Percy Jackson was staring....... At me, Annabeth Chase.

Me, Annabeth Chase, the nerdiest girl in school.

Percy Jackson, the captain of the swim team, the dreamboy for every girl in school, and the kindest guy in school, was staring at me, Annabeth Chase.

How, you may ask? I have absolutely no freaking idea how, or what cruel trick of fate this is.

So, anyways, after auditions were over, Piper invited Hazel and I over to her house. My father was of on a work trip, so I texted my stepmom, Helen.

Hey! Piper invited Hazel and I over to her house for a little while. Can I go?

Of course! What time do you think you'll be home by?

I'll probably be back by 6. Is that okay?

Absolutely! Just make sure that you have enough time to do your homework. I'll see you after school!

Alright, thank you! I'll see you later!

I was excited now!

"Annabeth! Did Helen say you could go?" Piper had a happy and mischievous sparkle to her kaleidoscope eyes.

"She did! I have to be back around 6 though, is that okay?" I knew it would be, but my father did raise me with manners.

"Yes! Hazel, what did your dad say?"

"He said that was fine, as long as I pick up Nico from Jason's house after, and that we're home by 6:30. Does your mom mind picking up Nico?" This was Hazel, even though Nico was older, she still always looked out for him.

"No, she offered to drive us if we needed it. Are you guys excited?" The sparkle in Piper's eyes was 100% mischievous now. What did she have in store?

°°° (time skip because I don't know what else to write here)

"Haha! Draw four b-" Hazel covered Piper's mouth for the 7th time this round.

"Piper McLean! Do not use that language! Now, are you ready for me to uncover your mouth?" Hazel had a strict non-swearing rule, and God help anyone who cursed in her presence.

Piper was smiling, but she nodded as Hazel removed her hand. This is what usually happened when we played Uno, Piper got overconfident when she had a good card, Hazel constantly covered Piper's mouth when she cursed, and I would sit there laughing my head off, and silently celebrating because I was winning.

After 5 minutes, Piper thought she had it in the bag, Hazel smacked her arm because she kept swearing, and I knew that I was going to win. Again.

"UNO -" Piper didn't even finish her sentence before Hazel smacked a hand over her mouth. That was it, we exploded into laughter and we never found out who won.

We got snacks, and sat down on the beanbag chairs in Piper's room to talk.

"So, Annabeth, would you like to tell Hazel who was staring at you after your audition today?" This was what Piper had planned. Major embarrassment.

"Piper! We have no proof that anyone was staring at me!" I knew that I was redder than a tomato, "But, Percy Jackson want looking at me!" Now I've done it.

Hazel and Piper were beside themselves as Hazel wheezed out, "Are you serious?" I nodded, irritated at their humor. "Your face!" And they fell on the floor again, in fits of uncontrollable laughter.

"Alright, alright. Laugh it up. You know Piper, I saw the way you smiled and blushed when Hazel said we needed to pick up Nico from Jason's house! Explain that, huh?"

"I did not!"

"You did too Piper! Annabeth and I saw it!"

"Well, that's only because..... Because..... Because..... Uh..... Because I'll admit it, Jason is cute, but so is Leo, but I don't have a crush on either of them! Especially Leo! And Hazel, you don't seem opposed to the idea of seeing Frank later. What about that?"

"I don't like Frank! That's why I'm not opposed to seeing him!" Hazel was red, and it was hilarious.

"Ok Hazel, whatever you say. Let's just play truth or dare. You wanna go first Piper?"

"Oh, yes. Now, Hazel. Truth. Or. Dare?" Piper was terrifying now.

"Uh.... Dare," she hesitated, and she bit her lip.

Piper chuckled. "Dare? You got it. I dare you to go up to Frank later and say, 'Frank, I like you, so have a nice day!' And just strut out of there, Nico in tow. You up for it, or must we give you the truth of shame?" Piper rubbed her hands together maniacally.

Hazel swallowed and said, "I accept your dare. Annabeth, truth or dare?" Hazel smiled evilly, which never happened, so as you can imagine, I got scared a little.

"Dare! Show me what you got Levesque!"

"I dare you to stand next to Percy and sing the song you sang for the audition. But, you have to make it so he doesn't know that you're purposely singing to him. Got it?"

My face flushed as I shook my head, "Nope. I'll take a truth, y'all know I don't sing for people.  You forced me to, today."

"Fine, do you like Percy?"

"No," it was reflexive, but did I like Percy? No, I don't. I think...... I'm 99.9% sure that I don't like Percy.

"Piper! Truth or dare?" She was gonna get it now.

"You know me! Bring it on!"

"Alright then, I dare you to only talk to Jason later."

"Deal! You are going to be sorry you wasted a perfect chance to embarrass me later."

We finished our game, ate our food, and got in the car to pick up Nico and take me and Hazel home. As usual, in the car, Piper's mom Anne let us listen to whatever music we wanted. So, being the theater nerds that we are, we played the only obvious choice: Hamilton.

Once we got there, we got out of the car and knocked on the door. Jason opened it, so we let Piper do the talking. "Hey Jason. We're picking up Nico before we go. That cool?"

Jason grinned and Piper's face flushed, "Sure! Come on inside. It's just me, Percy, Nico, Frank, and Leo left because Luke and Will left 30 minutes ago."

We walked inside and saw that, like us, they were sitting on beanbags in Jason's living room. We waved as they waved back at us. I don't know what they were talking about, but Percy was recovering from a blush, Leo had pizza grease imprinted on his shirt, and Nico was smiling.

We stayed for a few minutes so we could talk, and Piper kept her word and always aimed her conversation to Jason.

I stood in the other side of the group from Percy and every so often, is sneak a glance at him. No, I don't like him. I think... No. I don't like Percy Jackson.

We were about to leave, so Piper and I nudged Hazel towards Frank. She glared at us and walked forward.

"What are making her do?" Nico whispered to us as he smirked. Everyone except Hazel and Frank knew that they liked each other.

"F-Frank, I like you, s-so have a nice d-day!" Hazel was red from head to toe... And so was Frank. She was out of there in a flash as everyone but Frank snorted with laughter. We piled intothe car and Piper's mom drove us home.

But not before Percy specifically said, "See you tomorrow, Annabeth!" And the door closed.

Author's Note: I hope you liked this chapter! I sat down and decided that I needed to just write this, so I did! A lot of times, I'm too busy listening to Hamilton..... A LOT of times. But, this is still published so... Ha! Alrighty, I gotta go! Bye bye!
