Agent B's point of view

I scratched the back of my neck as I went to the kitchen, grabbing a mug from the cabinet. I grabbed the pitcher of finished coffee, quickly pouring it into the mug.

I added a little bit of the creamer Michael had and then mixed it in, watching the dark color fade.

I took the mug and then went back to the living room, sitting down and blowing on the mug softly.

I looked at my laptop, noticing several emails from various agents, all of which revolved around my 'moment of weakness' in the helicopter.

I took a small drink of the hot beverage before setting it down and deleting every email regarding the subject. It took awhile, but I got it done, thankfully.

"Hey Agent B," someone said and I looked at the staircase, noticing that it was Calum. "What are you doing?"

"Question is, what are you doing up?" I asked and closed my laptop. He looked at me weirdly and I looked around. "Um, what's with the stare?"

"Since when did you wear hoodies, especially when it's nearly ninety degrees?" He asked me and I looked down at the thin, lose fabric I had on.

"Mission left me with some nasty wounds." I lied and he nodded. "What are you doing up? Go to sleep."

"Can't sleep. Who sleeps when you're in this much danger?"

"Sane people Calum." I said and grabbed my mug as he sat down on the opposite side of the couch. "Have you slept at all?"

"Yeah." He said and nodded. "Since when did you care?" He asked as he leaned back a bit, resting his head in his hand.

"Excuse me?" I asked and shook my head. "I'm just looking out for you Calum, skipping sleep isn't good."

"Yeah, but when did you start caring for me as a friend or whatever?"

"One, there is no friend or whatever, we aren't friends. Friends meet semi-willingly and know each others names." I told him him. "Two, if you haven't noticed, I ask those questions, and others similar, frequently to everyone in this house. Don't get smart with me."

"Mhm." He hummed and then took the remote to the television, turning it on. I blinked a few times and set my mug after taking a drink.

"Ashton said you changed a little bit," I said and he huffed. "Said you're more like me. Why?"

"I haven't. I'm still me, I'm fine." He said and watched some movie on the television. He didn't seem interested in it, like he was watching just to not talk to me.

"Look, you don't want to be like me, not in the slightest. I'm a bitch, I'm a murderer, and I'm going insane. You don't want to copy me." I told him and he looked at me.

"I'm not okay? I'm not copying anyone." He said and shrugged. "I'm just... I'm tired of being afraid all the time, you know?"

"I know." I said and nodded. "Shutting your friends out isn't going to help, shutting your family out isn't any better either." I told him and he sighed.

"I didn't mean to, it's just, I think of them and it scares me because what if I wake up and I don't see them again?" He said and shook his head. "I'm talking crazy, it's midnight, don't mind me."

"Your fears are valid but I'm not going to let that happen." I told him and he just shrugged. "Apologize to Mali, I bet she's worried sick."

"She probably hates me, I didn't even let her talk."

"She's your only sister, don't just leave it. Apologize because if you do die, you don't want her to think you hate her." I said and he didn't respond. "Calum, do you even have to think about it?"

"No um, I was thinking about something else. I'll call her in the morning." He told me and I nodded. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Why not?" I said and nodded. "Go for it." I told him and he glanced at my wrist.

"What is that?" He asked me and pointed at my wrist. "What is that?" He repeated, his eyes squinted a bit.

"Mission." I said and rolled my sleeve up, showing it to him. "Shredded glass." I lied to him and he winced.

"How long did it take to pick all the shards out?"

"Quarter of the ride back." I said and he nodded. "I'm fine though." I told him and he nodded.

"Glad, but um, that wasn't my question. My question was, why do you seem more... I don't know, compassionate?" He asked and I grabbed the mug of coffee.

"It's midnight... we all say things we don't mean, we all aren't ourselves."

"Actually, that's noon. At midnight, they say usually your true self shows because there's really no one to impress. The sun sees your lies, the moon hears your cries." He told me and I laughed.

"That's ridiculous." I told him and took a drink of my coffee. "Where did to get that quote?"

"Don't remember, someone said it to me and to this day it's been relevant." He said and I nodded as I crossed my legs.

"What's that?" I asked and he hummed. He paused the movie and I heard music, like someone was wide awake playing a song on guitar. "Who's playing?"

"It's Luke. He probably misses Savanna." He told me and sighed. "He'll wake up in the middle of the night from a dream about her and he'll play the same song until he feels like falling asleep again."

"What song?"

"Wrapped Around Your Finger, it's one of our songs, but it's their song." He said and I nodded. "Been on our setlist since she, you know, died."

"Figured." I said and he closed his eyes, humming the song quietly. "Where is your shirt by the way?"

"Where is your gun?"

"Touchè." I said and he nodded. "My knife is behind me though." I said and he just laughed as he shrugged.

"You had me wrapped around your finger," Calum sang quietly as Luke played his guitar. It wasn't loud, it was quiet almost, but you could hear it.

"It doesn't wake up Michael and Ashton?"

"They're heavy sleepers, all three of them are actually. I'm the only light sleeper here, I'll wake up to the smallest breath on my neck." He said and I nodded.

"Never have a boyfriend or girlfriend then, cuddling would be a pain." I told him and he laughed.

"I didn't mean literally." He told me and I nodded. "So um, Ashton told you about my 'behavior', did he also tell you about Rachael?"

"Yeah, what happened exactly?"

"I heard her talking and no one else was in there room, she was in the bathroom." He told me and I nodded, not correcting his sentence structure. "Well, she was in the bathroom and I heard the words boys, killing, and soon. I don't know, maybe I'm paranoid, but I don't trust her."

"I don't either, so I hacked into her phone," I said and he scooted closer and I grabbed my laptop.

I pulled up a page on my screen and typed in her phone number. "How'd you get her information?"

"I know my stuff." I said and he nodded as her recent calls and messages came on. "So, she's called Analeigh and Michael. She's texted a lot of other people too." I read and then clicked on her messages with Ana.

"Did you hear that?" He asked as I heard a thump. "Sounds like something fell." He told me and I nodded.

"Luke, you alright up there?" I yelled and he yelled back that he was. I looked around and then pointed at the remote. "You kicked it down."

"Oops." He said and I rolled my eyes as I looked through her messages, my hatred for the girl growing with each letter I read.

"Are cameras still set up?" Calum asked after awhile and I shook my head. "What's that blinking light?" He asked me.

"What blinking light?" I asked and saw a blinking light by the television, but I know it wasn't the television.

"Why is that today's date?" Calum panicked as he pointed out a text message. I tossed the laptop aside and jumped up.

"Upstairs, now now now." I said and grabbed his arm, forcing him to stand up as the grenade went off. I took my hoodie off and then held it against his nose as I banged on the band's doors. "Wake the fuck up!" I yelled and Calum went to grab Luke.

I groaned as I realized I didn't have any weapons on me, and then groaned louder as I realized I was half naked. Michael opened his door and I could see the smoke from downstairs climb up the stairs.

"Get in the fucking attic now and don't make a single sound." I said and he nodded. "Calum." I whispered hissed and out walked Ashton and Luke.

"Where's Calum?" I asked as I brought the two boys with me. "Go in the attic, don't make a sound." I said and quietly and they nodded as they opened the hatch.

To make a distraction for them, I ran around slamming doors and making bangs against the walls for them to chase after. When someone grabbed my arm, I turned around and slammed them against the wall.

"A-Agent B," he gasped and I let go, realizing it was Calum. "I-I grabbed a thing-" He said and held up a pink gun.

"What the hell?"

"Savanna's." He said and I nodded. I pushed him in the direction of the attic, but the hatch was already closed. "Where do I go?" He's asked, my hoodie still against his nose.

"Follow me." I said and he nodded. I walked around the upstairs, shooting anything I saw that moved in the thick smoke. I knew it wasn't any of the band, so I didn't have a worry.

I led him downstairs, holding my breath ad I went into the room my things were in. I took the bullet proof vest, forcing him to put it on quickly.

I handed him the pink gun before taking my own revolver, keeping a pack of bullets in my back pocket with my phone. I slowly took him back upstairs, taking a nice deep breath after.

"Why do I need this on my face?"

"The gas can knock you out of you breathe it in." I said quietly and he nodded. He grabbed my arm and suddenly we were being pulled back.

I turned around and yanked Calum back, practically holding him against me as I shot in the direction we were being pulled in. I looked around and Calum poked me.

"We're very close-"

"Can it." I said and then walked into a corner, squinting my eyes as the smoke filled the room. "Good thing you don't have neighbors."

"Haven't had neighbors since Savanna." He said and I nodded and I shot the figure that walked in. His body fell on the floor and Calum jumped. "My carpets."

"Your carpets or you?" I asked and he was silent. "Calum?"

"Yes?"

"I need to get you to the attic." I said and I heard a gun, too fast to be a pistol but to slow to be be machine gun. "Oh no, they upgraded." I said and he froze.

"What?"

I turned around and took his hand, making sure he had the gun. I took his index finger and placed it on the trigger. "Shoot anyone that doesn't have tits, got it?" I said and he gulped.

"Why me?"

"Because you have the vest, I don't." I said and he reached to take it off. "Leave it on." I said and he looked be hind me.

I pushed him down and I ducked, whipping around and shooting as quick as my revolver should. I popped the chamber out, refilling it, and then put it back in place, pulling the hammer back.

"Come on." I said and grabbed his wrist, leaving the room. I kept my back against the wall as the smoke slowly began to clear, which meant not only they were easier to see, we were easier to see.

I looked around, noticing that the light had been shattered. I pushed Calum back since neither of us had shoes on and then shot whoever I saw come up the stairs.

"We all need to leave, asap." I said and he turned around, banging on the hatch. "That's not going to-"

He pushed me out of the way as the door opened, the ladder coming out. "Shoot!" Calum said and I turned aeound, keeping my eye on every doorway.

"What the hell was that?"

"Secret knock." He said and I rolled my eyes. "We have to get to the car. Ashton, this is your room, put on shoes and like moved the glass out of the way.

"What? I can't do that! Just throw some blankets over it!"

"It's glass dipshit!" I said and he glared at me. "Put shoes on moved the damn glass." I said and shot a few times. "Now Irwin!"

"Okay!" He yelled and I fell to my knees as a huge pain hit my stomach as a gunshot sounded.

I held my stomach with my arm and then pulled it away, seeing that my arm was covered in blood. "Fuck, that's not good." I said.
