Chapter 15

"Reveal your secrets pretty little liar"

Months passed and the winter season is already over and is replaced by spring, the spring replaced by summer.

Y/n let out a huff and set down her laundry basket on the ground beside the river, she starts to stretch her muscles and was satisfied when it let out a 'pop' sound.

Last night, Y/n was bored so she decide to do some experiments in the kitchen since her mother is not home, the experiment didn't go well and her mother comes home to find green liquids on the walls and black dust on the floor kitchen.

Y/n's mom finds Y/n who is hiding in Shela's cave and dragged her home to clean up the mess she created, Y/n had to stay up all night hearing her mom's lectures and she told her to do her laundry for her punishment.

At first, Y/n thought it was the easiest punishment she ever received from her mother and so she wake up today gathering all her laundry and step out of her house to wash her laundry in the forest's river.

But guess what? The mermaids along with the other creatures are having a party there and they shooed her when she was about to set down her laundry basket, Y/n sulked and walk away from there with her basket.

Y/n had no choice but to go outside the forest and she start to look for a clean river, It took her two hours to find it and by the time she got there, she is drenched in sweat.

She wiped the sweats on her forehead and starts washing her clothes.

Y/n is not in her best mood right now, last night she didn't get enough sleep because of the mess she created and she had to listen to her mother's lectures, she can't join the mermaid's party, she had to walk for two hours to find a river in this hot weather.

She looks up to the sun and shows it her middle finger.

"Damn you, why do you have to be so hot" she then continues doing her laundry.

"Shit!" She cursed when she accidentally let go of her bra and it flows away, what a lucky day.

She runs to grab her bra but it flows further and further from her, she heard the sound of water splashing, she look up and saw
Jung Hoseok is swimming in the river.

Jung Hoseok the man she has not met for a long time, the last time she's with him was when they're playing water fight in the lake.

She felt her cheeks getting hot when she watch his half body exposed and the other half was in the water, he then brush his wet hair back, his muscular body is painted by the droplets of water slowly coming down from his hair, seeing him like this send a weird feeling that Y/n didn't know she can feel.

His eyes met hers and her body tense up, she quickly covered her eyes with her hands.

"D-don't worry! I didn't see anything..."

A deep chuckle escaped from his lips.

"It's okay, feel free to see more"

Y/n shakes her head and he let out another deep chuckle.

"Adorable" he mumbles but Y/n heard him and her face heats up more.

"Is this yours?" Y/n peeked from her fingers to see what's Hoseok talking about and what she saw made her jaw dropped.

Hoseok has a sexy smirk on his lips as he has her black bra and he held it up by its strap with his index finger.

"Y-yes! C-can I have it back please?" Y/n extended her hand to Hoseok while the other is still covering her eyes.

He licked his lips "Then come and get it."

"I'm not a dog!"

Hoseok shrugged "Okay then, it's mine"

"What?"

"Because you didn't want to get it then I guess it's mine," he said casually.

"No! What are you going to do with it?"

Hoseok smirked wider and Y/n knew she has to get it from him.

Y/n took off her flat shoes and step inside the river and slowly walks to Hoseok with her eyes still covered.

Once she felt she is close enough to him she extended her hand again.

"Give it to me"

"No, get it yourself," He said and held her bra higher, Y/n groaned and uncovered her eyes to look at him and she tried to not look down.

Y/n reaches out her hand to grab her bra but he held it higher.

"Stop playing with me!" She stands on her tiptoes and gripped his shoulder for support as she try to grab it again but Hoseok just held it up higher and higher so that Y/n couldn't reach it.

Hoseok enjoys seeing her struggling to get her bra from him, he enjoys having her body so close to his and he loves her grip on his shoulder, he wants to grab her waist and pressed her body on his but he controls it.

"Seems like you can't get it"

Y/n let out a huff "A little more"

"On the count of five if you still can't get it then its mine"

"Five..."

"Four..."

"Shh! I almost got it!"

"Three..."

"Two..."

"Aishh!" Out of frustration, she slapped Hoseok's chest and immediately regret it when he raised his eyebrows.

"What did you just did?"

"U-umm...sorry? Wait don't!" Hoseok dropped her bra and it sunk into the water, he then walked away and get out from the river.

Y/n searched her bra in the water and after some minutes she finally found it, she has a happy smile on her lips and proceed to get out from the river.

Her eyes met Hoseok who's now is fully clothed and is leaning against the tree with his arms crossed in front of his chest watching her with a small smile on his lips.

"Happy?"

She glared at him and ignore him, she then walk to where her laundry was with Hoseok following her like a lost chick looking for its mom.

"I haven't seen you in a long time, where we're you?"

"Just chilling in earth"

Hoseok laughed "I'm serious"

"I'm mostly at home"

Y/n thought about apologizing to Hoseok for leaving him alone in the past, she still feels guilty when she saw his hurt expression.

"Hoseok?"

"Yes, love?"

Y/n almost choked on her saliva when she heard him say that, she like being called with sweet nicknames, she cleared her throat and sighed.

"I'm sorry...for leaving you alone in the past, it was very rude of me"

She felt his hand patted her head "Don't worry, I was a little hurt but I'm okay now" he showed her his warm angelic smile that makes her heart melt, Is this the same man from five minutes ago?

Y/n put her bra in the basket and close it.

"Where are you going after this?"

"Home," Y/n said as she lift her basket from the ground.

"Let me take you"

"Oh no, it's oka-"

"I insist, I will forgive you if you let me take you home" Y/n sighed and eventually nodded, Hoseok happily take her hand in his and they walk to where Hoseok's horse is.

Hoseok helps her to sit on her horse and he commands the horse to start running.

"Where do you live?" Now Y/n had to lie again, she hates lying but sometimes she had to do it for a better outcome.

"I live in the noble high-class housing"

"Really? Then why are you washing your laundry in the river?"

"There's a problem with the water in the house I worked in" a sly lie comes out of her mouth.

"What do you work for?"

"I worked as a housemaid"

"Do they treat you well? Is your salary enough for your needs?"

"Yes! They do treat me well and they gave me enough for my salary, they sometimes gave me a bonus"

They are now entering the noble high-class housing, Y/n bites her bottom lip in nervousness she then points at a random house she finds fascinating.

"There! It's where the house I live in"

Hoseok nodded and he stopped his horse close to where the gates are but not in front of them, Y/n hop off his horse and look up at him with a smile on his face.

"You work for the Albeirghts?"

"Yes"

"So, do you forgive me?" Y/n continues.

Hoseok shrugged "We'll see about that" Y/n was about to ask him what did he meant by that but before she can Hoseok take her hand and kissed her knuckles.

"Goodbye love" he smiled at her and starts riding his horse.

"Thank you and Goodbye!" Y/n waved her hand to Hoseok, Hoseok turn his head to look at her waved back at her.

Y/n sighed and start walking to her real home.

Hoseok watched Y/n walk into the forbidden forest after the big thorns move to reveal a path, then it closed again after she walks deeper.

Hoseok knew she was lying the moment she lied about working for the high-class nobles and how they treat her well.

Hoseok knew that high-class nobles are all assholes but he thought that maybe there are still some high-class nobles that are kind.

That's until he knew where her 'work' place is.

The Albeirghts, Hoseok know them and they're the most disgusting noble he ever met, They hardly give their servants enough salary and they also treat their servants and others around them like animal shit.

But when they're with royals they act like the most kind and innocent people, that's why he hates them.

So after knowing Y/n was lying about where she lived Hoseok secretly followed her home, he thought that Y/n is just insecure about her real house but he was proven wrong again.

"What a pretty little liar you are Y/n," Hoseok said as he held up the back pantie he stole from her.

He was curious about how did she enter the forbidden forest? No one ever dared or even can enter the forbidden forest so how can she do it?

The forbidden forest was rumored as the cursed and haunted forest so that's why people were scared to look at it, let alone come close to it.

Hoseok felt himself drawn closer to Y/n despite the abnormal thing he just saw, he is curious about why is Y/n in there.

He then notices five men with different uniforms is hiding while spying on his love, he clenched his fist and analyses each of their uniforms.

The one that is hiding behind the bushes is wearing a black uniform, and Hoseok knew that he is from Gwangju.

The one that is hiding behind a large rock is wearing a silver uniform, he's from Incheon.

The one that is hiding on a tree is wearing a green uniform, he's from Daegu.

The one that is hiding inside of the tall grasses is wearing a navy blue uniform, he's from Busan.

And the last, the one that is hiding behind the wild plants is wearing a red uniform, he's from Seoul.

Hoseok takes out his bow and his carved arrows that can only be found in his Kindom and shoot each spy's shoulders

"Let this be a warning"

Sadly Hoseok didn't see the sixth spy that is spying on his love.

To, King Namjoon

Today I saw Lady Y/n come to a river to wash her laundry, she then meet King Hoseok who is swimming in the same river, and both act like they know each other, and they played together for some time.

King Hoseok offers her a ride home and now she lied about working as a maid and living with the Albeirghts.

But King Hoseok knew she was lying so he followed her home and discovered where she lives.

He then shoots the five different Kingdom royal spy's shoulders and rides away from there, it's a good thing he didn't notice me.

You have another rival in the game, King Namjoon.

And that is your best friend.

Namjoon sighed and rubbed his face, he just found out he and his best friend loves the same girl and is going to be one of his rivals.

'Anything for my Eve'

Namjoon start spying on Y/n ever since December, he spent his six months learning about the forbidden forest and reading theories about them and he also starts reading about magic since he was curious about them.

After discovering the truth about her and finding out his rivals, Kim Namjoon began to create a plan on how to get rid of his rivals and how to get Y/n to be his, His plans are neatly arranged and is ready, what he didn't expect is his best friend is joining the game.

His rivals are no joke, all of them are in the top seven most dangerous King in Korea so he had to be careful.

His plans will start tonight.

Namjoon writes each King a letter of invitation for a dinner in his Kingdom tomorrow night to discuss someone, and that someone is Y/n.

Just as he predicted, six King walks into his palace the day after they got the invitation, each has an angry look on their face.

"Welcome! Please take a seat I have already prepared a delicious meal for you all"

"Spit it out King Namjoon" Jungkook is the first one to speak after they all went to take their seat.

"Pardon? King Jungkook" Namjoon played dumb with an innocent smile on his lips.

"What do you want to discuss about Y/n?" Jin send a hard glare towards Namjoon but Namjoon smiled wider.

"Let's eat first shall w-"

The sound of someone slammed the table along with a loud screeching of a chair caught everyone's attention in the room and all eyes were on Yoongi who is looking mad.

"Spit.it.out." he growled.

Namjoon smiled wider, his plans are going to work.
