Once upon a time.. In a village far away, a young prince lived in a magnificent castle. Although he had almost everything, he became, spoiled, greedy, and filled with lust. But then, on a cold winter night, an old woman came to the castle and offered him a single scarlet pimpernel, in return for shelter from the dying cold. He had glared at the poor gift, and had turned the old woman away. She warned him not to be deceived by the appearance, for true beauty was found within.  When he dismissed her once more, the old woman's appearance had suddenly disappeared to reveal a young  sorceress. The young prince tried to apologize for his actions, but it was too late. For she had seen there was no kindness in his heart. As punishment, she had transformed him into a psychopath, and placed a curse on the castle and all who lived there. Ashamed of his fearful state, the prince hid himself in his castle, with a magic looking glass as his only window to the world outside. The scarlet pimpernel she had offered was truly an enchanted flower, which would bloom for many years. If he could learn to love a fair lady, and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell.. Then.. The spell soul be broken. If not, he would remain a freak for all time. He had lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a psycho...?
