Hey, guys. So I made a bunch of these before, but I haven't really updated and I'm sorry for that. I've just been really busy lately, so just please appreciate that I'm doing this a week before AP exams when I'm trying to study. Oh well, don't forget to Comment and vote! Happy reading.

No one's P.O.V

Marinette rushed down the stairs past Nathanael and Nino who watched her go in confusion. "Wh-Where are you going?" Marinette took a jacket off from the hanger.

"Promise or no promise. I can't stay here another minute!" They both watch as Marinette is about to leave.

"Oh no, wait, please wait!" Nino is about to say something, but Marinette slams the door behind her. Marinette goes to the stable and unhooks Phillipe. Then she begins to leave the forest unaware of the eyes set on her. When she starts to ride through the forest, she notices the wolves. She pulls on Phillipe's reins and tries to flee, but the wolves have already surrounded her. Phillipe bucks Marinette off, causing his reins to be tied to a tree. Then the wolves almost pounce on Phillipe, but Marinette knocks them off with a stick. She starts to beat the wolves, but doesn't know about the wolf behind her. Then the wolf jumped, but only to be caught by Chat Noir.

"NO ONE HARMS HER!" He started to fight off the wolves, but there were overpowering him. But then all the wolves run away after Chat Noir roars. He looks at Marinette then collapses. He was unconscious and right when Marinette is about to leave, she has this guilt pulling on her heart. She couldn't leave him here. So she put Chat Noir on Phillipe and started to walk towards the castle.

She lays Chat Noir on the bed and Alya pours a hot water into the bowl next to the bed. Marinette carefully dips a rag into it and looks up to see Chat Noir licking his wounds. "Here now. Oh, don't do that." She tries to touch him with the rag, but he keeps moving out of the way. "Just...hold still!" She touches the rag to one of his wounds and Chat roars in pain scaring the animate objects.

"That hurts!" Chat pouts like a little baby as Marinette dips the rag in water.

"If you'd hold still, it wouldn't hurt as much." Chat glares at Marinette.

"Well if you hadn't run away, this wouldn't have happened!" Marinette huffs.

"Well if you hadn't frightened me, I wouldn't have run away!" Chat opens his mouth to speak, but hesitates to think of a good counter-argument.

"Well, you shouldn't have been in the West Wing!" Marinette slams the rag in the water.

"Well, you should learn to control your temper!" Chat puts his head down and his ears seem to droop. Marinette pulls out the rag from the water and twists the excess water out. "Now, hold still. This may sting a little." Chat Grunst, but grits his teeth as Marinette applies the rag to his would. "By the way...thank you for...um...saving my life." Chat looks at Marinette and could feel his heart begin to melt.

"You're welcome." He smiles secretly.

Kim's P.O.V

"I don't usually leave the asylum in the middle of the night, but they said you'd make it worth my while." I pull out a sack of gold and throw it in front of Hawkmoth. He takes one out and carefully observes it. "Aah, I'm listening." I lean forward.

"It's like this. I've got my heart set on marrying Marinette, but she needs a little persuasion." Max puts his head in.

"Turned him down flat!" I dump a beer mug on his head. Annoying prick.

"Everyone knows her father's a lunatic. He was here tonight raving about a beast in a castle.." Hawkmoth leans back.

"Tom is harmless." I glare at him.

"The point is..." I look around to make sure no one's listening. "Marinette would do anything to keep him from being locked up." Max looks at Hawk moth again.

"Yeah, even marry him!" I give Max another threatening look and he hides again.

"So you want me to throw her father in the asylum unless she agrees to marry you?" Max and I both nod. "Oh, that is despicable! I love it!" There was a wicked glance in Hawk moth's eyes.

Tom's P.O.V

I started to packing. "If no one will help me, then I'll go back alone. I don't care what it takes. I'll find that castle and somehow get her out of there." I won't lose her like I lost Sabine. Then I leave into the woods.

No one's P.O.V

Kim, Hawkmoth, and Max arrive at Marinette's cottage.

"Marinette! Tom!" There was no response.

"Oh, well, I guess it's not going to work after all." Kim grabs Max by his collar and walks outside.

"They have to come back sometime, and when they do, we'll be ready for them." Kim drops Max into a snowbank by the porch. "Max, don't move from that spot until Marinette and her father come home." Max looks at Kim with worried eyes,

"But, but...aw, nuts!" Then snow falls on his head.

Chat Noir's P.O.V

My heart was thumping uncontrollably as I watched Marinette play with her horse and petting Plagg. What was this feeling? Was it love? "I've never felt this way about anyone." I smile as look at Nathanael and Nino. "I want to do something do something for her.

"Well, there's the usual things like flowers, chocolates, promises you don't intend to keep." Nino shakes his head.

"Ahh, no, no. It has to be something very special. Something that sparkles her inter-" He freezes. "Wait a minute."

I lead Marinette down the hall holding her hands guiding her. My heart was beating so fast. "Marinette, there's something that I want to show you." I begin to open the door, but I think that a surprise it better. "But first, you have to close your eyes." Marinette looks at me questioningly. "It's a surprise." Marinette giggles and closes her eyes. I wave my hand in front of her face just to make sure that she closed her eyes. I smile as I open the doors. Then I take her hand and lead her inside.

"Can I open them?" The curtains were closed they had to be open. I rushed over to open them.

"No, no. Not yet. Wait there." I watch as the sunlight opens and Marinette flinches as the light hits her.

"Now can I open them?" I smile.

"All right. Now." I watch as Marinette opened her eyes and look around at the library.

"I can't believe it! I've never seen so many books in all my life." I smile.

"You-You like it?" She turns towards me and smiles. It leaves me dazed.

"It's wonderful." She really loves to read.

"Then it's yours." Marinette hugs me and I feel a smile slowly creeping on my face.

"Oh, thank you so much." I hug her back.

No one's P.O.V

"Oh, would you look at that" Alya, Nino, Alix, Nathanael, and Tikki all watch Chat Noir and Marinette running around the hall.

"HA HA! I knew it would work." Tikki looked at Nino confusingly.

"What? What works?" Nathanael nods.

"It's very encouraging." Alix shyly smiles.

"Isn't this exciting!" Tikki frowns.

"I didn't see anything." Alya smiles at Tikki.

"Come along, Tikki. There are chores to be done in the kitchen." Tikki looks back at the library as everyone else walks away.

"But what are they talking about? What's going on?" Then Tikki followed Alya.

Marinette and Chat Noir are eating across from each other for breakfast. Marinette seems to eat properly while Chat Noir is stuffing his face. Marinette giggles as she lifts to bowl to sip on her breakfast. Chat smiles and does the same thing. Then later, they're outside feeding the birds.

"There's something sweet

And almost king

But he was mean

And he was coarse and unrefined.

But now he's dear

And so unsure

I wonder why I didn't see it there before." Marinette leads a trail of seed into Chat's hand and one bird hops into his hand. He smiles up at Marinette who smiles in return.

"She glanced this way,

I thought I saw

And when we touched

She didn't shudder at my paw.

No it can't be

I'll just ignore

But then she's never looked at me that way before." Marinette hides behind a tree. She puts a hand to her rapid beating heart and when she turns around she sees Chat covered in birds. She giggles.

"New and a bit alarming

Who'd have ever thought that this could be?

True, that he's not prince charming

But there's something in him that I simply didn't see." Marinette throws a snowball at Chat and starts a huge snowball fight. Alya, Nino, Nathanael, and Tikki are all watching them.

"Well, who'd have thought?"

"Well, bless my soul."

"And who's have known?"

"Well, who indeed?"

"And who'd have guessed they'd come together on their own?"

"It's so peculiar."

"We'll wait and see

A few days more

There may be something there that wasn't there before." Marinette sits in front of the fire with Chat as she is reading to him. The animate objects are watching them again.

"Yes, perhaps there's something there that wasn't there before." Tikki looks confusingly at them again.

"What?"

"There may be something there that wasn't there before." Tikki looks at Alya.

"What's there, Alya?" Alya smiles as she walks away with Tikki following her.

"I'll tell you when you're older." Tikki frowns.
