Chapter 12

"For your eyes only"

"Yoongi?"

"Hello babygirl" he smiles and helps me to stand up, I dust off the snow on my skirt and look back at him.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were already left"

"I forgot something and went back here"

I gasp when I notice something on his face, although he tried to cover it with his bangs and his hat I still can see the scar on his left eye.

"What happened to your eye?"

He then rubbed his neck awkwardly "I got into a fight...hehe"

"Wha-how?"

"I was drunk"

"Who's got into a fight with you?"

"Honestly I don't know, I don't remember what they look like, anyway are you okay?"

"Yea I'm fine, just my butt is freezing" Yoongi let out a chuckle before wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pull me to walk with him.

"Why are you running earlier? You seem rushed"

Taehyung I almost forgot about him, I look around the area and saw there was no sign of him so I thought he is already far from here "No...I just thought I saw someone.."

"What are you doing here Yoongi? And why are you dressing like a normal person?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean, you're King shouldn't you suppose to wear big expensive-looking winter clothes?"

"Sometimes I prefer people not noticing me, and I'm here just to take a stroll"

"What if you're getting robbed?"

"I think I should show you my fighting skills, darling"

Suddenly a guard stopped in front of us and blocked our way, Yoongi groaned and rolled his eyes.

"I told you not to follow me Soobin"

The guard bowed "I'm sorry Your Majesty, but I have to look for your safety and I'm here to tell you that there will be a snowstorm soon, I suggest we should head back to your cottage right now"

"Oh, then I should head back to my h-" Yoongi cut me off before I could finish.

"No, you're coming with us" I then send him a 'what do you mean look' and he sighed.

"My cottage is not too far from here and I think it's not safe for you to go back to your house, what if the storm happens when you're on your way home?" He is right, but how about mom? How do I let her know that I'm going to Yoongi's cottage? She is going to be so worried, There has to be a way.

"umm...I guess you're right" he then shows me his gummy smile "Then let's go!"

He was right, his cottage was not too far from where we were so the walk to his cottage didn't take long and we're now standing in front of his cottage.

Soobin opens the door for us and we walk into the cottage, the cottage does not look luxurious, it was simple but warm and very comfortable.

"take a seat, I'll bring you something to wear," he said and point at a big white couch.

"Oh, don't bot-" he cut me off

"Bla Bla can't hear you" he then walks away to another room, I walk towards the couch and sit on it, not long after Yoongi comes back with a big sweater and sweatpants and give it to me.

"Here, wash up and wear this" I take the warm clothes from his hand and he leads me towards the bathroom.

"The towels and the toothbrush are already in the bathroom"

"Thank you Yoongi," I said with a smile on my face.

"Don't take too long kitten" he winks at me and turns around to walk away.

I closed the bathroom doors and put the clothes Yoongi gave me on the counter, I strip away from my clothes and put my body on the bathtub letting it rest in the hot water.

I rest my head on the wall and stare up at the ceiling and start thinking about Taehyung.

I still can't understand how he knows about Shela, no one outside the forest has ever seen Shela before and she is smart enough to not let herself be seen when she's flying.

Except for that boy I met eight years ago.

I still don't know how he gets into the forest that night, but he looks frightened when I found him, I thought he just accidentally entered the forest so me and Shela fly him back to his home, he is the only person outside the forest that has seen Shela.

Could Taehyung be that boy from eight years ago?

After drying my hair I put on the sweater and the sweatpants and get out of the bathroom and walk towards the living room Yoongi isn't there so maybe he's somewhere in this cottage, I look at the window and see the snowstorm is already happening.

I sit on the couch and look around awkwardly cause I don't know what to do.

"How was the water?" I look in the direction of where the voice comes from and see Yoongi walking towards me with two mugs in his hand.

"It was perfect, Thank you" he sat beside me and hand me the mug

"What is this?"

"Hot Chocolate, classic."

I blew the hot chocolate before slowly sipping it, I yelped when I felt my tongue burned and quickly put the mug down on the table in front of us.

Yoongi laughed "Whoops, be careful" he then continues to laugh as I glared at him.

"Too late for that" I grumpily said.

"Let's do something, the snowstorm is going to last till midnight and I'm freaking bored" he lazily spread his arms and sighed, I spotted a chessboard on a shelf on the corner of the room, I grab it and show it to Yoongi.

"Wanna play chess?"

"I WIN!" I throw my arms up in the air and start jumping around the room.

"NO! I WANT ANOTHER ROUND!!" Yoongi said as he bangs his fist on the table.

"nO I wAnT aNoThEr RoUnD"

"Did you just mocked me?- nevermind let's play monopoly"

"YAH! GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!"

"yAh! GiVe Me bAcK mY mOnEy!!" He gets up and starts to run away with my 500 dollar bill, I groaned and starts to chase him.

"Nah I win so it's my turn"

"What do you mean? It's my turn"

"How?"

"The King is more powerful than the Que-"

"That is so misogynistic"

A/n's pov

The two spend the entire night playing board games, accusing each other of being cheaters, and chasing each other around the cottage. They even decide to bake cookies but it turns into world war three.

Sprinkles and flours are thrown across the room, She hides behind the kitchen table and dodges the flour attack from Yoongi, Yoongi grumbled as he failed to attack her.

"Grenade!" Y/n grabs a handful of sprinkles and throws it to Yoongi, the sprinkles hit his chest and he dramatically touches his chest and falls on the floor, Y/n stood on top of him and points her rolling pin at his neck like a sword.

"Any last word Your Majesty?" Yoongi chuckled and pull her hand so she would fall on top of him, he didn't waste his time and quickly changed the position, he is now sitting on top of her but he make sure not to put his whole body weight on her, Yoongi grab the rolling pin from you and press it on her neck.

"Any last word, Kitten?" Y/n was about to say something but dark clouds start to appear in the room with a terrible smell.

"The cookies!" Both of them quickly stood up and run to the oven Yoongi put on his oven mitt and opens the oven and grab the tray of cookies out.

"Um...it's a little burned so I think we can still eat it...?"

They shrugged and grab the cookie with their oven mitts on and carefully take a bite of the burned cookie, their facial expressions slowly morphed into a disgusting one, Y/n runs to the trash can while Yoongi runs to the sink and they both spit out the disgusting cookie.

"What the heck was that?!" Yoongi asks and wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"I'm pretty sure it's our last meal" Y/n looks out from the window and saw the snowstorm has already ended.

"Yoongi look! The snow looks so thick let's go outside!" Y/n runs to the front door and opens it but a big hand quickly slams the door closed.

"You crazy? At least put on something warm" Yoongi grabs her hand and drags her into his walk-in closet, he grabs a big black fur coat, a scarf, a beanie, and a pair of black fur boots and gloves he then helps her wear them.

Yoongi chuckled "You look like you're drowned" he then wears the same things as Y/n's, she secretly starts to blush when she notice that she and Yoongi are matching.

"Now let's go dummy" Yoongi once again grab Y/n's hand and both of them went outside, once they're outside Y/n let her body fall on the thick snow and Yoongi curiously look at her.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm making snow angels, join me!" He sighed and lay down beside her.

After making snow angels they both start to make a snowman but Yoongi decides to be a rebel so he ruins Y/n's snowman, he kicked the snowman's head and it falls on snow.

Yoongi gave her a mischief smirk when he saw Y/n's angry face, she then quickly run to where Yoongi's snowman is and destroy it.

Then they continue their world war three by throwing snows at each other, they even decide to build their fortress and destroys each other.

They eventually made up and built a huge snowman as their sign of peace, the guards that are guarding the cottage are shocked when they saw their King smiled so widely, he even agreed to play the childish game with the young lady.

Never in their life, they see their King is so happy they usually saw the King's stone-cold face and his angry face.

Yoongi and Y/n decide to get back inside to cottage when they are feeling sleepy, Yoongi shows her the room where she's going to sleep and gives her new warm clothes along with an invitation card.

"Hmm? What is this?"

"I'm going to throw a Christmas party at my Kingdom and we can go together tomorrow, what do you say?"

Without thinking twice Y/n nodded her head.

"Good night Yoongi"

"Good night Kitten"

A dark figure carefully lays down beside her so she doesn't wake up, he then starts to admiring her sleeping face and plays with her hair.

"What are you doing to me..."

The dark figure notice that there is a card on her bedside table so he reaches out his hand and grabs it, a sinister smirk appears on his lips after he reads them.

"A Christmas party huh?... Min Yoongi how dare you not inviting me" he slips the invitation card into his pocket and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulls her closer, he sniffed her hair and lets out a low moan when he smells her lavender scent.

"Mine..."
