Hey, It's been a while! I hope you enjoy this chapter, and I'd like to take out time to thank Tyra2711 s4diah03 jward571 DeathIsAUnicorn Zeph777 MorganaPine for all the support they've given me 😁❤

"Cole."
"Good to know you remember my face after all these years."

"Would it be just as good to know the only reason he remembers you is because he hates you?" Hayley asked, and when Dominic and Cole glared at her, she shrugged. "Sorry, forget I'm even here. Continue."

"You told her?" Cole's eyes widened, and the expression he gave Hayley made her open her mouth and then close it. Would it be that bad if someone told her something?

"Yeah, well I wasn't really expecting a family reunion anytime soon." Dominic gritted his teeth.

Hayley fought back the urge to say, 'Carry on, its affecting him' when she saw Cole's expression darken.

Part of her wanted to stay while she could watch Dominic be tortured by his brother - oh how the screams would be like music to her ears - but then she realised that she was collateral damage.

Cole wanted Dominic, so there was a huge chance she wasn't needed here.

What a relief. After all, every man for himself, right?

Really? Are you sure about that?

Oh shutup.

"All due respect, but don't you think it'll be better if you have your privacy? You know I could go..." Hayley smirked, and Cole rolled his eyes.

"Don't act smart. How can you tolerate her, brother? I know you've always been one to like the bad ass girls, Izzy proved that, but she--"
he pointed at Hayley and cut off with a sigh, as if she was some big bad wolf who killed his mom.

Hayley was going to ask why he was rudely referring to her in third person, but saw the look on Dominic's face and realised what Cole had said.

'Izzy proved that'. Oh, no he didn't.

"What do you want, Cole?" Dominic finally managed, and Hayley always thought he gave her the worst looks, but there was someone who he gave worse ones too.

Except you're comparing yourself to his fiancee's killer.

Right.

"Hey, asshole. You wanted your bro, it's cool I get it. So why don't you just... let me go?" Hayley called, and Cole let out a laugh.

Dominic raised his eyebrows at her. She just shrugged, whispering from across.
"It was worth a try. I mean, why go through all the hard work to get us out when we can just ask nicely?"

"I'm loving the whispering. I definitely can't hear you, I assure you." Cole spoke, bored.

Hayley scoffed, "Yeah, because I'm not talking to you. Rude. You shouldn't be listening anyway, asshole."

If there was one thing that resembled the both of them, it was that they hated being sworn at. She paid attention to the weirdest of details, and no one had to tell her that for her not to know.

"Seeing as though you are strapped to a chair, imprisoned in my place, being tortured by me, you ought to mind yourself."

Cole walked up to her and cut her across the cheek very slowly, Hayley wincing slightly.

She spat in his face. "Why don't you do that for me too, since you've got me all figured out." And grinned.

Dominic let out a chuckle, and shook his head in disbelief. "We're never getting out of here alive. Well, you aren't."

Cole slapped her across the face, and Hayley put her heel down on his foot with force and he staggered back with a yell.

"You bitch." Dominic widened his eyes at Cole with a laugh, who was grunting, and Hayley felt her cheek burning up.

"Aw, Dominic. A little optimism would be nice."

"I don't even know where this is going, Cole. Tell us what you want or let us go." Dominic rolled his eyes, and Cole began to storm out, but stopped before he left the room.

"You probably think I'm the same old helpless brother that used to listen to you all the time, but I assure you, I'm not. And this bitch will pay alongside you too." And he walked out.

"Great. I'm literally collateral damage. I don't even like you, but I'm paying for your sins." Hayley shrugged sarcastically as if she knew why this happening.

"It's cool. I totally understand." Not.

"Maybe if you kept your trap shut for a second, we could've had a chance of getting out of here and figure out what he wanted."

"Don't turn this on me just because your little brother has some vendetta against you, that you would've found out whether I spoke or not." She made a face at him, and before he could speak she added,

"And as for getting out, I think he made sure that your non existent bro charm won't do the trick."

The door opened, and Cole walked in with people behind him.

"She's right."
"Ah, what did you--" but she was cut off as he injected her with something that made her vision blurry, and all she saw was black, murmuring a curse under her breath before it happened.

* * * *

Hayley woke up with a sharp pain in her side, and as she put her hand to her hip she moved it back and saw red all over it.

"So the bitch took revenge, while I was drugged. What a bitch!" She realised, and then took in her surroundings.

A chuckle from somewhere around was heard, and Hayley got up, wincing to see that she was in a cell, with metal bars to keep her from getting out.

The noise was from Dominic, who was in the cell beside hers, awake a little before her.

"Just when I was getting used to the tiny moment of peace of quiet." He spoke, and she rolled her eyes.

"Nice to know you're alive too."

"Well if that's the drug messing with our brains, then yeah, it's good to know I'm alive too." He smirked.

Hayley laughed. As weird as it was, and the possibility of her never getting out present, she laughed.

"Has anyone ever told you how much of a pain in the ass you are?"

"Has anyone ever told you that you laugh like a donkey?"

"Can you see me?" She asked Dominic, and she heard him moving.

"No, why? What are you doing?"

"I'm holding up both middle fingers at you."

He let out a bark of laughter, and for a moment, she felt happy. The memory of the night before they were 'kidnapped' came to mind, and she smiled a little to herself.

There was a thud from Dominic's cell, and she shifted.

"Can you see me?" He called, and she knitted her eyebrows. What was he doing?

"No. Why?"
"I'm not telling you." She could sense him laughing to himself, and she just sat back against the wall and winced.

"Hey, you good?" Dominic asked after a couple of seconds, his tone serious.

"Yeah, totally. Your brother sliced me open, that's all. And he didn't even get me a bandage."

He was silent. And then he stated, "Yeah, well my brother and I don't have a lot of things in common. You see that's me, I'll hurt you and then bandage you up too."

"Yeah, and that you're an asshole and he's a bitch."

She ripped her top from the bottom all around so it came up short like a crop top, and wrapped that around her hip, fastening it with a sharp intake of breath at her side.

Dominic was stood against the wall inside his cell, and he was getting flashbacks of Isabelle, himself and Cole, and was wondering where he had gone wrong.

He was going to do his best to keep his brother out of trouble, family before anything and anyone, but clearly Cole didn't see that. Didn't trust his elder brother.

And as much as he hated Hayley, he was glad she was there with him right now, no idea why, but he was.

When he heard that Cole had hurt her, there was a sharp pang in his chest. Was it anger? Or was it jealousy that he couldn't do it himself?

The latter was what he was going with, to make himself feel better.

But still, there was this feeling he couldn't shake off. He wanted to kill Cole, more than he ever did, and hearing Hayley in pain just increased the need.

It was definitely the drugs affecting him.

"He didn't even tell us what he wanted with us." Hayley said, and he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

"I think he wants revenge for what happened to him all those years ago."

"Fine. But why now?" Hayley shrugged.

"Maybe he got a chance to take me down, and made a deal with someone who wanted to take down the both of us."

"Wow, I really am loving this movie we call our lives. This scene has got to be the worst, where we get some stew for food." She rolled her eyes, and Dominic nodded.

"Yeah, and then because you're hungry, I give up mine for you to eat. Because I'm a gentleman."

"Nah, in our situation, I ask for your food too, because I don't care whether you starve, only that I shouldn't."

They both started laughing, and then Hayley looked down at her hip and saw that the blood was making its way through the thin fabric, and she felt a little dizzy.

"Dom? I think I'm going to faint."
"What? Why?"
"The blood... It's too much."

Dominic clenched his fists, hating that he couldn't do anything, and just put his head against the wall.

"You won't die." He spoke, fighting back the statement 'I won't let anything happen to you'.

She gasped a laugh, "I hate you, Allistor."

"I hate you too." He smiled to himself, and waited for her to say something else, but she didn't.
He only heard her faint breathing, and his heart skipped a beat when he couldn't hear it anymore, so he walked towards the bars and shouted.

"Cole! Hey! She needs a bandage, you-- Somebody!" The door opened and he heard footsteps.

"Tell me what you want, I'll give you it. Just... help her." Dominic gritted his teeth, and Cole came into view smirking.

"I knew she was more than a target to you."

"She isn't-- this is between you and me."

"You're right. " Cole nodded. "And she's just been in the way. I'll leave her to die."

Dominic tightened his fists around the bars, his knuckles beginning to whiten.

"Help her."
"What's in it for me?"

Dominic sighed, and closed his eyes.
"I'll give you anything."
"What could you possibly give me that I don't already have?" He laughed.

"Whatever you want."
"Anything?" Cole's eyes darkened, and Dominic nodded.
"Anything."
"Careful, you just walked into the devil's lair."

Dominic looked at his brother, fire burning behind his eyes.

"Oh, brother. I am the devil."

* * * *

Hayley woke up, for the third time that day, and felt sick, annoyed at the fact that she kept sleeping.

She needed a hot chocolate, and when she opened her eyes she saw that she was in a cell, she remembered.

Looking down, she expected to have died from the loss of blood, but saw that she was all patched up.

Opening the bandage, there were stitches in the place she was hurt, and she slowly put the bandage back on.

What happened?

"Dominic?" She called, hoping he was there.

Dominic had been sat in his cell, while a couple of people had walked into hers and patched her up, Cole talking to him and then leaving, then leaving him to wait for her to wake.

The only thing he did was dread the fact that he didn't know what Cole was up to, and what he had agreed to.

When she did, and he heard her call his name, he sat up.

"How are you feeling?"
"Like someone cut me open and then stitched me back up." She spoke, and after she said that, he chuckled.

"He is your brother, after all then." Hayley said, and Dominic scoffed.

"You're not denying it, either." She realised when he didn't reply. "What happened?"

Dominic wiped a hand over his face, stressed.
"What makes you think anything happened?"

"Because that always happens with me. I'm the kid that used to miss school and on the same day Tupac or Michael Jackson came back from the dead."

"Yeah, well no one came back from the dead. Only, I'm going to die."

"What?"
"It was a joke. But it's nice to know you care." He smirked, and he just sensed her roll her eyes.

"That was me surprised, because it's like my dream came true."

"How tragic."
"Mm hmm. Now tell me."
"Nothing, seriously."
"Don't make me come there, and pull your ears until you tell me."

"I'll tell you." Someone spoke from the shadows, and then stepped out. It was Cole, and Hayley just raised her eyebrows.

"If that was an attempt at making an entrance, try changing your face. It'll be better next time."

"Ugh, how I wanted you to die. But Dom here made a deal with me so that you don't. " He came up to her cell and smirked devishly.

"You know, you still haven't told us why you've got us here." Hayley said, trying hard to ignore what he just told her. "And I'm getting a little bored."

"Very well, then. Since you're going to die anyways, I suppose I can tell you a little story."

"Can't wait." Dominic stated, and Hayley smiled to herself.

"You already know most of the story, so I'll start from when my clever brother called the cops.

I have to admit, that was the most stupidest thing to do, but Dom didn't know, and I didn't want to drag him into everything any more than he already was."

Dominic laughed sarcastically. "Because me and my family being threatened wasn't classed as involved."

"Just don't. I knew you were going to hand me over to the FBI, you always hated me."

"What the--"
"Just talk, Cole." Hayley interrupted, and Dominic went quiet.

"The FBI wanted me, they would either shoot me on sight or lock me up for life, but they'd protect Isabelle and Dominic at all costs. So all I could do was run while I had the chance.

I didn't know that they wouldn't save them, I didn't, but when I heard what happened I was already on my way to a safehouse one of my assassin colleague lived at.

I knew there was no going back, that Dominic would hate me, but I didn't care. Why? I realised after, but I'm glad I did. Because you never cared about me. I blamed myself for what happened with Isabelle for a while, but then I realised it wasn't my fault.

Everyone does things they have to in order to survive, and I'm sure you've both killed your fair share of people to understand where I'm coming from.

But that's not why I hate you, big brother.

Five years ago, I came to meet you and clear things out. I found out you were part of the Base, and me, off the grid, kept tabs on you.

I found out you were on a mission in Algeria, and when I was going to show up to talk, I heard you on the phone.

You were talking to some guy, asking him if he knew what he was doing, and then you told him that you wanted 'Cole Hawke' assassinated, offering him three million dollars as a reward.

I had wanted to come back, to you, and I searched for you for two years consistently, only to find out you hired someone to kill me.

I was on the run for six whole months, and when the guy found me, it turns out all he needed was another three million from me to tell you I was dead, and it was what I needed to disappear.

Now, when I got the offer of a clean slate from the Base, I took it. And when I found out all I needed to do was kill the brother that hired someone to kill me, I decided it was time to return the favour.

And you, Hayley Williams, seems like no one wants you. You were told to kill Dominic, and with that they hoped you'd be assassinated instead. What you did, only you know, and I'm willing not to tell anyone if you do something for me." He finished.

Hayley felt her face go pale, and Dominic turned, breathing heavily, and punched the wall with all his strength.

Cole started laughing, and then walked out, sending two people with two trays in behind him.

One was Jacob, the guy who Hayley pissed off a lot in the other room, and the other was a random person.

There was a silence between Dominic and Hayley, that which was deafening.

Hayley had her own demons, and so did he. He didn't tell her about the hit man he hired, and she didn't tell him about what happened three years ago with her.

Jacob put down the food on the floor and spat in it, then sliding it under her cell. In that time, she got up and held his shirt through the bars, slamming him forward towards her, his face hitting the bars with a crunch.

He fell back with a yell, and the other guy helped him up and took him, giving Hayley a dirty look and she smiled back at him until he looked the other way.

Jacob was yelling, "You bitch, watch what I do to you!"

Hayley laughed. "I look forward to it!" She called after him as the door closed, and they went back to the awkward silence.

"You didn't have to tell me." Was all she said after a while, and Dominic, on his side, was staring at his bruised knuckle.

"I know."

"Well there's no point gloating about it, what happened : happened. Let's focus on the situation at hand. Let's get the hell out of this depressing place."

She smiled, and held her hand out of the bar, showing the two keys she had gotten from Jacob.

Dominic just laughed in disbelief.

3064 words!!! I'm back, lol. Tell me, did you like that this chapter was in third person? Because I did, but I'm thinking of going back to Hayley's perspective for the next one.

What did you think? And do you like Dominic, or not?

Let me know by commenting, and vote on this chapter if you liked it. ❤❤❤
