After the store incident I went back home and started making the snacks. I also prepared a picnic basket since I wanted to take the girls to the park after school.

After an hour of baking everything was set. Checking the time I saw that it was almost time to pick up my babies.

I hurriedly took the picnic basket and rushed to the bus stop. I also called Ade and she said that she would meet us at the park since she had some work she had to finish up first.

I found by babies waiting for me and when they saw me they ran and enveloped me into a hug smothering me with kisses. It seems that they had really missed me.

''How was your day?''

''I got five stars' 'they both said at the same time showing me their hands.

''Wow really.' 'they nod excitedly with huge grins on their pretty faces.

''That's good......would you like to go to the park and we can get icecream later as I promised?''

They were jumping for joy at this point and it was so adorable. I took each of their hands and we started the  10inute walk to the park.

On the way they told me all they did in school and the new friends they made and how nice the teacher is since she gives them sweets. As soon as we got to the park they gave me their bags and went to play with other kids.

We came here quite often so they had made friends with other kids who were also regulars. I set up the picnic and watched them play.

At some point I got tired of sitting down and instead decoded to stand up and take some pictures of by girls as they played. They looked so happy and care free.

I felt a tug on my leg and looked down to see a cute little boy. I remebered him saying his name was Adam. The girls had introduced him as their friend on their first day at school.

I crouched down to reach his height.

''Hi Adam''

''Hi'' he said with a blush covering his cute face.

Before anything else was said I heard some one calling for him. Looking behind him I saw the pretty girl from school. Adam didn't respond till the girl was right behind him.

''Adam what did I tell you about running off without telling me where you are going?'' she said in a scolding voice but Adam didn't seem phased by it.

''Shoooo.......can't you see I was talking to the pretty lady.' 'he said back to her while glaring at her. She seemed shocked and tried talking back but no words seemed to be coming out. She opened and closed her mouth several times and this made me laugh which caused her to glare at me.

I shut up and put my hands up surrender. I heard a throat clear and looked back to Adam.

''You are really pretty''he said his cheeks tainted pink.

'Thank you Adam......you are very handsome yourself.' 'he gave me a toothy grin.

''Would you be my girlfriend?'' I was very shocked by his question and he was looking at me waiting for an answer.

''Yes of course.'' he seemed very happy. He then heard his name being called and looked behind me to see Mia and Ava calling him to the monkey bars. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and ran towards the monkey bars.

Now it was just Xena and I.We just sat there in silence till i was hit with the scent of Ades perfume followed by her voice.

''Hey babe''i heard Ade's voice and felt arms wrap around my waist from behind. She had not taken long to get here.

''Hey'' I replied leaning back into her body. Xena was looking at us with I look I couldn't decipher. She cleared her throat and said that she had to go. We said our good byes and Adam gave me one last kiss on the cheek before they left out of the park.Ade then went ahead to tell me. how her day was. After a while the girls came and joined us. We had our snacks and the went for some icecream just around the corner before taking a bus home.

When we got home the girls went to do their home work while Ade and I made dinner and since today was a Friday I let them watch TV past their bedtime since there was no school tomorrow. I also got to catch up on the school work I had missed. I didn't want to fall behind.

The weekend went just the same. Us watching movies baking some cookies and brownies, catching up on school work playing with the girls the watching more TV.

This right here was my happy place and I was dreading going back to school on Monday.
