Agent B's point of view

If I had a dollar for everytime I wanted to put a bullet inside of one of the members in the band, I'd have enough money to live on the moon. I wouldn't need a job, I'd have more than enough to keep me alive until I was ready to pass.

I grit my teeth as I looked at Ashton and Luke, the two arguing over the situation at hand. Ashton was claiming Luke was blind, Luke was claiming they're gullible.

"Knock it off."

"No you listen here Ashton, I'm not about to hand my life over to a girl who has tried to kill this band multiple times-"

"It's our own fault for being pushy and dumb! Don't blame just her for that-"

"Either way I don't trust her and I'm not going t-"

"I regret taking this job and I regret not quitting when I said that I would." I said and Michael looked at me. "I'm irritated."

"You're always irritated."

"Yeah but I wanna shoot both your bandmates even more now." I said and Michael as quick to put his hand over the gun. "Have fun playing guitar with one hand."

"You wouldn't dare."

"I would." I said and he moved his hand quickly when I set my finger on the trigger. I laughed and crossed my legs as Calum leaned his head on my shoulder.

I'd tell him to get off if he wasn't asleep.

My phone rang and I groaned as I reached over Calum's sleeping body. I picked it up and then held it against my ear. "Hello?" I asked and Michael broke out into a song.

I took the gun and pointed it at his temple and I took a deep breath. "Yeah, if no one's going to reply, I am going to hang up." I said and there was a beep.

I furrowed my eyebrows and without knowing, I dropped the gun and Michael jumped up when the heavy metal hit his shoulders. My eyes widened and the boy immediately took the knife and gun away from my reach, throwing them behind the other bed.

"You're actually trying to kill me!" He said and I shook my head.

"It-It wasn't me!" I said as he held his shoulder in pain. "I swear it..." I took a deep breath and I clenched my jaw. "What are you doing to me?" I yelled into the phone, startling Calum.

I heard another beep and I squeezed my eyes shut, my head aching and ears ringing. "Get Calum away from me." I said and they looked at me confused. "Now!"

Ashton and Michael did, and Calum rubbed his eyes as he looked at me. "What's going on? I woke up to yelling..." He said tiredly, his eyes droopy and voice soft.

"I can play this game all day." A low voice said and I held my head as a louder ringing sound filled my ears.

"Stop it-"

"It's so much fun." They said and it sounded too low to be a woman's voice. Call me sexist but that's a grown ass man's voice; deep, raspy, and slightly gravelly. It resembled the one I'd hear all the time when this thing sent off. This was the voice I'd hear in my head.

You failed.

You didn't do you job.

You're going soft.

This job isn't meant for you.

"Agent B what's going on?" Calum asked me but I was too caught up to answer. Too busy to even spare him a glance.

"Listen here," I said, my voice strained. "I'll find you and I'll fucking-I'll fucking kill you, do hear me?" I asked and he laughed.

A louder beeping noise sounded and I dropped my phone as my breathing grew heavier. "You think it's the-"

"Why else would she be acting like this?" Calum cut Michael off and I actually whimpered in pain.

My hands gripped my bandaged side and I squeezed my eyes shut as they unwilling pressed down on the injury. "Fuck..." I gasped in pain, the injury still fresh.

"She's hurting herself, we have to help!"

"Calum she'll hurt you if you so much as go near her! Stay back!"

I fell off of the bed, landing on my bad side and I groaned in pain, tears springing to my eyes. I wanted to stop, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't control my own actions.

"Stop it!" Calum yelled and I only assumed he had my phone. "Stop doing this to her! You're sick!"

"Calum don't-"

In seconds I was able to move my arm and I did, opening my eyes to see it covered in blood. I looked at my side and bunched my shirt up around it to try and stop the bleeding. I looked at the band after and Calum held my phone in his hands, seeming deathly afraid.

"What?" He asked quietly. "Don't! She hasn't done anything!" He said and furrowed his eyebrows. "What-What do you mean?"

"Calum, hang up the phone." I said and he just looked at me. "Calum, hang it up." I told him sterner this time.

"What did she do?" He asked and then pulled the phone away. "Hello?" He asked and then looked at me. "He hung up."

"She's bleeding badly!" Michael panicked and I took my shirt off, removed the soaked bandaged. "Did your stitches rip?"

"I think so." I said and threw my head back in pain. My breathing was heavy and while Michael was trying to help me, the other three just stood there.

"What did you do?"

"What do you mean?" I asked and looked at Calum. "I've done a lot of things, narrow it down Hood."

"He said-He said you did something to deserve this. What did you do?" Calum asked me and I shook my head.

"I agreed to have the damn chip in my head? Calum, I don't know what I did. I've done a lot of things in my life, but I'm not sure if any of them deserve this kind of punishment." I said and winced. "Here, I got it."

I pressed the shirt against my side and took a deep breath. "He said that he's going to get revenge." Calum told me and I rolled my eyes.

"I'll kill him."

"Unless he kills you first." Luke said and I glared at him. "He can do whatever he wants to you. He can make you kill yourself if he wanted."

"He doesn't want that. He wants to toy with me, make me suffer until I do it myself." I said and grit my teeth. "He wants the satisfaction of being able to leave me vulnerable, of breaking me down."

"Too much is going on right now."

"I agree." I said to Ashton and Calum walked over to help me. "Thanks."

"Oh my god." Ashton said and I looked at him. "Agent B? Thanking someone? Oh god, I must be dead. Where's my dad?"

"Sippin' margaritas with Savanna and the big man." I said and Luke glared at me. "Aw, truth hurts doesn't it?"

"Shut up." Luke snapped and I rolled my eyes. I stood up, limping a bit because my side was bleeding.

"Track the phone number." I said and they just looked at me. "Right, you're all dumb. Give me my phone so I can do it." I said Ashton handed it to me.

"Are you okay?"

"No." I said and sat down on a chair. "I'll be fine though. It's not bleeding as bad as I thought it would." I told them and Michael handed me a shirt. "Not yet, not till the bleeding stops or I get it bandaged. I'll just bleed through it."

"Right." He said and took it back. I stood up and shook my head.

"I might as well rip the damn chip out myself." I grumbled, and the entire band heard me cause I wasn't the quietest.

"You'll kill yourself if you do it."

"Don't, you're gonna fuck around and hurt yourself."

"Good idea, do it."

"Luke, don't be a dick."

"All of you, shut the fuck up." I said and they did, their bickering boiling down to pure silence. "Thank you."

-

It was the middle of the night, and I was attempting to track the phone number that called. However, it wasn't working. Nothing was coming up, not a single thing. It was untrackable.

I slammed the laptop shut and took a deep breath. I stood up and then went to the bathroom, flipping the light on and yurbing the faucet on. I washed my face and took a deep breath, holding on to the edge of the granite counter top as I kept my head down.

I don't understand. What have I done? What, in specific, did I do that was so horrible that I deserved to a human fucking puppet for some twisted fuck? I've done some fucked up shit, some stuff that was disgustingly bad, but I can't see leading up to this.

I looked into the mirror, stepping away slightly. My hair was messy, most likely cause I haven't brushed it in awhile. My eyes looked drained, my skin paler than usual. My cross necklace hung between my breasts, and I grabbed it, holding it in my palm.

I don't deserve to wear this. After all the sins I've done, after all the times I refused to believe in him, after every time I used his name in vain. I didn't deserve this. I didn't deserve salvation when I die. I didn't deserve for God to go easy on me.

I deserved to rot in hell. I deserved to be banished to damnation for all the times I've wronged the bible and gone against God's word, for all the times I didn't wish for forgiveness after I've done wrong.

I didn't deserve to have this necklace on.

My hand curled around the pendant, and I ripped it off of my neck, staring at the silver cross that laid in my hand. I dropped it on to the counter, watching as it hit the granite with a loud clink.

"Brenda."

My eyes glanced into the doorway of the bathroom, seeing Calum leaning against it with crossed arms. "Excuse me?" I asked, my voice coming out rough.

"Your name is Brenda."

"Don't fucking say it." I said, turning around immediately and looking Calum right in the eye. "Shut up Hood, or I'll make you."

"What's so bad about it?" He asked as I grabbed ahold of the neckline of his shirt. "It's a pretty name, Brenda-"

I pulled the knife from its holster on my thigh and held it against his throat. "You listen to me," I said lowly as he looked down at me. "If you call me by my name ever again, I'll kill you. Don't you test me Calum. My name isn't... My name is Agent B, and if you so much as bring it up again, I'll slit your throat."

"Why is it so bad?"

"Cause the memories that come with it are too much for me." I said and he looked at me worriedly. "She's dead. Gone. Deceased. She's not here and if you call me Brenda once more, then we're gonna have a problem."

He was silent, a daring look in his eye as he parted his lips. "Brenda Garcia." He said slowly, punctuating each syllable loudly as he looked me right in the eye.

My jaw clenched and my knife pressed harder against his throat. He watched me, and my grip tightened on the handle of the weapon as we looked at each other, our eyes narrowed in an intimidating manner.
