Chapter 10

"Okay I'm sorry Fiona, do you forgive me?" Jarvis asked the somewhat fifty thousandth time.

Which I kinda did, because he told me the League (people I worked for) transferred him to another place, and since he was a robot inside a drive, there was basically nothing he could do.

"Fine. Only because I understand, but" I looked around the treehouse and then smirked " only if you book me a one week ticket to Turkey"

"Deal"

"Yayyy!!!" I danced around the tech room chanting "I'm going to Turkey".

I then abruptly stopped and sighed " Hey Jarvis? "

"Yes, your highness?"

I rolled my eyes but couldn't contain my laugh "Put me some music on. Some upbeat one. Don't pull out some next level Elvis Presley please"

Silently, which was a surprise, music began to play, and my face lit up with joy and I shouted over it

"JARVIS I LOVE YOU! YOU'RE BEGINNING TO KNOW THE INNER ME!"

Major Lazer - Light it up.

Definitely just the song I needed.

Three days later I was enjoying my third day in Turkey so much I was full of energy and had no idea what to do.

I told Jarvis he could be with me while I was there but he said the League wouldn't allow him, as there were thousands of assassins who could need someone like him.

"The League" I scoffed. Could they have named themselves a little scarier name...?

But before he went I told him to give me a list of things I could do in Turkey, because I just knew I'd end up lost. But I was clever wasn't I? I did everything in two and a half days, which left me with four and a half days to do whatever came up.

I was staying at the beach house Jarvis bought for me, which was well equipped with anything and everything I needed *insert wink*. On the third day, I went shopping in the morning and bought some souvenirs from a small shop, and also bought myself a traditional outfit that the women of Turkey used to wear back in the day. After that I came to the house and watched some Ertugrul on Netflix, then went to sunbathe under the scorching sun.

And that's all I did. Sunbathed, and then sunbathed a little more.

While sunbathing, I sensed something coming towards me, so pushing my sunglasses up onto my head I welcomed a flying beachball... Coming straight for my face. But I caught it just in time, and then looked over to see someone jogging towards me.

He had brown hair, and it came just until his ears, the perfect long. And as he jogged, it lifted slowly and then came back down. But he was slightly familiar, except what startled me a little was the red scar running from the end of his eyebrow down to his lip.

But it made him look real handsome. And me, being the blind loser I was, didn't recognise him until he stopped in front of me and smiled

"Hey. Fiona, right?"

Then it clicked. "Oh my god, Henry? Hi!" I laughed, and then handed him the ball.

"Oh, sorry about that erm, we kind of didn't see you there."

"Lol, it ain't that hard not to notice the elephant on a neon green chair, but oookay." I laughed at myself, and then felt like slapping myself as well.

Chillout, he's just shirtless.

He let out a little chuckle and then nodded "What a coincidence eh? Seen you in Manhattan just last week and now here a couple of days later."

"I know right" I took a sip of the cocktail on the table beside me "So, you off work?"

"Yeah, I am. I got a week off actually, so I thought why not?" Henry smirked.

"Oh my gosh Same!" I grinned "this is so weird it's all exactly the same"

He grinned back "I know. So er, what are you going to do?"

I just shrugged "I'm just going to sunbathe a little more"

"Hey, can you bring the ball already?"
Someone called from behind.

The grin was still on his face, and the scar was a little creased "You wanna join us?"

I looked over to see a couple of guys (also in trunks) staring at the two of us impatiently but smirking.

"Sure." And then I pointed at the scar "That's all that has changed since the last time we met. Mind if I ask what happened?"
We were walking back to the boys when I asked, and he just looked down at me while we spoke.

Height difference, let's not mention.

"Oh, this" he smiled and placed a finger on the scar " I got mugged a day after we met. So it's healing, that's all."

"Damn"

"Yeah, oh well. It ruined my face"

"I think it's cool" I shrugged, and he looked at me strangely

"Cool?"

"Uh huh"

He just laughed "Thanks. No one's ever said that about an ugly scar."

"There's a first time for everything, right?" I fluttered my eyelashes up at him with a cheeky grin, and Henry pushed me slightly laughing

"Shut up"

We played a game of beachball, and he then asked me if I wanted to go to eat at a diner, and me being the world's fattest shit who couldn't say no to food (and a handsome guy) – said yes.

After we ate with the boys, who were, I had to say, a laugh, we went to see a show of some sea animals and then headed back.

I said bye to them all and then headed back to the beach house with Henry, who didn't like me going alone in the dark.

What did he think, that I couldn't defend myself?

But I said okay, and then we walked back together. We were sat on the sand, looking out at the water, and he asked me

"So what do you work as?"
"A journalist, but under a company. So they send me places they want journalling. If that's even a word" I laughed.

"Oh, okay. That's cool. So how many places have you been?"

"Mostly everywhere. Nearly all around the world" and after seeing his impressed expression I asked

"What about you?"

He ran a hand through his hair and shrugged " I work in a family garage "

I playfully nudged him "Is it called Henry's?"

"Shush" he smirked, letting sand run through his fingers, and I let out a whoop of laughter

"It is called Henry's?!"

But my laughter was interrupted as his phone vibrated.

Before we went to eat I ran to the house and pulled a yellow summer dress over my head, and Henry and his mates put on their shirts they left on the side.

He reached into the pocket of his trunks and took out his phone, looking down at it with a confused expression.

"You okay?" I asked, he then put the phone away and nodded

"My uncle asked me to do something for him, since I'm here"

"Oh, well you do that, and I'm tired I think I need to get some sleep." I leaned a bit back and yawned.

Henry smirked " You know you're really weird for a girl."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I raised my eyebrows, and he nodded

"You're just not normal"

"Would you care to explain, Mr. I just met you and I know everything about you?"

"You belched after that burger you ate"

I sat up, "That was not a belch. That was me trying so hard not to burp so loud!"

"Well all the girls I've met don't burp-"

"Are we not human?"

"– in public." He finished, and I stood up and smiled

"Okay, I'm not normal."
"Right"
"Well, thanks for today I really enjoyed it."

Henry stood up, and dusted the sand off his trunks "Me too. I'm glad we had that show to go to, otherwise we would've been real bored"

"So, goodnight then?"

"Already?"

"Yeah, you go hang out with the boys I don't want to leave you stuck with me" I beamed.

"And If i stay?"

"I'll make you dress up like Michael Jackson and do your makeup"

"Okay, I'm going" he chuckled, "Although I can moonwalk. Wanna see?"

"Some other day, we can't leave all the fun for now" I laughed.

"Won't I see you tomorrow?" He asked, his eyebrows knitted in confusion.

"I don't know"

"Okay, well goodnight then, Fiona."
"Night, Henry"

"You know I have to say," he began walking backwards, and so did I as made my way to the house " You don't suit the name Fiona. I mean, you don't look like a Fiona."

"What, am I supposed to be green and ugly?" I smirked, and he bit his lip

"The latter you are, but what I'm trying to say is" his shoulders shook as he laughed and I gasped in shock " You look more like a Susan or a Lily"

"Well I'm not, my name is Fiona, but you don't suit the name Henry either. You suit Gerald or Trevor" I shouted as we started getting further from each other.

"Goodnight, Fiona!" He shook his head in disbelief, and then ran off after I waved at him.

I turned around and walked into the beach house, thinking about this abnormal individual.

Another friend, about to disappear in a few days. As I flung my dress off and changed into something comfortable after a hot shower, I went and put on a movie to watch.

Hobbs And Shaw was on, and I was about to play it for the tenth time, because I loved it so much, (and just because Jason Statham was in it) but my phone pinged.

I was on stanby for a week, but because the four targets were here in Turkey, I had to assassinate them all in these four days.

I needed Jarvis.
