As our young Pines walked back to her little home, she had noticed that there was a visitor at the door. 'Oh great...' She thought to herself as her visitor came closer to her. 

"G.. Gideon..! What a great surprise...!" She says, obviously being sarcastic. He smiles slightly. 

"What can I say..? I guess I'm a surprising person." She smiles nervously at him. 

"S-So.. What brings you here...?" He grinned at her and started inching towards her. "There's.. Something I've been meaning to ask you. " She slowly starts backing into a wall.

"I-Is that so..? W-Well, what is it..?" She asked, nervously. He smirked and inched towards her. 

"What if I told you that there was a way your dreams could come true?" She raised a suspicious eyebrow at him.

"And what do you know of my dreams, Gideon?" She asked, crossing her arms. He chuckled slightly.

"Oh.. I know more than you think... Here, imagine this." He says sitting down and making her sit on his lap. "An olden cabin in the woods, a nice meal sitting on the table near a warming fire, my most beautiful wife reading to me, while our children play in the yard with the dogs. We'll have four or five."

"Dogs...?" He chuckled.

"No, my dear. Handsome boys, like me!"He said with enthusiasm. Mabel smiled nervously. 

"Isn't that.. nice..?"

"And do you know who the lucky girl is..?" Gideon asked, inching closer to her. Mabel backed into a wall.

"Uhh..."

"You, my dear Mabel." She smiled nervously.

"M-Me..? But.. aren't there other girls in the village that would make a better mate for you than I..?"

"There's plenty of girls in this town, but I find you the most beautiful and talented girl of them all." Mabel's face turned a light shade of red.

"I-I don't know what to say... It's a nice offer, but-"

"Say you'll accept my proposal." Gideon said with a smirk.

"I-I'm sorry, but.. I.. I just don't deserve you.." She said, opening the door she had been pinned to, causing Gideon to fall on the porch. Mabel quickly closed the door and locked it, sliding to the floor and sighing.
