight is bad. Break up!! I just think we need sometime. And I felt I should tell Kelvin about Jace and i. I cleared my throat.

"Kel, there's something important I need to tell you!!" I told him. He nod.

"Yeah I'm listening!!" He said.

"Uhmm..... You know Jace and I have been....." I coughed and drank water.

"Oh my gosh, how will I say this?" I said.

"We're totally good friends. And one day, we just kissed!!" I said. And he looked at me. I laughed.

"It's so funny right?" I said and gave a nervous giggle and hit my chest and drank some water. I expected him to say something but he being silent was making me go nuts!!!

"Uhmm.... Okay!!" He said.

"You like..... Mouth to mouth. Like lips and lips?" He asked.

"Yeah!!" I said. He sighed.

"Look I'm sorry....."

"Do you like him?" He asked him.

"What? No!!" I said. Liar!? Wait.... I don't like Jace. I like him as a friend. Good!!

"So you just like kissed but you're not in it?" He asked me.

"Yeah. It's like the shit never happened!!" I said and he nod.

"Oh-kay!!" He said.

"It's alright. It's totally alright!!" He said grinning clenching his fist and drank water. And I gave a nervous giggle.

"Right!!"

"Goodnight!!" I said. He nod.

"See you tomorrow!!" He said.

"Yah!!" I said  and I unbuckled my seatbelt.

"Is he a better kisser?" He asked. Yeah!! Way too good!!!

"I don't know. I wasn't really into it!!" I said. You just keep lying don't you?

"Okay!!" He said.

"Yeah!!" I said and I opened the door.

"Is he closer to you than we are?" He asked him. I sighed and turned.

"I'm sure you can answer that yourself!!" I said. I pecked him and left the car.

I got to my room and laid on my bed. My phone beeped and I checked it.

     Goodnight muffin. See ya tomorrow!! Oh and I had a nice time today. But now I'm thinking I'm the one that made the day interesting cause I'm the great person!!!😀😀. And then I know you'll be like, idiot. But remember you love me.

I rolled my eyes and giggled. I  went to the bathroom and had my bathe. I changed to my PJs and carried muffin.

"I hate PE!! Mia complained as we changed to our outfits and got out.

"It's fucking exercise Mia!!" Cin said.

"Yeah. Like you should partner up with James and I on our running expenditure every morning!!" I told her.

"Wait, you guys run every fucking morning?" Cin asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Oh well..... Great he didn't invite me!!" She said.

"Lazybones!!" I said.

"You don't understand how my feets hurt. Besides, how was your date yesterday?" Cin asked.

"It was nice!!" I said.

"Look at you two. Having boyfriends. And leaving me out of everything!!" She complained.

"Go get yours then!!" I said.

"Jayden's here. " Cin teased pointing at Jay who was taking his books from his locker.

"Yeah." I said and I and Cin giggled.

"You guys are terrible!!" She said and started walking away.

"We love you!!" We yelled. And she turned to give us a middle finger, then then back and left. Cin and i laughed and we walked to our lockers. Her's opposite mine. I grabbed a chocolate bar and grabbed my book.

"So.... How was your date?" She asked. I sighed.

"It was.... Nice. I seriously didn't know why I wasn't in the relationship. Kelvin and I like each other!!" I told her.

"I thought it was the fucking l word before?" She asked. To think if it. I always said. I was in love with him.

"Guess I don't anymore!!" I said.

  After practice, and I'm awfully tired. I saw Jace with his car. I smiled and wanted to take a step. But I saw Kelvin with his car. I looked right and left. I went to Jace.

"Hey Jace!!" I said.

"Hey!!" He said.

"I'll see ya later. I have to go. Just wanted to say hi." I told him.

"K. Oh and I don't think it's necessary but I'll be at Orchards." He said.

"Uhmm.... Okay!!" I said. Orchards!! Cin, and Mia and of course James would be there!! I looked at him.

"What are you up to?" I asked him. I felt him wink me.

"You'll find out soon enough!! Bye!!" He said and got into his car. And rode off. I Shaked my head and smiled. Then i just went to Kelvin.

"Hey babe!!" I said and he pecked my lips.

"Let's go!!"

Here we are at a restaurant, devouring the good sweet flavour of French fries and hot dogs. Plus KFC chicken.

"This is so good!!" I said as i continued eating.

"After this. We should go to a park!!" He told me. I nod.

"It's a nice day you know!!" I said and he nod. We finished our food. I almost chewed on the bone!!

"Uhmm, I heard Mitchell had a dinner party!!" He said. I nod. We were in the park now enjoying the atmosphere and the natural breeze.

"How was it?" He asked me.

"Awful. That's because Sandy, Mia's step mom was there!!" I told him.

"Oh!!" He said and we sat on the bench.

"I'm sure Mitchell gave her what she deserved. Did she and Lily get along well?" He asked.

"Yup. Though they kinda argued at the end!!" I told him.

"I wished I went......" He said.

"What happened?" I asked him. He drank his coke.

"Not much......" He said and I looked at him.

"Fine!!" He said and sighed.

"My..... My Mom threw divorce papers at my Dad and my Dad said he's gonna sign it...." He said. I was silent.

"Kelvin..... That's..... That's big. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him. He shrug.

"Didn't feel it was important!!" He told me and I hugged him.

"It is important." I said.

"You could've told me!!" I said

"I don't know..... It's not I didn't want to..... I mean, I told James. But..... I don't know. Sometimes...." He said and i pull away.

"Sometimes, it's not the same with us. Like it was when we were first dating. It's not like I didn't want to tell you but everything has been......."

"Completely different!!" We both said and sighed.

"Yeah!!" He said. Different? That was the perfect word. We weren't as mushy, as clingy, as close as we were when we were dating at first. It's like..... Everything had been different. But then, there was something that would always be the same.

"You know what will always be the same?" I asked him.

"Uhmm.... What?" He asked me.

"That I'll always be here to listen to you!!" I said. He smiled.

"Yeah!!" He said and kissed me. One of the things that have been different is the kiss. It wasn't as amazing or mind rushing. Sparkles!! Butterflying anymore. It was just plain and sometimes disturbing.

Something that was never the same with Jace. I pull away and put my head on his shoulder. But at least, we could still be this way.

"No you shut up." Eliza yelled.

"So.... How have things been going?" I asked smiling.

"Great. Ian asked me to go to Paris with him!!" She said.

"Awwwnn. That's cute!!" I said.

"I know right. He's a complete great guy. But I don't know. Something just doesn't feel okay...... When I'm with him!!" She said.

"Urgh!! Who's the guy?" I asked.

"No. No. Before Austin came. There has always been something weird between us. Yes Ian has the looks, the charisma and the sophisticated and elegant appearance. He's smart. But boring and was too bossy!! And when he's angry or stressed. He get arrogant!!" She blurted out.

"But Austin....."

"Austin's an actor!! I know, I know. He's one word. Crazy!!! He's hot as a hot chocolate. And he has that beautiful blue eyes that sparkles everytime he smiles. Gosh Lizzie, when he smiles. He can melt any girl that sees him. He's fun to be with. And he's serious with his acting." She said.

"Oh my God. Eliza you like him!!" I told her.

"The truth is...... I don't know!!" She said.

"Been there Eliza. Been there. Wait a minute..... I'm even there!!" I said. And we both sighed.

"Look at us..... Everything's just so ....."

"Complicated!!" We both said and we giggled.

"Great. I gotta go. I'll call you later!!" Eliza said.

"KK..... Oh, do you know what Betty will like for Christmas?" I asked her.

"She LOVES lockets!!" She told me.

"Oh, okay!!" I said and touched my locket. I sighed.

"Bye Lizzie!!" She said.

"Bye!!" I said and I hang up. I sighed and I had a text

  James. I give you 5 min. Don't get bitchy late.

I smiled and I cuddled Muffin for one last time and I took my keys. I went straight to the garage. Got into my car and drove of to James.

"Hey bitch!!" Cin said and I rolled my eyes at her.

"Hey bitch!!" I said and she smiled.

"Permission to enter is granted." She said. I smiled as I entered and the smell of muffins filled my nose. I hurried to the game room and I saw them eating Taco and drinking hot chocolate.

"Sup guys..... Preparing for the winter?" I asked them.

"Who won't?" Mia asked as James pecked me and gave me a mug filled with hot chocolate. Then I sat beside Mia and Jace.

"So, what's the deal?" I asked them. They all grinned and James smiled.

"Let's not tell her yet." He said.

"Yeah..... I though so! But cheerleader couldn't wait!!" Jace said eating muffins.

"Hey!!! Take that back!!" Mia said and Jace giggled. I smiled. His giggles or smiles were contagious, and I loved them. I looked down and sipped my chocolate.

"So..... What's the deal?" I asked them.

"Nothing. Have you planned for Christmas?" Mia asked, her eyes on me.

"What? Don't look at her." James said putting his hands round my shoulders and I stuck my tongue out at Mia them sipped my chocolate.

"Whatever. Everyone had gone Christmas shopping!!" Mia said.

"Except me though!!" Jace said and he stood up

"About gifting. I'm sorry it's too late. But, I kinda lost track of time for Thanksgiving...... So...."

"You have a machine that can go back to the past?" Mia asked. We all looked at her.

"Sorry. I've..... I've been watching Mr. Peebudy a lot!!" She said and I rolled my eyes.

"He's talking about presents!!" I told them. And they nod.

"Right!" Mia said. I looked over at Cin. She was eyeing James hand that was round my shoulders. Gosh!! I forgot Cin was the jealous type.

"Hey James....."

"Uhmmm?"

"I think you should kiss your girlfriend!!" I told him.

"Oh now she's jealous? She practically pecked Jace. I saw it. It was almost at the lips." He said and I sighed.

"You guys are so...."

"So Mia. Here you go!!" Jace said and gave Mia. Winked Cin and gave her a packet.

"You see that? They're practically flirting!!" He said and I gave him a little slap.

"Shut your dirty mouth up and go meet your girlfriend. Cin likes you and you gotta understand that Jace is a flirt, and really great at it. And it might just be coincidence that the peck was close to the lips. So what?" I asked him.

"No matter how much a woman kisses another guy. Her heart will still be with you..... If she likes you, That is. Which Cin does!!! So stop being a bad bear!!" I told him and he sigh and stood up.

"Fine!!" He said and Jace threw him his packet. I looked at him.

"What about me?" I asked him.

"Where's mine?" He asked me. I always had Jace present with me. But I just...... I just haven't given him!!!

"Whatever!!"

"Awwn. A...... Answers for the next Maths class. Jace have i told you how much I love you?" Mia asked. I looked at her.

"Not in that sense. But I totally love you!!" She said and ran out.

"Jace....." Cin and i said.

"You aren't helping her at all!!" I said and Cin sakd.

"Mia won't fucking focus on class thinking she got the answers. And by the way, how did you fucking get the answers?" Cin asked.

"I have my ways!!" Jace said and I rolled my eyes.

"Whoa..... How did you get this?" James asked. It was a 'Aud.' Auds are Audrounian money that you get at the beginning of high school. And you only get 5. It's used for getting a pass at not doing home work. Making noise in class. Disturbing class. Getting late. Breaking school rules though that equals to 4 Auds. I've used all 4 of mine. And the fifth is really sacred!!

"Whoa. Thanks pal!!" James said. Then Cin opened her packet. She screamed.

"Oh my God!! Yes. Thank you. Thank you!!" Cinnamon yelled and hugged Jace.

"Hey it's okay!!" Jace said.

"What's it?" James asked practically pulling Cin away from Jace.

"He's gonna be teaching me how to ride a bike!! My utmost dream!!" Cin said.

"What?!?!" James and I asked.

"Yup!!"

"So you'll like be with him?" James asked her

"Everytime?" I asked.

"Calm down brown hair. It just until Christmas!!" Cin said. I sighed and drank my hot chocolate. Which is not hot anymore.

"I uhmm..... Gotta go!!" James said and ran up.

"Wait..... James!!" Cin yelled and followed her. And I noticed it was Jace and I..... In the game room.

"Hi!!" He said.

"Hey. Just for you to know. I'm totally cool with it. I just asked to..... James is quite protective or let me say possessive with his things so I was just trying to..... You know ask Cin if she's actually..... You know!! So I'm cool with it. Uhmm, I'm just gonna..... Go. And I'm totally babbling right now. So.... Bye!!" I said and was going up the stairs hurriedly until he dragged me back. Like I knew I wasn't gonna make it that far.

"Have you met Stefan..... Before?" He asked me.

"Of course. He was in the dinner.... We had!!" I told him.

"Did he tell you anything? Like about him or something?" He asked me.

"Like his family? Or.... Yeah. He said he has a large family. I've been to his house before." I told him. He released his hands for mine.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yup!!" I said. Then he giggled.

"He didn't show you pictures or..... "

"Nope. But I saw a family photo. Of course. Why are you asking?" I asked him.

"Nothing. Just..... I'm uncomfortable with the idea of you being seeing with him!!" He said and drank his chocolate nervously.

"Oh, so you get to choose who I'm seen with now?" I asked him.

"No Elizabeth. You do know that's not what I meant!!" He said.

"Then what exactly is it?" I asked him.

"I just don't like him!!" He said.

"Well I like him. James does too. Cin does. Mia does. Hell Mitchell does. Everyone does!!" I told him.

"You don't know him!!" He said.

"I know him better than you do." I said.

"You don't have to like a person before I can be friends with the person!!" I added.

"I didn't say you can't be friends. Just.... Just don't be too close!!" He said.

"Why?" I asked him.

"God, you gotta stop asking me those questions!!" He said.

"What? I'm supposed to agree with anything you say like a slave?" I asked him. He sighed.

"Why are you being difficult?" I asked him.

"Why are you being so complicated?" He asked.

"Is there anything wrong?" He asked.

"No!! I just.... You can't control me!!" I said.

"I'm not. I'm just protecting you!!" He said.

"From what? Stefan's a friend!!" I told him.

"Well, not all friends are your friends. I'm not sure what Stefan's up too!! But I do know he's up to know good. And he's probably going with the saying...., Keep you enemies closer!!" He told me.

"What? Whatever. Just..... Can you explain?" I asked him.

"I'm sorry you can't. Not now!! But just be careful. And don't be alone with him." He said, and he said it with a serious tone. With a little bit of smolder. Makes him looks hot. I smiled and I nod.

"Okay!!" I said.

"Good. Now let's go spy on James' room!!"

"I was just thinking the same thing."

  The next day, I ran with James, and surprisingly, Stefan joined. We three had breakfast together at a restaurant. I arranged that. And we(James and I) parted and I had a shower and slipped on a purple short skirt, black knitted off shoulder turtle neck crop top. And black ankle boots. I straightened my hair and I left for school. I technically ran to my locker and got my books. And then i saw something. People gossiping.

"Nelson!!" Only one person calls me that. I looked back.

God.

This is not happening!!!😲😧.
