So today I woke up bright and early,made breakfast and prepped the girls for school before rushing to my own.

I found Xena waiting for me at the gate with a coffee mug at hand handing it to me.

''So.......there is something I want to ask you?"Xena said fidgeting with her hands.

This was quite uncharacteristic since Xena is always oozing confidence and seems so in control.

So this had to be pretty big .I swallowed mid sip and gave her all my attention which just seemed to make her more nervous.

"Okay.....am listening."

"I....uhhh....I got..these movie tickets and I was.....uhhh ....wondering if you would like to come with me this Saturday.......?"

"Is the school's queen asking me......a wierdo on a date?" I questioned with a teasing smirk on my lips.

She suddenly turned all shades of red...

"Of course not....I mean maybe..yes....if you want it to be...I mean you don't...have to....it's totally fine if you are busy..."

"Yes"

".....I mean it's not like I have been planning This for weeks....... wait you said yes?"

"Yes I did."

"Okay then I'll pick you up at 7."She said flashing me her biggest smile.

"That's okay with me.......so shall we head to class now..?"

"Yeah of course"

After that the rest of the day was pretty much uneventful.

I hadn't yet told Ade about the date. Am sure she is going to be more excited than me.

At the end of the day I picked the girls up and they volunteered to help me make dinner while telling me how their day went.

I was glad that they were adjusting just fine and had made quite a lot of friends.

Ade texted me saying that she would get home late since she had to cover for a friend at work.

I fed the kids, read them a bedtime story before tucking them in and went to wait for Ade.

She came back at 10 looking tired as hell.

"Hey babe."

"Hey my love.....did you wait up for me."

"Of course I did dummy. So let's have dinner then we'll call it a night. yeah?"

So I made each of us a plate and talked over dinner. I told her about the date and she was pretty excited to get me all dolled up.

She told me that she had a pretty stressful day and if any of us has a stressful day we usually snuggle up together. Cuddles take the stress away.

That's just our thing. So we laid down with her head in the crook of my neck and my fingers running through her hair which I knew would make her go to sleep quicker.

I fell asleep right after. When I woke up in the morning Ade was nowhere in bed with me which was quite a shock since I am always the first to wake up.

Before I knew it it was Saturday and here I was pacing my room not knowing what to wear.

"Baaaaabbbbbeeee........ Come here quick I need you." Ade rushed into my room 5 seconds later.

"Damn what the hell happened here ..?" she asked gesturing to the clothes strewn everywhere on the floor.

"And what are you doing back in the closet...I thought you came out years ago?"

"Shut the hell up and find me something cute to wear."

"Damn feisty I like it.....but move aside it's time to get you pretty."

She went into my closet and gave me a cream coloured Woolen sweater, black skinny jeans,a cream beany and black shoes.

After getting dressed she did my make up and at the end I did look pretty damn good.

"Darn......if I were gay I would fuck you right here and now."

This girl literally has no filter she says whatever is on her mind.

We then heard the doorbell and I rushed to open it and I was speechless she looked gorgeous dressed in a pair of skinny jeans, a cropped shirt with her hair held in a high ponytail.

"Wow....you look beautiful" she said while openly checking me out.

"You don't look too bad yourself."

"Shall we get going?" I asked since I was feeling myself starting to blush.

"After you m'lady" she said opening the door for me

"Such a gentlewoman."

"Well I try." she said she doing me a wink before starting the drive to the mall.

She bought some popcorns and drinks since she didn't let me pay and we watched a romantic comedy and it was a good date.

She drove me home at around 11 and walked me to the door.

"So can we do this again sometime?"

"Yeah... only if am paying."

She let about a chuckle before leaning down leaving a lingering kiss on my cheek.

"Good night."

"Yeah...you too drive safe."

"I will."
She then walked to her car and waited till I walked in before she drove off.

I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
