I woke up the next day without Jace with me...... and late!! I saw the paper he wrote.

   Thanks for allowing me stay. I found my way to the laundry room and had James' PJ's washed. Oh and I made you pancakes and muffins. Don't eat too much. Oh and I want to say..... Stand up from that bed and hurry to school. You won't see me today anyways. Got things to do. Gosh what I'm I even writing? I'll come by before you sleep. I'll miss you.

I laughed and  quickly went to my shower and took my bathe, brushed my teeth and wore cream short skirt and a purple knitting turtle neck that's crop and dark purple sneakers. I grabbed a black hoodie cause the weather's cold and I combed my hair. Packing it bun and I hurriedly ate my food and drank water. I took my bag and I remembered I had assignment. Fuck!! I rushed to school and went to tell library. I started on it. And when it was telling last one.

The bell rang. Shit I have class. I walked to my locker, put my bag in and took my book. Then I rushed to class and managed to get there 33 seconds before she came in. I sat thankfully beside Link!! And the whole class, I was doing my assignments. Then I finished. And I had to borrow Link's note and when it was lunch. I copied it while eating my chocolate donut and strawberry shortcake plus muffins and Mia forced me to eat an hamburger and I finished the notes with the help of Mike helping me. I drank my juice with content and texted Jace.

   I'll miss you too

Then I went to my locker and put my books in, gave Link back his note and took my note  for the next class. I sighed as I got into the next class and sat. Great!! I'm ten minutes early. Cinnamon and James came later. James was eating cookies and i grabbed the whole packet from him.

"Sorry. I'm hungry!!" I said. Cin and i ate everything. Though giving James two cookies. And we three shared the orange juice. The bell rang and we giggled and faced the class.

For the first time in weeks, I went for practice. Coach's telling me I've relented and said the tournament was this weekend. Great!! Now I have to buckle down. We did loads of training and I went to James'. We did our assignments together. And we went to the gym to work out.

"You haven't been running as usual!!" He told me.

"Let's start again tomorrow?" I said. We fist bump and we continued our work out.

  After that, we had lunch. He begged I should sleepover but i argued and I left. I got home. Had shower, changed to sweats and had dinner with Betty. Though she didn't talk. And Penelope was around too. Bitches!!! I got up. Read a little waiting for Jace. He didn't come at all. So I just had shower, changed into PJs and slept off.

      The next day, I had my bathe, brushed my teeth and wore my leggings and sports bra. And tank top. And packed my hair ponytail. James came and we ran together. Then we had shower. I wore black jeans and blue tank top. Valencia brought in laundry and James wore black pants and a grey v neck top that he kept in my closet. Had breakfast and we drove to school. All those time, my brain was why Jace stood me up and didn't show up.  My eyes went to where Jace always parked his car, but it wasn't there. Great!! I met Cin and Mia and we talked. The bell rang and I was going to class when someone pulled me and I entered the pizza haunted study.

"Gosh Jace!!" I said.

"Let's skip school!!"

"Nice excuse!!" I said.

"Seriously Muffin. I'm sorry!!" He told me and I rolled my eyes.

"What happened?" I asked him.

"I told you!!" He replied. I raised an eyebrow.

"It was shit. I know. But I promise I'll explain everything to you later." He told him and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm going back to school!!" I told him standing up.

"Muffin....." He purred giving me those eyes.

"I'm going!!" I said and left him. He chased me until he tickled me and I couldn't breathe. I gave In and he giggled.

"Thanks Muffin!!" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Just don't do that again!!" He said.

"I swear on your ass!!" He said. I punched him.

"Ow!!" He said and I smiled and we got on his BMW.

"Where are we going to?" I asked him.

"Somewhere." He said. I sighed.

"I promise we'll be back in school before lunch!!" He said.

"Fuck school. Let's go have fun!!" I said.

"Hold on tight!!" He said and I held his waist and he drove off. Whoo.

"This is incredible!!" I yelled. Here we are at a garden house, and the surroundings were beautiful. There is a swing and a waterfall. Trust Jace to take me somewhere amazing!!

"What a Paradise!!!" I said and I sat on the swing looking at the how the waterfall flowed gently and pouring down. The tree booming.

"I was looking for this place!!" He said and I looked at him.

"Looking?" I asked him.

"This place held a lot of memories Elizabeth and when I was little, I always came here. This place...... Gives me that happiness you know. And I've lost track of it when shit happened. So.... I found it yesterday!!" He said smiling as he dragged me to a tree. It had a heart shape. And I saw the writtings. J💖J💖L💖L.

"Who's that?" I asked him. He smiled

"My family!!" He muttered. I nod and I smiled.

"It's nice!!" I told him.

"Let's see our cabin!!" He said as he led to a tree covered place. He pulled the string and the tree left exposing a cabin with a tall coconut tree. A deck chair and a shade, a table containing a glass cup. Only.... Jace smiled and pulled me in. I looked at the sight in front of me. A brown dusty couch and a dark Superman painted rug. I looked at the rugs and saw a pictures. Of course it was Jace when he was...... Maybe 10. And i saw him with a  beautiful brunette girl that looked so much like him. I won't lie. She's hella pretty!! And another picture. Of four children. He and another boy. And the girl with a younger one with uncompleted teeth. She looks familiar.

"Who's that?" I asked him.

"That's I, Ethan, Layla and Jack!!" He said. Awwn.

"Ethan's you best friend I suppose?" I asked him.

"Yup. Still is. And Layla and Jack are my..... Sisters!!" He said. I nod

"'They're so  pretty!!" I told him.

"Do you think any relative of this gorgeous creation will be ugly?" He asked me. I nod.

"Right!!" I said. I looked further, and I saw a measurement. I saw Jace, Ethan, Layla, Jack. Layla was the tallest. When they were eight, Layla was the tallest. When they were nine and ten also. But when they were.... Eleven, Ethan was the tallest. And there was no more.

"We come here every year!!" He said and I saw a lot of pictures of them, especially he and his sister, Layla and Ethan.

"Oh, pardon me. Our tree house!!" He said and pulled me out to the back to see the tree house. Whoa!! He climbed first and I did. I entered and it was pinkish and bluish.

"Layla loved pink. I loved green." He told me. I saw Layla wearing a fancy hat and shawl. And she eating ice cream.

"Who took all these pictures?" I asked him.

"Ethan..... The guy had a major crush on Layla!!" He replied and I saw Layla pulling Jace's ear. I giggled at that. I saw the pictures of motorbikes and cars.

"Don't blame me. I love motorbikes!!" He told me and I laughed. He opened the box and pulled out a camera. And i saw the emotions he felt. He dropped it and I went to him.

"Elizabeth....."

"Jace!!" I said as I hugged him. He pulled away and smiled.

"I wasn't crying!!" He told me. But his face didn't say so.

"Fine, don't tell anyone!!" He told me. I roll my eyes and I hugged him again. He pulled away accurately 39 seconds later and smiled.

"Let me show you a happy memory!!" He said. He pulled a box right under the couch and opened it. It was pictures of he and Layla. Layla and Ethan. Ethan and Jace. Jace and Layla. Lots.

"She loved swimming alot." He said.

"Where is she?" I asked him.

"England!!" He told me and I felt him smile.

"What are you doing for New year?" He asked me.

"Well..... According to Traditions!! We spend Christmas with our family. Though I always crash as the Chambers. And Orchards. So..... But on the 27. The gang and I fly to a decided place and share happy memories there. And..... We yell countdown together!! And we take a picture!!" I told him. He nod.

"Nice!!" He said.

"You want to take me to England?" I asked him.

"We can go this weekend. I can take my dad's private....."

"Hey. I'll take you to England when the time comes. And it's a..... Surprise!!" He told me and pecked me. Then be stood up.

"Do you wanna get wet?" He asked. I raised my eyebrows!!

"I got yah!!" I yelled as I ran. We were having a water fight with water guns as we ran. Then i felt water on me.

"I win!!" He yelled and i hit him with the water gun.

"Ouch!!" He said

"You know I'm quite competitive!!" I told him. He rolled his eyes.

Oh my God I'm so wet!! We were going home and I felt.... Dirty!! I remembered what he showed to me today? Am I slowly getting to know Jace? And his family? I've been wanting to ask where his father was but I just..... I just held it in.

"Hold up!!" He said. I tightened my grip on him and the bike stopped. Whoo!! I removed the helmet and I told him. He took it from me and I looked around. We were in a mall and I smiled.

"Besides the bike and the tattoos. You're seriously not a bad guy you know!!" I told him. He frowned.

"I'm a bad boy!!" He snapped.

"You're not!!" I told him.

"Whatever. I don't have time for you. Or this. And please don't waste time shopping. I don't want to run late!!" He told me.

"Don't ever tell a girl to be quick when it comes to shopping!! She'll end up looking like a shitty Barbie doll. Plus weird. WEIRD!!" I told him.

"So many rules!!" He muttered and I smiled.

"Let's go!!"

We went through few clothes and Jace picked out a dress. It was a Floral super short and sexy dress. Plus amazing. I smiled.

"Can I give this to my girlfriend?" He asked me. I almost choked.

"Girl...... girl..... Girlfriend?" I asked.

"Yeah. Just told her yesterday I liked her." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Yes. It's pretty!!" I said. The dress was amazing!!

"Is she pretty?" I asked him.

"Nope. I'll give her 50%. Besides, handsome guys like us need average woman so that there won't be too many average spinsters. Moreover, our beauty would cover up and we'll have beautiful cute babies." He said. I rolled my eyes.

"What's her name?" I asked him.

"Nel!!" He replied.

"Nel? Nel what?" I asked him.

"Nel sturty!!" He said. I raised my eyebrows.

"Weirdo!" I muttered.

"Okay, will you pick something or what?" He asked me and I sighed and sat on the couch.

"Pick me something!!" I told him. He rolled his eyes and checked the hangers. I quickly checked Instagram. Nel Sturty!! Nope. ... No person like that.

"Oh..... Her name's Pretty09!!" He said. I rolled my eyes and looked for pretty. So many pretty, pretty. Oh.... Pretty 0..... Fuck!! She's so beautiful!!! Check those boobs. I checked mine and I compared. I groaned in my head. I had boobs, but not not like this. But her butts flat. Great thing I have a big and curvy......

"Elizabeth...."

"What? What?" I snapped startled. He giggled.

"You don't have to be so worked up!!" He said amidst his giggle.

"Just..... Did you find a dress yet?" I asked him. I looked at her again. Blue hair? Urgh!!! Does he likes dyed hair? Should I....

"I was thinking of this...."

"What?!?!" I said startled.

"Elizabeth...." He said and sat at my front.

"Pay attention!!" He said taking my phone. He laughed when he saw what I was doing.

"God......" He said and put it in his pockets. He brought out dark green short shorts and a white T-shirt. And black denim jacket!!

"Shoes?" I asked him.

"We can get those later. Just wear this!!" He said. I went to the changing room and wore the clothes. I can't believe he has a girlfriend. I packed my hair ponytail and played with my ring in my middle finger. I went out. We went shoe shopping and I just wore black boots. Then he bought dark green caps and sun glasses for both of us. I wore my glasses and cap and he too and I took selfies of the two of us.

"Never show it to anyone!!" He warned. I nod.

"You got it!!" I told him and he actually bought that dress. Then we went to a restaurant and had pizza and coke.

"I'm stuffed!!" I said.

"Me too..... But that's not stopping from........" He wanted to take the last slice but I did and ate it.

"Don't get so worked up. I'm an athlete!!" I told him. He rolled his eyes.

"As if!!" He said.

"I'm in the track team remember? And we're having a tournament this weekend!!" I told him. He nod and we both sighed.

"Let's see a movie!!" He said. I nod happily.

"Whoa......" He said as the girl in the cried. I hit him.

"Whoa? You call this whoa? She's hurting!!" I told him as I ate the popcorn.

"Duh!!" He said.

"Nooooo. No please...."

"You know..... Movies like this.... Aren't really emotional!" He said.

"Have you watched dear John?" I asked him.

"Maybe!!" He said.

"And I didn't cry!!" He added.

"Oh come on!!" I said.

"Okay, you don't like horrors. You don't like mushy mushy. Now what?" He asked.

"It's not like I don't like horrors!! It's just I'm the only one in the room and when it's in the night. I can't go pee!!" I confessed. He laughed.

"Scared cat!!" He said. I threw popcorns at him.

"Jerk. Jerk!!" I said.

"Shhh!!!" Someone from the back said.

"Oops. Sorry!!" I apologized and threw popcorns at Jace and put some in my mouth.

"I'm sorry okay!!" He said and he fed me pop corn. I blushed and I put my head on his shoulder. And he wrapped his hands round my shoulder. Thinking about his girlfriend, made me ask this question.

"Who am I to you Jace?" I asked quiet. He giggled.

"Why? Feeling insecure?" He asked me.

"No..... Maybe.... No. No. Of course not." I asked removing my head from his shoulder. He giggled.

"Chill muffin!!" He said and I put  my head back to his shoulder.

"I don't have a girlfriend silly." He said. I smiled and he fed me the popcorn.

"But.... But what about the dress?" I asked him.

"What about it?" He asked and kissed my forehead. I shook my head.

"Nothing!!" I said and drank coke. He giggled

"You're cute you know that?" He asked me. I nod.

"That's why you love me!!" I said and I was scared. Waiting for his reply.

"We should get going muffin!!" He said. I sighed.

"Yeah. The movie's almost done. No one told me it's a tragic movie." I said.

"She went back home!!" He said.

"But she lost her best friend!! That's like..... Loosing a part of me. I can't bear loosing James." I said. He nod. The movie ended.

"Yeah!! It's fucked up." He said. I nod. I ate the last popcorn and drank my coke.

"Or Cinnamon! Or Mia!!" I said and I looked at him.

"Or you!!" I said.

"Really?" He asked and pecked me.

"What will you miss about me?" He asked.

"Your bike. And most especially. Who will take me to somewhere extraordinary?" I asked him. He giggled and people started standing up.

"Let's go!!"

"I know, I know. I'm too great!!" He said and I rolled my eyes. He started wearing his hoodie.

"Don't you feel uncomfortable?" I asked him.

"Not really. Used to it!!" He said and I nod.

"Right. So uhmmm, I'll just slip into my last period!!" I told him and I only have ten minutes.

"Okay!!" He said and I turned.

"Uhmm Elizabeth!!" He called. I turned quickly.

"You forgot your clothes!!" He said.

"I'll just drop by later to take it!!" I said. He nod.

"Okay..... Bye!!" I said and turned.

"Elizabeth....." I quickly turned.

"You're looking for something aren't you!" He asked.

"Maybe..... Maybe not!!" I said.

"Just go to class!!" He said. Urgh!!!! Not even a peck!!!!!

"Uhn?" He asked. Oh my God!!! I can't believe I just said that out. I felt my cheeks heating.

"Uhmm, nothing. Bye!!" I said and ran from his study. I went to my locker and took my book. I took my pencil case and grab a chocolate bar from my bucket of chocolate bars. I was eating it when I was hearing smooches. Oh My God!!

"You looked so good I couldn't keep my eyes off!!" I heard. That voice's familiar. I checked the keyhole. OH MY GOD!!!!

"What the butt." I said and opened the door wide.

"Shit....."

"Get out!!" I said. Guess who!!! Dorothy and Frank!!!!

"And I'm so disappointed in you Frank!!" I said and turned.

"We broke up!!" He said. I turned.

"When?" I asked him

"You should've fucking known. But you're too busy with 'devil's son.' oh and check your boyfriend too so he won't end up in the closet with another girl!!" He said and I felt the urge to slap him.

"He is not a devil's son. And Kelvin won't end up in the closet. And it's not my fault I don't know anything about your break up cause you didn't tell me. Or anybody!!" I told him.

"Oh really? You should get your facts right before you start blabbing!!" He said and Dorothy came out dressing normally.

"Let's go!!" He told Dorothy and they left. I sighed ad the bell rang. I shook my head and just left. If there is one thing I'm sure about..... Is that I'm having a date night with Kelvin.

"Good one Nelson. Practice is over!!" He said. I nod and went to the showers. I had a shower and wore my clothes. I collected my clothes from Jace and my phone. I called Kelvin.

"Hey Kelvin!!" I said.

"Sup."

"Can we have a date night?" I asked him.

"Uhmm..... Sure. Why don't we meet at ..... Don't worry, I'll pick you up!!" He said.

"K. Can't wait!!" I said.

"Yeah!!" He said and hanged up.

"Hey bitch!!" I heard Cinnamon yell. I looked up to see her with James.

"Whoa.... You told the whole school?" I asked them.

"Yeah. It was an epic moment!!" James said.

"Oh and Frank and...."

"I know.... They broke up!!" I said and they nod.

"Guys, am i too distant?" I asked them.

"Not really. You've been recently busy with Jace and you barely eat lunch with us. But that doesn't make you distant!!" James said.

"God!! Uhmm, is Kelvin like..... James, has Kelvin told you anything about our relationship?" I asked him.

"Not really. He didn't say you're too distant. You're too occupied. You're not chatty anymore. You don't put your mind when you're kissing. You're either chatting or doing stuff. And he said you didn't have sex with him!!" James said.

"That's my baby girl." He said patting me.

"For not being a good girl friend?" I asked him.

"Nooo....... For waiting!!" He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Just fucking break up with him Iza. You don't fucking like him anymore. So what the fuck bitch. Step up your game!!" She said. I sigh

"I'm not breaking up with Kelvin. I like him!!" I said.

"Honey. I know you the most. I think you're just trying to hold the relationship because you're scared if you do. You'll be called a bitch and you're scared Jace won't date you." James said.

"No!!!! I don't care what people say." I said.

"Do you?" James asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever!! I have to go. And prepare for my date night!!" I said and flipped my hair as I walked.

"Oh and what's with the change of clothes?" He asked.

"Nothing..... Just felt like it!!" I said.

"Adios amigo. Senioritta!!" I said. And entered my Lamborghini. Then I rode off. I got home and called Mia over. We chatted and picked out a clothe for my date.

"Awwwnn." She said as she finished my make up.

"You're pretty!!" She said.

"Thanks." I said. I heard a honk and my eyes lit up.

"I have to go!! Bye!!" I said. I was wearing a black short leather, cream off shoulder crop top and black ankle boots. I packed my hair a ponytail. Curly at the end and had a light make up. I went down and saw him wearing grey v neck top and dark green crazy jeans. Plus the jacket.

"Hey handsome!!" I said.

"Hey beautiful!!" He said and kissed me.

"You look pretty!!" He said and I remembered Pretty09!! I grinned.

"Thanks!!" I said and he led me to the car, which he opened for me.

"Thank you!!" I said and entered and closed the car door. Then he went to his, closed the door and drove off while stealing glances at me. This date. Is a chance. Is a chance for me to know, if I'm still in this relationship. If I want to be in this relationship. And try to make it work. I'll set up space for me and Jace. And I'll be the perfect girlfriend ever. But if this goes wrong..... I'll back out. Whether if Jace likes me or not!! I can't keep lying to Kelvin or myself anymore. I need to find my direction and know when I stand. Tonight.... Tonight will show me that.

"What are you thinking of?" He asked me. I smiled and looked at my skirt.

"Nothing Kelvin..... Nothing!!"

'and a little part of me😐.....,' I looked up and smirk😏. 'wants it to be a disaster'😌.
